I solicit Hooters so much that I'm pretty sure I pay to keep the lights on at multiple locations. I will say...the "talent" of the waitresses at this location is some of the best I've ever seen. I ate lunch here on a Friday afternoon and while it wasn't all that packed...the waitresses were awesome and the food, as always, was delicious.
My only complaint was that it took a long time to get the food during lunch at a location that was only 1/4 of the way full. Other than that...no complaints!
My cousin and I come here after a day at the shooting range. Â We call it "Shoot n Hoot!"
Easily my favorite Hooters... cuz it has the best service. Â Yeah, that's what I'm going with... the service. Â LOL, seriously, though, it is the best run Hooters IMHO, and I've been to one or ten. Â
Can't go wrong with Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Â Or the Buffalo Shrimp. Â Or a Buffalo-covered waitress for that matter.
It's always a good time at Hooters! The beers are tall and frosty and the fried Jalepeños are sliced and have no cheese in them, but delicious!
Went late on a Thursday and they were pretty slow, so got right in and started to eat and drink. Ordered the jale slices and the Lots-a-tots app as well. Â We thought it was pretty good, but on the small side.
I always love the regular wings in their hot sauce with ranch, celery, and curly fries can't go wrong.
The waitstaff are all very nice and even danced with us when we put some money in the jukebox and started to get it in.
I absolutely can't believe I'm giving Hooters 5 stars but yup, I am for this visit. Â I've been to this location tons of times but it seems as if management took a whip to the staff and finally got interested in guest satisfaction. Â We went on fight night and the place was super crowded but they were adequately staffed and had two managers keeping order. Â
We got cheese sticks and wings. Â My pet peave is for my appetizer to arrive with or near the same time as my entree and the waitress got it just right. I noticed her watching to see when we were ready for wings. Â The sticks came out hot with stringy cheese and the wings were perfect. Â Seriously better than I've ever had anywhere. Â Even my man commented on how good they were and he shovels food not eats usually. :-) Â our drinks were always full and she cleared the table of dirty napkins regularly. Â
Hmmm. Â I hope they keep up the great job because it was nice to enjoy a great date night at Hooters
Terrible. I have never heard of a requirement that if you order alcohol before 12pm on a Sunday morning you must also order something to eat. We were planning to order food as well but not immediately. We were also planning to watch the Cowboys game but were told that although the game would be on the sound would not be turned up. If you're looking for someplace to watch the game don't waste your time here. Go to Chammp's. It's just down the street.
Review Source:We have gone twice in a two week span to this location, both times the food and service has been awful.
The first time the waitress yelled at the hosts for sitting us in her section, she had two current tables with 4 people each. My husband's shrimp po boy didn't have the shrimp. We laughed it off.
We went back last night, we asked for the wings to be cooked longer because they were red in the inside. After 25 minutes she comes back to tell us the cooks threw them away so they were making more. Thirty minutes later they only bring two orders, waitress the whole time was too busy flirting with some dude and putting her foot up on the stool so her vagina was in his face. We just ended up getting to go boxes as she brought the food out. Shitty food, shitty service, not worth it.
This location has really good management. They are constantly walking around to make sure you are doing ok. Â The only thing is the waitresses are not really on top of their game sometimes. Â It seems that they try really hard and they seem really friendly too but many of them are not good with timing, manners, picking stuff up off your table, and asking questions to inquire about your comfort in service throughout your meal.
Review Source:It's been a while since I've been 2 hooters & now I know why...1st off I forgot Addison still allows smoking in restaurants...boooo...so I ordered food 2 go...I get home...there is hair in my food....ewww....I went right back up there & the manager voided the transaction but in 2012....get something 2 keep the hair out the food shooters
Review Source:I wish I could give this hooters four or five stars... Â you see... I used to work the kitchen here. Â spent a good year back there, a really good year. Â
and I made the bentley sauce (the spiciest sauce they offer, available only in texas hooters). Â I was they guy that made that sauce for this store, and I made sure it was spicy. Â we now live in austin, get our wing fix from pluckers. Â the wife had become a fan of their "fire in the hole" sauce at pluckers. Â she was ready to try the HOTTEST SPICIEST wings hooters could throw our way.
we got five bentley and five 3mile. Â I'll have to say that neither was spicy. Â they were crunchy and chickeny, but not spicy. Â I can see they need me to come back and take charge of that kitchen...
the service was good, the beer was cold with plenty of draft choices. Â some of the tables have been removed and replaced with a juke box that was WAY TOO LOUD!!!
my kids like coming here, they got balloons. Â my 4 yo son blushed and said "they have belly buttons"... Â yes, yes they do.
In general Hooter's is Hooter's...you go here for wings and if you are a guy to look at the girls. Â I do agree that not all Hooter's are created equal, even I know that. Â The one in Lewisville has a lot of seating, but not much to look at if you know what I mean. Â Even my husband noticed that...and I think they have a pregnant Hooter's girl...WTF is that all about!!! Â I'm sorry, but I think once you are showing you're pregnant, you need to take off the booty shorts if you know what I mean.
The Hooter's in Addison is closer to our house, and we go here about once a month or so for some wings and a beer. Â In general, this location has good service, and good food. Â It's all about the same to me, but I do enjoy the fried pickles. Â At least I haven't noticed any pregnant Hooter's girls at this location. Â :-P
I keep telling myself "why did i come here?" each time i decided to go to this location.
When it's crowded, you sit where you like because you're not greeted. When it's crowded and you need a seat you're still not greeted and don't know whether or not you have to be seated. I've seen this with both waitstaff and manager types, the latest being tonight. Even though he was standing at the podium and I was standing in front of him, I didn't even get looked at.
Once you sit, the time it takes for anyone to come see you varies from immediate to intolerably long. Once a waitress does show up, I've gotten nothing short of fantastic service...right up until it's time for the check. The waitress disappears and I begin to wonder if she left.
The food is hooters food. It is what it is everywhere else. Which is what I want, because I came for hooters food.
If you have time to kill and don't mind the frustration of actually trying to get in, this hooters is ok. West end hooters is better. If you want to feel welcome, go to twin peaks. Their food is horrible, but they act like they want you there.
Blech, with a side of Blech. Hooters is the ONLY place I will eat wings from after getting food poisoning from Wingstop. Some friends invited us out, so off we went. Let me start by saying our service was terrible. I guess you can't always be hot and smart at the same time and our waitress proved that fact. My friends boneless wings came out cold. So cold that he had to send them back. It took at least 30 minutes (without exaggeration) to get our check. I had already bussed our own table, and asked the manager twice for our check. At one point, the manager even thanked me for bussing our table. Seriously? I guess you really shouldn't expect great service from a Hooters type establishment, we all go to look at the girls right? I don't know that I will be going back. It was real bad.
***UPDATE*** 2/22/12
I have learned something about Hooters today. They do care about their customers. After writing my initial review (above), I received a PM message then an phone call from Matt the GM. He wanted to know all of the details about our visit and seemed genuinely concerned about the behavior of his staff. I was really impressed with Matt and I have a newly found respect for Hooters.I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 because of the time Matt spent talking to me and trying to make it 'right'. Â Thank you Matt for the phone call, it was really appreciated!
First let's establish a fact. Â Not all Hooter's are created equal. Â In the vast spectrum of Hooter's quality, Hooter's Addison is a pair of natural, full, perky C's. Â
It's quality food, and quality service both in appearance and performance.
Repeat after me. Â Buffalo chicken sandwich, hot, with a side of 3 mile. Â Extra ranch. Â Fried pickles. Â Beer. Â HAPPY!!!
11 of 13 stops in Dallas today! Â Â The waitress staff here were really nice, A+!!!!
Foolish tour continues; do not be upset by my review of 12 different Hooters today!
Our eleventh stop was to Hooters of Addison. Â Yikes our phone GPS actual works!
We stopped but did not eat; we took pictures and continued on our way.
We like this restaurant it was bright and lunch hour was over so it was not as crowded as earlier today.
The girls were very friendly and gladly posed for pictures. I like our pictures!!
Back to the Batmobile, onward foolish boys!
Would I go back? Â Yes next time we need passport stamps!
I have frequented this location for years now and I would have to agree with another reviewer on two points the crab legs are better here than other locations, however I have often had poor service. Â Issues with my waitress not being attentive and paying more attention to her cell phone that her customers. Â If management ever gets this under control I would revisit my rating. Â If you are lucky you will get a waitress that is on the ball, gets your order right and the food still hot when it gets to the table.
If the crab legs weren't so tasty and such a bargain for late night dining I would not come back because of the poor service.
Hooters...I've only had their regular, mild, hot and hawaiian bbq wings and fried pickles, fries and philly cheesesteak sandwich here...so my review is only based on those item and my service
Our waitress was nice and she got the bartender to bring our drinks fairly quick....but she took a long time to come back to us to take the order...she was ok but had much more friendlier waitresses here before
the wings here are ok...I've had better at buffalo wild wings and a couple of other places but one of my favorite thing about this location is they have a full bar with liquor and their fried pickle tastes great!!!
I go to this Hooters location almost weekly with a co-worker because they have a $5.99 boneless wings and fries deal and its close to my office.
When we get our regular waitress the service is excellent but other times we have waited for extended periods of time to get our order.
The kitchen is also very inconsistent. Â Some days the food is cold in the middle, some days molten lava hot, and sometimes the wings taste over breaded.
I would recommend the boneless wings or buffalo chicken sandwich. Â The philly cheesesteak and grilled chicken sandwich are okay as well.
There are several wing sauce options. Â I normally get the bentley but I don't find it to be all that hot.
This is the hooters closest to the apartment so we go here occasionally. It's not great. Not sure why - maybe its the memories, but I think the hooters in Florida have better wings.
Our waitress was nice and she got the bartender to make me a glass of sangria when they normally only sell it by the pitcher (and I like their sangria, but not a pitcher by myself kind of like it) so that was good.
We got 2 flavors of wings and I got a grilled hot dog (I love grilled hot dogs for some reason). My hot dog was awesome, but the wings were disappointing. Out of the 20 wings we ordered at least 5 were broken. I hate broken wings. It might be just me but meat around the broken part is discolored and usually tastes nasty. That's alot of wings I didn't eat because they grossed me. I ordered my wings medium but they looked and tasted mild.. which is a shame - hot is too hot and mild is just plain boring.
