In our quest for Minnesota food that does not contain cheese, fried batter, sour cream, and ranch dressing, we hit upon this little gem in the middle of the Mall of America.
Some of us chose smoothies, some of us chose wraps. The smoothie crowd definitley won - I had the fat-gree frozen yogurt berry smoothie, and my arteries were cheering for the rest of the afternoon!
The wrap-crowd of us were not as enthusiastic, so I would definitley consider where you are, and what you should expect.
This review is for their food, I didn't have a smoothie
The wrap was horrible and the food around me looked awful too. It's microwaved and doesn't taste good. $5 was overpriced.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Service was bad too. There's no reason I'd ever go here for food again. I only ate mine because I was hungry and already paid for it.
I love this place and love that they've expanded!
It's nice to have a healthier option in the food court at MOA. The soup I had wasn't super amazing, but it was good, and having a baked potato option?! Yum! Â The staff was also friendly.
By far my favorite thing here is their smoothies. They always have plenty of fresh fruit to choose from, and mix two fruits with their frozen yogurt, a little apple juice and whey protein powder.
I'm not sure how healthy and natural this place is. They microwave some of their food!
Why are restaurants ignorantly sacrificing our health in exchange for the convenience of microwave ovens? One word it's fast.
Well you know what? I don't care if it's fast, I don't eat microwaved foods!
Despite that, I do appreciate that Healthy Express exist in this mall, so I'm giving them 4 stars.
It's a healthier option than the food court.
The prices are reasonable enough and they do have a lot of healthy items.
Personally, I think the safest foods you can order here are the vegetarian wraps, salads and veggie fruit juices.
I did try their Veggie Wrap with cucumbers. It was spicy and tasty. The Carrot Juice with Apple was also delish and nutrish.
