This review is for brunch:

This was my fist visit and I have to say I am pleased. The service was great. When I was fist seated I asked where there any open spots on the deck. The hostess walked with me there and after we didn't find any seats brought me back to my original seat(I was fine with this is was hot on the deck). A window seat opened up near me and without me asking the hostess asked if I wanted to seat there to get the outside feeling but with air. She did a lot more than she had to and that was great.

You can not beat the bottomless mimosas. Nothing more I can really say about that. Now the only reasons I didn't give five stars is because the food was just so-so. The great service and mimosas made up for this. I will be visiting again soon.

Ever had a waitress stuff your pizza in her face while you watched? I had this experience here.  We came here for happy hour.  There was maybe 4 people at the bar. We sat at a table near the bar, but was told if we wanted the happy hour specials, we would need to order from the bar.  So two of my friends ordered their non-happy hour burgers from the waitress, and I ordered the happy hour original pizza (basil, mozzarella, and tomato sauce) from the bartender. 15 minutes later my friends received their burgers.  30 minutes later and I was still waiting for my pizza. (My friends had finished their meal).  Then we asked the waitress and she spoke with the bartender (he just shrugged) and 15 minutes later (45 minutes total) we received our pizza.  We were wondering what was taking so long and then realized that we had seen 2 waitresses scarf an original pizza at the bar.  Which was probably ordered right about the same time we ordered ours! They didn't even attempt to hide that they were eating at the bar area, which is just gross if you are serving people.

Local 16 is one of our favorite bars ever!  The first time my husband and I walked in and sat downstairs at the bar, we felt at home.  That was the first time we met Rodrigo, and he has taken care of us almost every single time since then.  The pizza is yummy and the happy hour prices are great.  This place fools you from the outside, because there are 2 very fun levels of space here.  The bottom level is the most laid back and quiet (although not really quiet), and the ambiance/decor is very old fashioned with a touch of speakeasy vibe.  The second level is very large with a large room for dancing, they often have great DJ's, my girlfriend and I kind of broke off from the other half of our group one night and went and danced for hours in the dance area and somehow during that time period received a free shot...not sure why, but heck, why not?  The 2 1/2 part of the upstairs is the outside/bar area which is also huge!  There is a lovely long bar, and chairs, and beautiful lights strung every where.  There is also a little hideaway in the corner where a small party can act as VIP for the night if they get that space.  Everyone is always nice there and we have never had an issue.  I love this place so much that I just threw my 30th birthday party downstairs.  It was a 1930's Speakeasy party, where everyone dressed up and looked the part.  The staff was very accomodating, even bringing us the big fan that usually lives upstairs down to our party for a while so we could cool off.  Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that for the past almost 2 weeks, their air conditioning has been on the fritz. I know it is so hot and unpleasant for everyone, guests and staff, but the staff somehow put a smile on their face and work through the heat and sweat.  That is my only real complaint about Local 16, is for them to get the air fixed...and to maybe spruce up the bathrooms a touch...not the nicest of bathrooms, but all in due time I guess.
