I'm giving this new Jam'N'Jelly 5 stars only because Yelp won't let me give it 6! I've been eating at the Darien restaurant since I moved here 2.5 years ago. This one is equally delicious and the decor is excellent! Best of all? Teddy took my advice and installed a counter! Now I can pop in when I'm by myself and not feel bad that I am occupying a table. I love this place!

Seated quickly. Menú had an extensive list. We had skillets which were good and seemed to be just enough. Very spacious but the waitress could of been more polite. However, I'll go back.

We tried this new place out, and LOVE it. We are new to the area, so have never been to the other locations, but since my husband is a huge breakfast joint fan, we had to try this place out. Clean, modern, and friendly inside. Friendly staff seat you quickly. The food is decent, but really, it's all about the extras. The fresh squeezed orange juice (yes, it's pulpy and can have seeds, but it's fresh squeezed, what do you expect?) the little plate of homemade jelly, and the good coffee they keep flowing.  Super friendly and attentive staff. Great place for kids (nice kids menu). We had a postcard for a free orange juice, the waiter brought me a large(ish) glass, and even brought my husband and son free small glasses of juice for themselves. We are definitely fans and will be regulars!

I had previously been to the Jam N Jelly location in Darien and had a great experience, so I was expecting the same here, and it did not disappoint! I live just a few blocks away and had been planning to go, and then we got a post card for a free orange juice which was a great reminder that it was now open and we should go visit.

The menu appears to be the same as the Darien location. I ordered the same thing here that I did there- the American Skillet without the eggs. Food was delicious and service was right on. My only two very minor complaints are with the beverages. 1. The fresh squeezed OJ had several seeds (no biggie, really), and a ton of pulp. If you like pulp, you'll enjoy it. I don't so it was just okay. 2. The decaf coffee had clearly been sitting for a while because it was pretty bitter. Granted, we weren't there during typical breakfast hours - it was 2:00 on a Saturday, so I sort of understand the old coffee thing.

It's got a great atmosphere with comfy booths! No complaints here. We'll definitely be back!

I want to start by saying that I love breakfast.  It is my very favorite meal of the day and I take every chance to check out new breakfast joints. This place is a classic breakfast joint.
I started with a large orange juice that was so small, I finished it in two sips.  I realize that fresh squeezed orange juice usually comes in small glasses, but this was ridiculous.  It was also warm, not even the littlest bit chilled. Gross!
Then I asked for a half order of biscuits and gravy which the server was not happy about, but I did end up getting half order of cold biscuits and cold gravy.  The gravy was nothing special.
My fiancé ordered pancakes which were served with no butter or syrup, we had to ask for it.  He also got a side of bacon which he described as eating "chewy leather tongue."
I ordered a classic American skillet which came out with half cooked potatoes and consisted of mostly onions.  The green peppers were not cooked at all.  The sausage was not a breakfast sausage but more like a summer sausage which was also not really cooked.  My toast was burnt on one corner as well. The flavor of the food left much to be desired.
If you are looking for breakfast in this area, you are better off going to Granny D's which is right down the street or go to the Honey Jam Café which is a little further south on 53.

I have visited this new spot 2 times, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Pleasant service, fresh food, great portions (can easily split any lunch plate or salad) and fair prices. Will definately be back!

The newest breakfast venue to hit the Woodridge - Seven Bridges area. I was excited to hear someone was finally going to revive this location. I have always had great experiences at the Jam N Jelly Cafe in Darien, so I imagine it would carry over into the new location. Yes it did!

The decor is updated and my favorite aspect of this place is the spacious booths. It is like sitting in first class with plenty of leg and elbow room.

Our server was friendly and quick with the coffee refills...bonus! I ordered the Greek skillet with diced potatoes, gyros meat, tomatoes, onions, feta cheese and 2 basted eggs on top. It was delicious however I did not see or taste any feta cheese in my skillet :(

A nice surprise was the homemade jalapeno jelly....that was spicy sweet.

I've been anxiously waiting for this place to open since I live just a few blocks away. It was worth the wait! I visited Jam N Jelly yesterday for lunch with The Dude and my mom. The place was packed (always a good sign!) and we waited just a few minutes for a table.

I was impressed by the extensiveness of the menu. I ended up choosing the crab cake eggs Benedict, which was delicious (but I would have liked the crab cakes to be just a wee bit bigger for $10.95). The Dude had the portabella focaccia sandwich and my mom picked the tuna melt. All of us were delighted with our meals.

The decor in the restaurant is great also. It's modern, warm and welcoming. The servers are all very friendly and prompt - my coffee cup and water glass were never empty!

    We'll definitely be back!

Just stopped in for my first breakfast, with hopefully many to follow.

Large, comfy booths have replaced the very uncomfortable, contemporary ones.  There are now shades on the windows to block the sun when necessary.  When you enter, there is a counter to sit at, if that be your desire.  Booths and tables are available.

I think it is the same menu as the sister restaurant on 75th and Lemont.  Portions are very generous, food arrives quickly, and hot, and everyone gets their food at the same time.  All wait staff is very friendly, coffee refills are frequent, and a carafe of ice water is left on the table.  We did not have to wait, but it was getting crowded on this first Saturday of service.

Hope this place lasts a loooooooooooooooooooong time.
