We ate here recently and were very impressed.  The service was out of this world, and the view was amazing.  I had a pizza and it was the best I had ever had.  Parking is a little limited and the restaurant is not conducive to indepth conversation as it is loud.  it is a Pub after all.  I would recommend this to anyone.

The four stars are mostly for the location and the view. Its lively, and has an amazing view of the city - I would recommend sitting outside esp in summer. I personally didnt care for their beer selection especially after being spoiled in places like the Yard House and Cock and Bull. As for food, I just ordered some fried pickle, it wasnt the best I have had. But as I said, its a great place to hang out with friends.

Definitely mixed feelings about this one...

    Positives:
    1.  Had a group of 15 on a busy Friday night and amazingly enough our food came out incredibly quickly and drinks were refilled regularly.  Our service was top-notch.
    2.  Great view on the patio.
    3.  Lots of unusual food options, like the green eggs and ham pizza
    4.  Unusual creative cocktails at decent prices

    Negatives:
    1.  Wow this place is really, really, really, really loud! Next time I go, I will sit on the patio or go at a really off time.
    2.  This place is really popular- Wait times for tables are still really long.

Not someplace I will go back to regularly... but I will try it again.

    A spectacular view!

The city is neatly labeled by the convention center in case you've forgetten where you are.

The service was on their toes the whole night.  Drinks and food were available after 11:00.  I'll have to come back for an actual dinner sometime.

This is a really nice addition to Cincinnati. It's really a nice place to go, and I was incredibly happy with my visit here.

Parking in the lot is limited, and if you come onaa weekend, you'll probably have to try and nab a spot on the street. We came around 6:30 or so on a Saturday, and the inside was already packed. I love how they take names though - they take your photo with an iPad and come get you when your table is ready. Just brilliant.

Our wait time was estimated at an hour and 40 minutes. It was at least an hour, I think, but hoenstly, I really don't know. We enjoyed beers on the deck overlooking the view, which is downright beautiful. The patio wasn't too crowded and we were able to stand at a table near the edge. It made the wait pass quickly.

Our waiter was nice, patient with us as we couldn't figure out what we wanted (gather a bunch of people who haven't seen each other in awhile, they have a lot of catching up to do). I ended up trying the grilled cheese because I felt the need to. I also shared the grippos encrusted mac and cheese with a friend.

The grippos mac and cheese was a good idea, but not that wonderful. A bit bland actually! The grilled cheese was really yummy - it comes with delicious short rib inside that was cooked to perfection. I really loved it - only thing was it could be a bit more cheesey. It was honestly more just a short rib sandwich than a grilled cheese.

I also tried the lamb slider which was amazing! I wish we had ordered more of those. They were perfection.

In the end, I also decided to try one of their cocktails, the Black Mojito. It was really yummy, although missing the mint leaves and what not of a true mojito. I'd definitely order it again though!

I spent a good 3 hours here and loved every minute of it. A really inviting place with delicious food.

This was my first trip to the Incline Public House. It's still a very new facility and it shows. The location is in a part of town often overlooked as "dangerous" but which has some of my favorite eateries.

I had the Black & Bleu Salad which I expected to be larger, but the steak was served whole on the side not cut into strips like other places. The Bleu cheese was fresh and didn't seem like it'd sat around long. A plus.

My table-mates had a variety of other items and we tended to share around. The stuffed olives were tasty, but not really worth the price IMHO. The stuffed mushroom is really good though. Both the duck and lamb sliders were fantastic... and the pico de gallo which came with the bruschetta was spicier than normal which made me ecstatic.

One of the signature draws for this place will definitely be the view. From their deck you can see out over all of downtown Cincinnati with the river and the bridges.

Looking for a nice date place? Look no further.

First let me start with saying that the view is pretty freakin awesome from here.  I'm definitely coming back just to sit on the patio, sip on a yummy craft beer and take in the view.

Okay now on with the review.  I came here on a Thursday evening for dinner.  I was surprised at how small it was when I walked in.  The dining room was packed and the tiny bar doesn't have a lot of stools to offer an alternative to the dinning room seating.  Our wait for 2 was about 40 minutes long (I don't mind waiting).

Once we were seated we started with the Mushroom Pastry as our ap.  It didn't disappoint.  Super fresh ingredients and flaky crust.  We split the Margherita Pizza and the Roasted Beef Sandwich.  The pizza was fantastic. Flavorful sauce and the crust was perfect.  The beef on the sandwich was tender and juicy, but they neglected to put the horseradish cream on our sandwich, so the flavor was a little on the bland side.  And to be honest, I don't remember there being any swiss cheese on the sandwich either.  But even with a couple of missteps the sandwich was still edible.   For desert we had the cheesecake. OH EM GEE!!! This cheesecake is to die for!  It was so good I didn't want to share...not gonna lie, I like my sweets.

Everything here is made in house, from scratch.  Impressive.  If you haven't checked this place out yet, you need to.  It's worth the trip.

A place on the west side of town I don't have to talk myself into frequenting? Shocking! (Well, save a few other standby's, but going for effect here.) The atmosphere is modern, hip, and classy. The clientele seems mixed, or at least unclear to me in origin, but not at all pretentious (different than moments in OTR). Maybe it's even others west siders I don't regularly see because I avoid a lot of other locales? I'm not sure, but I like it here. It's reasonably price, has good food, and is a nice place to hang out. Amazing!

The first time we went it was crowded. The second time as well. We waited and it was worth it, but it does have new restaurant popularity. The burger was great, salad fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza good quality. Their beer selection is varied and they carry cider, so I'm happy. We had a thin mint cheesecake (served in a cup) and it was a nice splurge.

Our first waiter, Chris, was professional, attentive, and helpful. Our second waiter, a girl whose name I can't recall, was a bit off in her professionalism and handling of the electronic order machine (kept dropping it and then acting flighty) but it didn't take away from our time.

My only other feedback is mention of the fact that both times we've been there, the hosts have greatly overestimated our wait time. The first time we were told 2.5 hours, we were seated in 1. The next time we were told 'about an hour', and we sat down in 15 minutes. I know the restaurant is new, but working on being more accurate and not turning people away seem critical at this juncture.

I think the view and atmosphere here will be divine in nicer weather, but I think that also means the crowds will persist.

They just started a lunch/brunch service and I would really like to check that out.

I hope the Public House is successful. I like it here. I only hope the local support and few kinks continue to be worked out. See you soon, Public House...

We've never eaten in this part of Cincinnati before, since we're from way out on the NE side in Milford, but since we had to be downtown for a meeting we decided to try it afterwards.  I especially wanted to see the view.

We arrived early (4:20pm) on Tuesday, so there were only a few other customers.  The main front view had large tables next to the windows, so they seated us on the side where the tables for 2 were, next to the bathrooms.  I was a little disappointed with that seating, but I actually had a great view to the NE (Clifton, Mt. Adams, etc.)  I walked around to see the other views, which you can actually also see from the park next door.  It would have been nice to have a little more information about the Incline, besides what was on the menu and the few photos by the bar.  Perhaps I missed it.  It was too cold to go to the park next door.

I was really impressed with the great service that our nice waiter Jeff provided.  I'm a big water drinker, and I was the DD, and even though we had a tall carafe on the table (love this) of the tasty Verowater they provide, Jeff was always there to pour my next glass for me!  My husband enjoyed the IPA beers.

I was also impressed with the high tech way that they take orders on a little tablet and they also scan your credit card at the end the same way, so you never lose sight of your card.  The cloth towels that they provide as napkins were a nice, green, touch that I appreciate.

My husband got the special, the Reuben with house made sauerkraut, with fries, and he said it was all good.  I got the Elberon Salad, and it was excellent!  Lots of the yummy candied walnuts!  I ordered the smoked chicken for the salad and was disappointed that it was a very small amount, I had to cut the skin off of it, and one piece was almost all bone & fat.

We ordered the Chocolate chip dessert cookie to share.  It was smaller than I expected but that was OK because the cookie tasted like it wasn't homemade dough but the kind from a tube.  I don't really know for sure.

We will try to come back sometime with friends, if we are ever in the area.

I was very impressed with the restaurant.  The roasted veggie pizza was STUPID good!  The hosts came around to check on us while we waited for a table and I could've have asked for better customer service.  I can't wait for the beer bell!

I had been waiting for the opening of Incline Public House for awhile and was ecstatic when I finally made my way there. Disclaimer: I grew up in Price Hill, and even though I don't live on the West Side anymore (and admittedly talk a decent amount of smack about it), I do have West Side Pride and hold a special place in my heart for Price Hill.

My fellow west side friend and I decided to do dinner and drinks here on a Thursday night. It was packed, which made me more excited than frustrated because I love to see new businesses thriving. We took a seat at the bar and checked out the view of the Cincinnati skyline; the view from the IPH and the Incline District in general is definitely one of the best the city has to offer. This alone would make the trip here worth it.

Moving on to the actual place itself - the inside of the IPH is beautiful, with vaulted ceilings, awesome light fixtures, and a mixture of individual tables and community style seating. The bar is large and you can see the big oven for the wood-fired pizzas blazing away. They have a great beer list, which includes a lot of local brews, and the bartender offered me samples of beers I was interested in before I chose the one I wanted, which ended up being Blank Slate's Movin' On (local).

It wasn't long before we were seated and onto the menu. The menu has a lot of items named after streets/places on the west side, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I had read a review about the corn dogs and how great they were, so I had to go for them. These corn dogs are your corn dogs from childhood all grown up - made with andouille sausage and served with spicy ketchup. For the main event, I ordered the green eggs and ham pizza (pesto, prosciutto, arugula, fried egg) and my friend ordered the shrooms pizza (white sauce, onions, peppers, goat cheese, pesto), and in my humble opinion, these pizzas trump the pizza I have had at other nearby trendy pizza places (at a cheaper price, to boot). Service was friendly and expedient, but we did not feel rushed to leave in the slightest.

I know this is a long review, but I feel that it is fully warranted. I can't wait to go back to IPH and am anxiously awaiting the warm weather so my friends and I can hang out on their awesome patio overlooking the city!

I was very impressed.  Large selection of beers.  Ideal location/view with panoramic views of the city from any place in the restaurant.   Very quick and friendly service.  Great vegetarian options.  My wood-fired "shroom" pizza and my partner's portabello burger came out faster than pretty much any restaurant I've been to, and they were delicious.  The onion rings were the best I've ever had, hands down.  Flaky (very unlike the homogenous coating you see in most restaurants) with just enough salt.  Also, the prices were very reasonable given the excellent food quality and service.  My only critiques would be that:

A)The TV screen is a bit small to watch a game from across the bar.
B)The beer list was not well lit (But the bartender said lights are being installed this week, so this is a bit of a moot point .)
    C) The loud "Top 40" pop music doesn't seem to match the atmosphere.   I would think something a little more alternative would be a better fit.

In any case, I will be a returning guest.  My girlfriend and I went outside to enjoy the expansive deck after our meal and take some pictures.  Can't wait until it's open for dining!

Just went there for a beer tasting evening.  This place offers the treat of being in a historical location where not only the incline once resided but also WSAI radio station.  The view is breathtaking and we happened to be there for the Casino's opening night fireworks which was amazing.  The patio will be a great place to sit, eat and relax in the Summer.  Although we did have a wait, the bartender was super and very efficient and we were able to order appetizers at the bar.  True, it is not a large place and seems to be popular right now so anticipate a wait if you are going at prime time.  Once we were seated the service was terrific, waiters and waitresses tended to ask if you needed anything even if they were not assigned to your table. Will return for sure and have already told numerous people about the place.

I understand they will  be opening for lunch which will be great.

I gave it four stars because the noise level can get a little loud but there were a lot of basketball fans there which may have accounted for that.

My husband is obsessed with Cincinnati history, so for Valentine's day I took him here as my "gift" because he's especially interested in the old Inclines and ruins. We already had dinner and were just around for a few drinks so we took a seat at the bar. The service from the bartender was truly great, he was friendly, full of knowledge to their beer selection, and paid plenty of attention to our waters and even just chatted us up every now and then.

We decided to order dessert and got the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. He said it'd be enough for two, so we got one to share....I wish we each got our own because it was amazing and I am a sweet lover who could have easily devoured that by myself! The cookie was hot and very tasty and topped with delicious ice cream and carmel. All blended so well.

Our second visit was for the MadTree brewery event, for $10 dollars we got a tasting and to try multiple appetizers. We were very pleased with both but since this review is for Incline Public House I will focus on the appetizers we got to try! Everything was wonderful and they continued to bring out more and more. We tried the cod bites, spring rolls, and something that I would call a potato skin bite. All were extremely great!  The bartender was again very attentive and really gave great service.

We can't wait to go back when the patio is open and actually have dinner there. From the sounds of everything, the dinner will surely meet up to our now very high expectations!

Incline Public House has one of the best, if not the best, views in the city. I say this not even having dined on the outside patio. When the patio opens up in the summer this is going to be the place to have a cold beer. Especially when the Reds are playing.

I didn't really know what to expect going into Incline Public House. I hadn't heard of it before and really wasn't sure what was going to go down. We walked in during the week and the place was popping. Every table was full. We put our name in and went up to the bar where there were a couple of available seats. We ordered a drink and soon the hostess walked up and told us our table was ready. We eventually opted to eat at the bar as the seating at Inlcine Public House is very strange. There are a few community tables that are really high off the ground, very BW3's style. And then there are more community tables lining the walls. There are only a handful of tables that are flying solo. If you come here expect to be uncomfortably close to strangers. It's weird because there is tons of space to put tables, I think they are using incorrectly.

Aside from the weird seating everything else at Incline Public House is outstanding. The prices here rival many chain restaurants without the chain quality of food and drink. Most beers are in the five dollar range. The list is extensive with several more local beers on draft. The wine is also one of the cheapest in the city. As we were sitting at the bar we chatted lightly with the extremely friendly bar tenders. They made recommendations about the food and drinks and told us along the way what we were having and what ingredients were being used. The owners did a great job of educating the staff.

The food here is delectable while not being pretentiously priced. We ordered the corn dogs. You might be saying, corn dogs? Really? But these aren't your run of the mill corn dogs. Made with Andouille Sausage, individually skewered then served with a habernero ketchup and a spicy mustard, these dogs take corn dogs to a whole nother level. You could tell by the fresh taste that these aren't just sitting in the back waiting to be deep fried. They are made to order. In fact, while we were eating them we chatted with the General Manager who told us that Incline doesn't even own a freezer, and they only have a small refrigerator for the cold items. He also mentioned that they order their food five times a week., This is the epitome of fresh food and this makes me happy to hear they aren't selling out to make a better profit.

We also ordered the Margherita Pizza which was beautifully cooked and complete with mouth watering toppings. I loved the cherry tomato's on the pizza as opposed to the larger tomatoes these pizzas usually sport. It made for a really delicious bite because of the small "pop" you get with the tomato's. I am loving all the new flat bread and wood fired pizza places around Cincinnati.

Overall, besides the mentioned awkward seating, Incline Public House is at the top of the list of new restaurants in Cincinnati. It is a little bit out of the way for Downtowners to stop in for a night on the town but it makes for a great date night location on the cheap. I really hope they can keep up the fresh quality standards that they set for themselves. It is a breath of fresh air for Cincinnati and I am glad to have them in the city!

I'm giving them four stars on potential.

We arrived around 8 on a Saturday only to be told we'd have a TWO AND A HALF HOUR wait.  While standing around wondering how that would even be possible, we finally made it to the bar to order some drinks while we voraciously looked on our phone for other options nearby.  There were some large groups of six and 8 ahead of us, but we still found the approximated wait ridiculous.  Only more ridiculous was the fact that MANY people walked in behind us and left when they heard the wait.  For being a new place, we thought they might want to do all they could to keep potential customers coming in.   This isn't a place you just happen upon with many other things around it-you have to want to go here.

Only an hour later, we had a table.  So, take that for what it's worth.  Either the ability to approximate wait is still being figured, or it was just a quick night.  Also, they don't have a buzzer or text system, so it's all based on the hostess finding you-that always makes me nervous.  I would much rather give them my number and get a text so I know I won't be passed over if I don't hear my name.

Cindy's comment is right- the table layout/arrangement does seem awkward, and like there could/should be a more efficient use of space.

Once we got past the table debacle, the night was smooth sailing.  Our server Justin(?) was great-very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks.  This place serves tap and sparkling water which is a very nice, non-Cincinnati touch.  I had the mushroom pizza, and a small Elberon salad.  I thought it was great, and everyone at the table seemed happy with their food.  The meal ended with the mint cheesecake which was a) delicious and b) served in a small glass as opposed to a 'slice' of cheesecake.  (All food came out super fast!  Again, 2.5 hour wait, what?)  The menu and drinks are VERY affordable.

We were located right next to the door out to the deck.  In the summer, probably no big deal, but in February, there was a rush of cold air every time someone decided they need to go out to get a better view.  A sign on the door/opening the gate by the main entrance to allow folks to use the main door for this would have improved our experience, but the door to the deck also provided our entertainment as no one could seem to figure out how to open the door to get back in.

All in all, it's a place I'm happy to see on the West Side, and I hope to be back, especially this summer (heaters on the deck for winter?).  For now, I encourage you to bear the wait and hope that you have an experience like ours.

Now if only we can get everyone there to stop drinking bottles of Bud Light and try some of the stuff on tap...

First let me say the city view is perfect and once it is warmer outside the view will be even more perfect!  The dinner was amazing! My dinner companion got the fish sandwich raved about it and said I cannot wait to get this again! I ordered the portobello sandwich and at first there was a slight problem since I cannot tolerate red peppers and the sandwich came with red peppers and they informed me it was already made that way  but let me go check. The waitress came back and said no problem we can make you a different portobello sandwich which always shows me how a restaurant is willing to go that extra step for a customer. Double kudos since it is a new restaurant!  Seriously you will not be disappointed in Incline Public House not only do they care for the customers but they make great food so I suggest you get in your car and enjoy some good food!

Alrighty team. I know you're expecting a review on this place so here it goes.

Justin and I went for a weekday date night. It was rainy and sloppy out so we were a little concerned the view wouldn't be as good as everyone said, but dang we were wrong! No matter what the weather. This view will take your breath away.

    The Atmosphere:
When we walked in we sat at the bar and put in our name for a table. The bar was cozy and when we were offered a table we actually turned it down because it was smushed in between to other parties and it felt really uncomfortable. That being said, the bar was fantastic! My only complaint is that the layout of the seating is awful. There are huge community tables that don't make sense here. Sometimes I agree, a community table really makes perfect sense, but in this case they need to break it up. It is such a large space but there are very little tables and it feels cramped, and awkward.

The decor is very tasteful. I really liked the light fixtures, and the candles on the tables. A mix between an industrial and rustic feel.

    The Food:
This was their strong point. We ordered corn dogs as a recommendation from our bartender. At first I thought, oh no. This is very simple food and if these don't come out right I will be very disappointed. Much to my surprise the food came out pipping hot and these were some of the best corn dogs I have ever had. They were accompanied by a honey mustard and a habenero ketchup that was outstanding!

We also had the Margherita pizza which again came out hot and fresh. I was so surprised at how effortlessly the kitchen was running for a busy night. And they have nothing to hide the kitchen is open air. Which is a nice touch. Anyway, the pizza was simple, fresh, and a nice breath of fresh air.

    The Service:
Although the cramped table was a bummer the rest of our service was fantastic. I ordered a margarita that at first was just plain lime juice and tequila. I don't think the first bartender knew how to make it. The other bartender saw my squinched face when I took a drink and immediately remade it with some simple syrup and it ended up being one of the best margs I've had in a long time. PS they fresh squeeze their lime, grapefruit and orange juice. What a nice touch!

Overall a few kinks, and the seating arrangement needs major work, but the food was fresh, simple and executed perfectly. Go visit the Incline Public House it's definitely worth the trip!

People from Cincinnati know that it has a very nice skyline, especially when you are driving into town from CVG airport. However it is difficult to enjoy the view when you are driving, now imagine you can sit an enjoy that same view while drinking a beer, well you don't have to imagine you just need to go to Incline Public House.

The view alone would make it worth while but they also have a nice selection of craft beers on tap, good selection of bourbons, and good food - stone fired pizza, salads and sandwiches. Had the fried pickles which were just ok, portabella salad (delicious), and green eggs and ham pizza (delicious). It's not cheap but prices are reasonable. Service was very attentive. Definitely worth going to. I personally cannot wait until the weather gets warmer so you can hang out on their 2 level deck and enjoy the view from outside. Here's to hoping this place is the beginning of the revival of Price Hill.

Celebrated a friends birthday here with 11 people, the staff was accommodating and made sure it was a special day for our friend. The shrimp wontons were a superb appetizer. All of us tried different sandwiches, the brisket grilled cheese was the best. The view is also an exceptional part of the experience!

Great place with an awesome view right next door to Prima Vista.  There's a nice 2 level outdoor patio that will be great in warmer weather.  Very decent craft brews on tap(locals too), and a good bottle selection too.  Menu features hand tossed personally sized pizzas, innovative sandwiches and tapas sized appetizers of pretty decent variety.  Honestly, the prices are very reasonable too.

The history of the location is definitely a draw, as it is on the location of the former Price Hill Incline.  I assume that the high ceiling emulates the old incline house.  Cool lighting, polished concrete floors, it has a "hip/cool/neu" feel.  It was about 2/3 the size I thought it would/should be, so there was a decent wait for our party of 6.

Overall impression: I liked most of it.  Food, beer, view, atmosphere, all thumbs up.  One weird thing I never thought I'd comment on was the bathroom.  Very bright and sterile (with a urinal hung by a Very short person).  With the hip/cool look of the place, the baño looked like a bathroom in a mall or office building.  Just being honest.

Soooo, being the first reviewer, I say go!  I rarely go to that part of town, but this is a great spot for dinner and drinks with friends with a really great view.  I think it's only been open for a week or so, so any kinks will be worked out.  Great place to take out of town friends to show off a different view of the Cincinnati skyline!
