I stopped going here because there is a better chinese buffet on golf rd near walmart in niles. Went back recently because I did not feel like going far. Big Mistake! I ate half a plate and left. Food not fresh, and pans empty. It was only 7pm. Waitresses stand around on cellphones when they should be replenishing the food. The supposed to be white noodles looked dirty and the mongolian beef tasted like freezer and was tough like leather. Â HORRIBLE, NEVER GOING BACK.
Review Source:Of course, I was skeptical. Â It's a Chinese Buffet. Â There's a maximum level of "good" it can achieve. Â Thankfully, it was a great experience and I will be happy to come back. Â Let me also state that I am squeemish when it comes to Chinese food. Â I have my rotation of 3 or 4 favorites and I don't venture out of my comfort zone often due to a lot of bad experiences in the past. Â Highlights: HOT, fresh crab rangoon. Â That's probably never happened before in the history of Chinese buffets. Â Each tray was filled with what looked like fresh food, with the exception of one or two. Â You don't get your own drinks-a waitress does. Â I was afraid of this as I hate being trapped at a table with an empty cup. Â They stopped by every 8 minutes or so. Â Also, their soft serve isn't the weird watered down icy tasting kind. Â It was creamy and delicious. Â This was all on a Sunday at dinner hour. Â Don't be afraid. Â Oh, and bring cash to tip the waitresses. Â Once you pay at the front, you can't add anything to your credit or debit receipt.
