The only reason I dined at IHOP is because Over Easy Cafe was closed thee end.

I know it's not the Ritz Carlton but next time I will call ahead to make sure they have silverware.  Ate there today (Thanksgiving) and they didn't have clean silverware so the waitress gave me and the wife pre-packaged plasticware.  Hey, at least we get to keep the plastic ware, also came with salt and pepper, yay!

Food was great, we didn't get water, although we were told about water a couple times.  They didn't have any big glasses so the waitress asked if we wanted small glasses, and then she just didn't bring any, weird.  So bring your own water too maybe.  But they did have hot sauce.  Also my wife wanted to order off the kiddie menu and they wanted to charge us an extra dollar for that...she is kind of short so what was the big deal really, it's not like the cook knows what's goin on out there.

I did take like about four coffee creamers though as a tax for all the inconvenience but the creamers popped open in my jeans later so probably won't do that next time.

All in all good Thanksgiving brunch spot, just call ahead to see about the state of things.

I arrived at this ihop with a party of six at approximately one in the morning on a Thursday. The restaurant was empty so we were promptly seated, and our experience went downhill from there. My friends and I placed our orders and the drinks came out. Unfortunately one of my friends found a FLY in his water. He informed the server and she took away the glass, but replaced it ten minutes later without an apology. Now, a wait for the food is understandable, simply because it is one in the morning. My crepes came with whipped cream and I asked the server to put it on the side (I'm picky as I want to control the amount of whipped cream I consume) and she put a large dallop on them. It is after midnight so I let that little mistake slide. My friend ordered her eggs over easy, but it was simply undercooked so she did not finish them. Another friend ordered red velvet pancakes. Now I'm not sure if the fly was in the batter and was cooked into the pancake or if it landed on it but we definitely found it on her pancakes. The point I'm trying to make is that this ihop is not sanitary whatsoever. There are flies flying around and I question if their cooks are trained enough. The reason why I am being so harsh on my review of this ihop is because the last time I went there, my dining experience was even worse (and yet I wonder why my friends and I returned to this particular ihop in the first place). I will definitely not visit this ihop again.

I would like to mention that this review ONLY applies to this ihop. I've been to multiple ihop locations and have been satisfied. This place really needs a visit from the health inspector, because it is simply disgusting.

OK, I know it is not too cultured to like IHOP, but I have to say I enjoy my weekly breakfast here with my girlfriend.

Compared to other "higher end" breakfast/diner places in the area, their food is pretty good.  Much better than Baker's Square!  I like their pancakes, mushroom and spinach omelette, and even their grilled chicken salad.  I appreciate that they highlight their low calorie items on the menu. The service is great and they have free wifi.

I might be a little nostalgic, but eating early morning at IHOP after a night at the bars is an American tradition!  It almost feels like home.

Well all I can say is that the service was decent. The set up of the place failed completely. So did their omelets.  The parking lot was not big enough. If you decided to park elsewhere you were going to be ticketed. So you had to wait for an open space and do u-turns over and over hoping to get one.

The waiters station is the same place as the kitchen, which is located right in front of the pay station. Basically everyone is running into everyone at every moment.

It was busy on a Sunday morning of course, but my friend and I were seated within 2 minutes.  These tiny little booths for two were very uncomfortable and there was barely enough room for two plates.  We ordered our food and it was there in 5-10 minutes.

I got a country omelet. Yuck.  The omelet was dry and bland. I could have made a better one at home. It had no flavor.  All we received on the side was some toast. That was $8.99. Too pricey for such lack in flavor and in sides.  Mcdonalds would have been better.  We also ordered 4 slices of bacon. It was $4.00. So $1.00 for a tiny strip of bacon? Please!

My friend ordered an omelet as well. Hers was just as bad and they forgot to add tomatos which she asked for.  When we told the waiter we weren't very happy with the omelets he kind of laughed like we were joking. Which we weren't.

I do not recommend Ihop at all. Blah!

Eh, it was okay. My eggs were undercooked, my friend's hashbrowns were completely undercooked. Enough said.

Service is better now.  Good thing about a chain businesses, employees change pretty often.

I've only been ordering a sunny egg and bacon on my cheeseburgers for the last so many years that IHOP finally got with the trend and now offers them as a standard on their menu. Hee hee.

I come here because it's 24/7 and it's always been this way for years.  It's written on their sign and they haven't gone back on their word like another location which I won't name.  Plus when my god kids visit they love IHOP, so it's a convenience on those occasional late evenings when they're allowed to stay awake later.

With IHOP, it is what it is.  It's better than Golden Nugget.  Yeah, live with it, I said it.  You have to know that their eggs don't come out of the shell when prepared, many eggs are sitting in some kind of ready chamber.  It's not gourmet your paying for so get over that.  For a convenient meal with ample people watching excitement it does its job.  Tune in after 1 am.

Overall, I'm really not a fan of chain restaurants -especially for breakfast. I hadn't eaten at an IHOP for years after a not-so-great experience once in Florida (service as slow as refrigerated syrup and undercooked food). However, I've been on this crazy strict organic diet, so I just wanted to be bad...very bad!

My boyfriend and I rode our bikes to the gym and the IHOP on the corner seemed like the easiest place to get some fuel before our loooong monster ride to the lakefront area.

I ordered some type of special with scrambled eggs and french toast. MMMM all those naughty carbs pulsing through my blood stream. It was actually quite tasty! I think he got some kind of sampler with lots of meat and enjoyed his food as well.

The place was bustling! It was a little noisy, but that only shows the popularity. Everyone from the greeter to the manager and our server Andrea was super friendly.

It totally changed my opinion of IHOP. Though I can't eat there often due to my diet, they do actually have some healthy alternatives, noted on the menu such as whole wheat french toast and egg beaters.

I was pretty impressed. I may have to make an exception once in a while!

Stale French toast. Not good at all. Ordered fresh fruit, but was given french fries.

What can I say. Came here since the bf was too drunk to drive back home and to get food and we were in Evanston so we could pick our cars back up after the limo dropped us back off.  We ordered the stuffed french toast combo and shared it. It was a huge combo only for $8. Cheap as hell! the stuffed french toast is to die for! I love I hop and the fact that their open 24 hours is even better. Thanks for the late night eats!

This place used to be passable but this mornings breakfast was a disaster. The biscuits for the biscuits had gone rancid, the bacon had spoiled and the pancakes were still raw in the center, you could taste raw flour and baking powder. All in all a disgusting mess and enough for us to never return.

I know what you're saying.  IHOP, really?  Those were my exact words when my boyfriend suggested that we stop in for brunch.  It's right by his place and he promised that he wouldn't tell my friends.  We went in on a Saturday morning and the place was jammed.  Surprisingly, they told us it would only be a 10 minute wait and that was actually the case.  Our server was friendly beyond belief and very attentive.  The personal pot of coffee did it for me.  What better hang-over cure can you ask of a place that doesn't serve Bloody Mary's?  I had an egg-white omelet which wasn't the best but I love that they give you the option of cottage cheese as a side.  He had a breakfast which could easily feed a family.  For the price and proximity, wasn't a terrible choice.

I'm not generally a big IHOP fan.  I've found it generally to be generic unoffensive food.  However, my partner David and I go there regularly on Saturday mornings.  It's clean, service is quick, and the food is good American family restaurant breakfast food.  The pot of coffee at the table is very nice.

What is amazing is the staff.  They are extremely friendly and courteous, and nice.  No "attitude" what-so-ever.  Makes going there a great way to start a weekend.

Have to say, I really enjoyed my recent trip to this IHOP.

I haven't been there in around 2 years. The last time I went it was pretty dirty. No more! I went last week and it was scrubbed up; seems like they got new, less institutional lighting, nice syrups racks, and perhaps they also reupholstered the booths. Our service was very friendly and efficient and the food was good. I was pleasantly surprised and exclaimed, "I gotta Yelp about this!" as I exited.

Keep in mind my five stars is not because the dining is 5-star dining. It's the overall experience, the effort this location is putting in to classin' it up just a touch, and the revamped menu and its prices all make for a solid, but by no means "nice," experience.
