I enjoy the ambiance and the food is pretty consistent. Well, hey, it's a chain!

For some reason, all the menu items I enjoy are pulled from the menu, never to return.Sad face. I tend to order salads here, usually. The Beach Salad, while not out of this world, is decent. I don't really care too much for the THICK vinaigrette (isn't vinaigrette supposed to be thin?) but like the texture of the quinoa and the strawberries in the salad.

What I don't care for is the sloppy service. Follow me...

    1. We wanted to sit outside, the hostess opened the door and didn't hold it open for our party of five. Really?! She held it open for herself and proceeded to go lead us to our table. Except the door closed  on us...

    2. We wanted to sit next to a heat lamp but she sat us elsewhere and told us that our server would bring the heat lamp over.

    Tick Tock....

We drag the heat lamp over to our table and the server sees us and relieves us of the task. He did, however, kindly bring us snuggly blankets (+1)

2.5 We didn't get silverware, water, or napkins until food came. Found that a little strange. I may be nitpicky by this point.

    3. We picked a few things off the menu and asked the waiter for his favorite recommendation. His response, "I don't know, I haven't tried it." SERIOUSLY?! As a server, you're supposed to know the menu like the back of your hand, have tried everything from the moon and back, or lie about how some random menu item has changed your life and you eat it every dang day!

    4. Since it was my friend's birthday, we wanted to surprise (key word, surprise!!)  him with a dessert menu item. I find a server that was hanging out with the hostess that sat us and asked her if they could send out a molten lava cake for dessert. Making an effort to "go to the restroom" the conversation took quite a while.
"1 molten lava cake for dessert as a birthday surprise, please"
"Sure, but we don't have candles or anything"
    "Ok, that's fine"
"You'll have to pay for the dessert"
"Yes that's fine, I didn't think it would be complimentary"
"We can write HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the plate"
    "Cool,thanks!"
    "We don't sing or anything"
    "Ok"
"What number table are you at?"
"The table the Hostess seated us at, the number isn't displayed" I assume they have some kind of numbering system, I wouldn't know about that....
    "Sorry we don't have candles"

    ::Server clears plates::

    SURPRISEEEEE

"Is it someone's birthday here? We will bring you a dessert soon"

Um.BAAAAAAAH!!!! Usually the surprise is in the delivery of dessert, not telling everyone at the table that a birthday dessert is coming after someone makes an effort to "go to the restroom" to order it as a surprise. Sigh. Foreshadowing at its best.

I've been here previously and we were seated in view of the kitchen. Friend ordered a burger without the bacon. Since we were SUPER hungry, we were eying the plates under  the heat lamp waiting to be served guessing which orders were ours. We see a hamburger, salad, and whatever else we ordered. Anticipating them bringing it over, we see the burger disappear and come back up to the heat lamps a couple minutes later. My friend says, "I bet he forgot I didn't want bacon, made the hamburger and pulled the bacon out". Sure enough, game over! End of story. There were bits of bacon in the burger. We spoke to the manager who apologized profusely. Pretty wrong not to remake the burger even after noticing your mistake. Totally dangerous for someone who doesn't eat pork for allergy reasons.

Joey's, your nickname is now "Sloppy Joe's". I'll probably be back for nachos or something.

I hear you only hire people who are good looking enough to get a job at A&F. If this is true, please train them on being timely and up the level of customer service from "annoying" to "I will hurry because your food will get cold".

    Kthanks

JOEY is always a solid place to go for drinks or food in downtown Bellevue.  To me, there is nothing out of this world, but they have some tasty food and a great vibe if you are looking for a place to hang out and catch up with friends one evening.

If I am here for appetizers, my go to is always some blue cheese fries, but if I am more in the mood for something sweet, I go for the chocolate soufflé.

You can't expect stellar service here, but there are some very attractive waitresses if you are looking to stare at some eye candy.

Pretty people, pretty place, decent food and drinks.  That about sums it up.

    Mediocre and over priced.

Indifferent service, Caesar salad like you would get from a kit at the supermarket, and over-done steak.

Lots of better places to go.

I have been a semi regular the past year, been there about 10-15 times, and not a single time have I been disappointed. very well poured drinks, very well proportioned meals, great pricing for what you are getting and the people that serve you and the people that surround you at the other tables are the people I want to be around. Yeah, it's a bit more upscale then some places, but that is the point, sometimes it's not the food and the drinks that are the only thing you are paying for... sometimes its not having to sit near a bunch of kids or people that stink or other unmentionable sociey issues.  I just want to be in a nice place with nice people and that is Joey in a nutshell.  Great job Chris on the menu too! Great seafood tacos, sliders, calamari... I have eaten so many things there... Love it. Even hosted an event there once for 10 of my best mates and it was awesome.  Can't praise it enough

Joey's got some of the best steaks!  Absolutely love their food, although their ahi tuna was a little on a well done side and the waiter assured me that's how it is (hmm).. but it was still good.  It's not cheap, but well worth it!

JOEY('s) a five star? Yes, I'm going to do it. Premium Casual Dining.

Why does JOEY('s) get all five? Well, because they have always, and consistently, treated me well. Not to mention (well, I will) they have always provided delicious food. What else you ask? Well, I always seem to walk (bump, stumble, roll) out with a fantastic buzz, a big smile, and the memories of many laughs and good times that have been had.

I like the fact that there are well put together, attractive, and clean people here. I'm sorry, when it comes to Seattle, sometimes I would rather put up with Eastside business debauchery than put up with the frumpies at home. Plus, the indoor mall, Nordstrom, and great people watching and nobody is asking me for money, I'm not in the way of a tourists camera, and the homeless dog isn't going to eat my face off, as well as the lack of weird smells. Sometimes you simply just get tired of all that.

Actually, I've committed to myself to spend more time on the Eastside. At the very least, all the dbaggy types just make me more appealing/approachable with no additional effort on my part.

Ok, enough side conversation... Drinks! For some reason their special drinks.. the super sonic, soda, bionic, coco, something fizzy, slushy, something or another's. I love these things! I asked the waitress why they weren't more slushy like something from 7-11. Response: that's because there's more booze in these (in nothing but the most friendly, flirty, JOEY('s) possible way). I'm a Libra, I appreciate any attention, even if manufactured, or not.

Actually, the staff here is really kind. They sent over three different waitresses to us. I'm not entirely sure why. We were rather kind, polite, friendly and what have you. Shift changes? Oh well, all three were delightful, prompt, friendly, and provided excellent service.

I actually didn't eat, but from memories of being here in the past, I would recommend these items:
    -chicken Alfredo (low calorie)
    -french dip
-anything so you can get their fries
    -florentine ravioli
    -pesto shrimp pizza

Or, order anything else that tickles your fancy. It's all been delicious.

Simply put, it's a good atmosphere, with clean, well dressed, attractive people. The service is good. The food is tasty. It's been this way for as long as I can remember. I'll take it.

Where did the 's' go on JOEY('s)?

My group and I had ANOTHER great experience here! I have been to this location multiple times and I would say that is it my favorite out of all the locations. Great fast service and good food. I love the daily specials too. I finally got to enjoy the outdoor patio now that it has gotten nice and sunny outside!

On a warm sunny day in Bellevue, lunch on the back patio of Joey hits the spot. However, take away all of that sunshine and you have yourself a lackluster meal. I don't like to concentrate too much on service unless it is really notably poor, so I will just advise you to be wary of coming if you are on a strict timetable for a workday lunch.

Other than the slow service (note: everyone at our table ordered salads), the food itself was overpriced and sub-par. The Sashimi Salad was $17 and in no way reflected a $17 salad. There were 5 small pieces of tuna sashimi, greens, a few slices of avocado, and two wedges of tomato. Per the description and price, I was expecting a salad filled with mango, avocado, and sashimi. I am pretty realistic in my price points, but even for me this was a large stretch. One of my colleagues ordered the same sashimi salad as myself but substituted in grilled salmon. If I were to go again and order that same salad, I would definitely make that substitution. Being a small-framed female, the size of the salad was just enough to make me feel like I had a light lunch. If you are aiming at having a true meal, I would suggest ordering something more.

On a positive note, they do have gluten-free/vegetarian options. The GF/V menu is pretty slim and mostly modifications of their current menu, but it is still nice to have those options. While I am not a fan of soy-based meat alternatives, the soy chicken isn't too bad. Overall, I would probably come back solely for the atmosphere on a sunny day. The food was okay, just very overpriced for what you are actually receiving (in regards to the salads).

First time there last night...hip style. Was only in the bar. Drinks on the expensive side but you expect that from Bellevue. We wanted an appetizer, bartender Alexia suggested the shrimp pesto pizza...it was fantastic.  Can't say anything about the rest of the menu, but here is my take:
The drinks are done well, the pizza was great and the service from Alexia was over and beyond the call of duty. She had a full bar but still made sure our drinks were full, the food was acceptable and held a conversation that extended beyond the job of a server/bartender. If I could rate the service only they would get a 5 star rating.

This place was hopping at 8:30 on a Thursday night, but we were lucky to get one of the few open seats without a wait.  It was pretty energetic (happily I wasn't there expecting a quiet romantic dinner) but conversation was still possible without feeling like I was yelling or being yelled at.

The server was friendly and accommodating of my annoying dietary restrictions, and the kitchen put together a slightly modified version of their Beach Salad that was just as good as you'd hope a $16 salad to be.

I'm not really into "the scene" and JOEY seemed to be a little bit of The Scene.  On the other hand, maybe everyone is into the Beach Salad as much as I was; I know I've thought about going back for it a few times since then.

My husband and I love Joeys.  There have been a couple occasions where the food has come out cold.  When we speak to them about it they promptly take care of the problem.  Their nachos are fabulous!!!  The drink specials rock.

Just another hip, chainy, restaurant with OK food and not so great service... at least in the bar and especially during happy hour after work.  By 9 PM, most of downtown Bellevue goes dead.  It's in a convenient location within walking distance from Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square.

I usually get the fish tacos or chicken lettuce wrap.  The food is not mind blowing amazing, but decent for bar food.  They have good stiff drinks though.

Joey's does have a reputation for being called "Hoey's".   I swear I didn't make up the name, but that's what some people I know refer to it as.

If you have ever been to the Seattle Joey's location, this will disappoint. For some reason everything about the Bellevue Joey's is one step below the other locations - the food, the service, the ambiance... Joey's in Bellevue is just a place I end up when other places are full. Nothing terrible to say about it - it's just not anything special.

So if it was last year when they actully had a full bar I would giv them 5 stars but what kind of restaurant takes Patron off the bar!  My husband and I will never go back due to this...even though their service/food and Bloody Mary's are great!

This place is 3 stars for the food. 1 star for the quite alarmingly good looking servers they have..

I know I know.. bash on.. but seriously.. what's wrong with enjoying a meal served to you by friendly and attractive people?  can't hurt right?

The food is alright, the bar is better than the sit down area b/c the TVs add to the attraction.

Decent happy hour, and daily specials..  but really, if you have a choice, eat at the bar, and enjoy the view... (the TVs people!)

I can't get enough of the ahi tuna club; seared ahi topped with bacon, two onion rings,  arugula and some sort of sweet "relish."  The flavors all work well together.

At $16.50 it is a little pricey, but hey, this is one awesome sandwich.

This is a review of JOEY Bellevue as a lunch time establishment. I have not eaten there for dinner. Nor have I spent any time in the bar.

I imagine learning to speak English is a very difficult task. Consider if you will, trying to master words that are pronounced the same but spelled differently, regional colloquialisms, idioms and double entendres. It's amazing to me that ESL students aren't walking around in a state of perpetual confusion.

For example, if I was hypothetically speaking to someone just learning English about JOEY Bellevue and said, "That place is a real meat market." How might my statement be understood?

Might my conversation partner assume I'm talking about the delicious French Dip sandwich I had for lunch recently? It was, after all, stacked high with perfectly prepared roast beef between a tasty house baked bun. One could certainly understand how that might be praise that I'm heaping on my sandwich. Or, might that person be familiar with the more lascivious meaning? The statement would certainly need to be qualified, because, frankly, as the person who hypothetically spoke it, I'm not even sure which meaning I was referring to.

But, since I was there for a business lunch, let's take the higher ground.

Situated in the heart of Bellevue, JOEY Bellevue fits in perfectly with Kemper Freeman's utopian vision for the city. The restaurant is immaculate, the food is upscale and the staff, particularly the young female waitresses (there are no men working the floor), are exceptionally attractive, full of smiles and adept at their jobs. Undoubtedly to Freeman's great satisfaction, the restaurant is far too upscale for the great unwashed masses that may someday flood Bellevue once the dreaded light rail arrives (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F12BvLzK&s=7ceeafec8ee1f4deddf043ce92a1a2457dd169987df60543cf541b5c5c98f0e8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://bit.ly/12BvLzK</a>).

Working in downtown Bellevue I do have the occasion to go out for business lunches from time-to-time and JOEY Bellevue is terrific for these types of meetings -- particularly because the tab will be going on an expense account. Here is the tab from a lunch which I recently had with one other person:

    House Salad $6.00
    Small Soup $6.00
    Souvlaki $13.50
    French Dip $17.00
    Coffee $3.00
    Sub total $45.50
    Tax $4.32
    Tip $9.00
    Total $58.82

On an expense account, that's still pretty pricey for a lunch, but probably isn't going to get too much scrutiny. If, on the other hand, it was just the two of us having a casual lunch, i.e. paying out of our own pockets, that would be an untenable amount to spend. So that's sort of the line of demarcation for JOEY Bellevue. Yes, it's good -- maybe 3.5 stars good -- but I would only go there within specific constraints such as a business lunch.

    Health Department Report
I've decided to add records from the King County Department of Public Health to my restaurant reviews because most people don't even know these records are available. Food safety inspections at JOEY Bellevue have been something of a mixed bag. There last three scores going back to April 2012 are 80, 0 and 50. Seems like they should be able to be more consistent than that. Having gone to this location multiple times now, I can safely post an objective review.

JOEY is a great spot to pop in for a drink, however cocktails are a hit and miss and always tend to be too sweet. I do remember a St. Germain cocktail on the summer menu that was delish and refreshing.

Outdoor patio is a great way to enjoy a warm summer evening.

As far as food: not a single item on the menu has ever been a huge standout. As with many chain establishments, you will get consistency, but this isn't a place for a foodie. Chicken wings were really dry, and even the rotisserie chicken dish was dry. Salads are large and flavorful. I usually grab a gluten free version of the ahi tuna salad, with dressing on the side. Dressing tends to be really tangy and sweet if you drown the whole dish in it, but on the side it's perfect.

Solid upscale ambiance and consistently good service still make JOEY a good option for a quick bite on the east side.

P.S. JOEY gets a huge plus for a gluten free menu!

I went here recently for a work party lunch and had an OKAY experience. There was a total of seven of us and we were put in the very back right corner at a table. Our server was very nice, but it took him awhile to check on us when we had been ready to order for awhile.

Food and apps were pretty good, the guy next to me got a steak and it smelled amazing. They also have really awesome reusable take home bags that are like the ones you buy for your groceries.

I have always heard that you have to be babealicious to work at Joey's and I definitely saw that in the staff. I had a nice time but this place seemed a little expensive. Basically, I wasn't wowed but it wasn't bad.

Well first of all, they don't exactly hire ugly people. Scratch that, men. Thats because they don't hire men. They only hire young, pretty girls. The problem is, they ONLY hire based on looks, not on brains. The waitresses are pretty slow in the bar area and always seem to have other things on their minds. The service could be better in the bar.

The food is great. Consistently good and fresh. Their drinks are creative and fun. They do have a good wine and beer list too. I'd say the biggest downfall is really the service. Its not terrible but it could be better and more customer oriented. Sometimes it feels like the girls don't pay attention to a table of girls, only a table of businessmen who they are more likely to get a better tip from.

    My first visit.

There's no ignoring the elephant in the room. This place is all about the eye candy. Lot's of it. Curvy, young, pretty, poured into black dresses with a healthy offering of cleavage. I say...Let the big elephant trumpet!

A energetic place. Good seating (bar, lounge and dining room), large screens in the lounge (follow the game but you're not going to hear it), a generous beer and liquor selection and good food. The spicy edamame was a nice starter. I had a decent petite filet that arrived with a small portion of mashes potatoes and seasonal veggies (I would have preferred creamed spinach).

When I'm back in Bellevue, I'll be at JOEY.

"Oh, I am so craving a salad today," said no one ever.

The only appropriate time to eat a salad as your meal is when you walk into your own kitchen, and you get a migraine thinking of how to combine fifty random ingredients together in any other way like the ones on your boards on Pinterest.

My unsolicited advice to you is to just overlook the salad section at Joey completely. I made this mistake, ordering the beach salad, thinking I was going to turn into Pamela Anderson (Baywatch era). Yeah, as if, right? I left hungrier than when I had entered, yet full with regrets that I didn't order something more satisfying. Instead, aim for the burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers.

At the moment, it's not on the menu because I guess it's seasonal, but I swear by their Nirvana Burger. This was previously known as the Question Mark Burger, and they held a naming contest for some time. My suggestion to name it Blueberry Yum Yum didn't make the cut, sadly. Made with a combination of jack and cheddar cheese, jalapeños, hot sauce, and likely a whole tub of lard, I guarantee that this burger will have your serotonin levels jet-packing itself up to the sky. This burger brings a lot of confusion--should I dive right into it, or should I take my time to nibble at it? Each bite is not unlike rediscovering your life calling over and over again. It is packed with flavor, and it remains a mystery to me in terms of recreating it.

I would second anyone's suggestion to also try their Baja Fish Tacos. Arguably, it isn't the best fish taco I have had, but it's still something that I would order from here. You're served three tacos in soft corn tortillas on a stylish taco holder. I also love their Mediterranean Pizza, although it's more in the style of a flatbread. This is my ideal carbohydrate high when I want one; their pizza here trumps that of their competitors like Palomino and Earls down the road. Spinach and artichoke dip? Yes, please.

For Bellevue fare, this is a good spot to catch up with friends or have a meet-up with colleagues because the food is going to take a while to get to you. The atmosphere is more business casual versus the sweatpants hanging so far down that you can see your underwear and wifebeaters. That really won't pass anywhere in Bellevue, unless you're at PF Chang's maybe. Yes, Joey does attract a crowd of business men (particularly during weekday lunch time) who think they are way more important than they actually are. I don't let this deter me from coming to visit because this place is spacious enough to turn my back to this obnoxiousness.

I've always had good service out of the many times I have been here because I worked in Bellevue. They refill what needs to be refilled in a timely fashion. They are open late on weekends, unlike most places that close at 11 PM, which is a bonus. Lincoln Square parking is also validated here. Don't be that idiot* who parks at Bellevue Square and then walks in the rain to get here.

    *Totally me.

Just across from the Hyatt Regency driveway, opens late till 2am.

Flew in, checked in. 10pm. Asked the front desk and they pointed straight to Joeys. Quite late, so I just wanted something light.

They have a pretty good menu. Had a cup of the mushroom soup and the baja fish tacos. My meal tasted great.

I think the draw here is more the servers. Every server I saw is eye candy: pretty, most of them blond, and their uniform is black, tight and slightly low cut. I think this restaurants targets guys. Kind of like a upscale Hooters, as some other reviewer mentioned.

This place has two sides, on one side the bar with high bar tables and the other, a sit-down restaurant.

Double slush Long Island iced teas!!! Went twice in three days because they were that good!

Sat in the restaurant side both times and service was great. Munched on some ahi tuna tacos, good but a bit pricey.

Tried the market salad which had killer presentation and taste.

At the Southcenter location I've also tried the burgers. Feel like they are overpriced but delicious.

Just returned from a conference at the Hyatt and ate here twice during the week...for lunch only.  The Ahi Tuna Salad with mango and peanuts was outstanding...so much so I had it both times.

More than anything the place was convenient, nice outdoor seating despite being in the Hyatt's driveway.  Some construction is going on now so if you show up before 1200 or after 1300 you are going to hear some noise.

Staff is very attentive and it's apparent who they hire and why they hire them...as a few other reviewers alluded to.  Nothing wrong with that.  Made me miss girl back home more though!

if I'm ever back in Bellevue, wouldn't think twice about lunch there again.

Can't give more than 3 stars since I've only been there twice and had same meal.  But my guess is they deserve 4.

Came in on a late Friday night... The service sucked! Nobody was friendly.  And the place was pretty packed.

    Drinks were average...

My sister and I split the gyozas (which again were pretty average)

Each of us also ordered a sushi cone which was the only thing I liked here... especially that it was only $3.50

Not a fan of Joeys... would rather spend my money on a better experience!

I've been many times and I wasn't a fan previously, but now I'm enjoying it!  Why you ask?  The customer service has improved like you wouldn't believe!  I used to complain left and right to anyone who would listen because the service was so bad!  My friend wanted to have his birthday dinner here so I made it happen despite the previous bad experiences I've had, and I'm glad I did!  The food was never a problem as everything always tasted great, the ambiance is nice, and the decor is cool.

The hostess is cute (yes I'm a female, and I'm commenting on their looks) and super nice!  She helped me with the birthday cake, was patiently waiting while I tried to figure out where we wanted to sit (bar vs. dining room) and got me seated right away.  The servers were all really nice and prompt for the most part.  We had no problems in the dining room (she left the check too early though... that was awkward) but we had trouble finding a server in the bar.  O'well.  It's still a good enough experience that I'll be back!

sooooo, with that said, I would recommend going here for some after work cocktails :) well if you're in bellevue. I wouldn't drive here if I were visiting seattle for these things because seattle has wayyyy more to offer than a restaurant with pretty girls and measured drinks.

I thought this was a decent place.

They have a gluten free menu that has tasty options.  4 stars just for that.

I ate at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly and social.  It was a nice place for me to hang out on a Sunday night.

    Like: NOT THE SERVICE.

    o.m.g.

I just had a TWO HOUR LUNCH. It was ridiculous. AND it's a work day! And like most employed citizens in the general Bellevue area, I have a ONE HOUR LUNCH PERIOD. We sat in the bar area and it took about 30 minutes for them finally take our order. We had two other guests meeting us for lunch and by the time they got there it was at the 45 minute mark and they placed their orders as well. By the time it hit an hour.. we FINALLY got our food and they apologized for our lunch taking so long and blamed it on the crispy mashed potatoes. Our dishes came out with the rest of our parties dishes. I was starving at this point. This is why I am giving them ONE STAR.

I've been here on numerous occasions, usually in the bar area, and another thing that I don't like is that they rip you off on the drinks. I usually order a glass of scotch on the rocks and they almost ALWAYS pretty much fill my glass up about an inch full of liquor, and that's WITH ice. It's also a bit pricier than most places, so I wouldn't come here for drinks unless you're prepared to spend lots of money NOT getting wasted.

Okay, now I'll say nice things:

Our food, however, was great. Whenever I go to Joey's, I order the Balsamic Braised Beef Short Ribs and I usually sub the Mashed Potatoes with the Crispy Mashed Potatoes because I absolutely love them. It's like a Mashed Potato Lumpia.. that item alone is absolute genius. We also ordered the Baja Fish Tacos. This was the first time I've ordered this dish at Joeys and I was surprisingly impressed. It was full of flavor and very delicious.

The ambiance of Joey's is great. Very classy. Very trendy. Their Bar Menu always changes out with interesting graphics and sometimes helpful yet funny facts. The waitresses here are always very pretty (as most of you who've been to Joey's, you all know that they only hire beautiful women).. a big part of the reason why I seem to always dine here with male friends.. for the view. Also, they have TONS of TV's. It is TV'S GALORE in their bar area. This is a perfect environment for the average heterosexual male.

Overall, I think I'd prefer to sit in the dining area, rather than the bar. I've never had a great experience sitting at the bar. Ripped off on drinks and bad service. Other than that, I'll still come here to order the Crispy Mashed Potatoes.

Oh! One last thing! They used to serve this Banana Bread Pudding that was SOOOOOO delicious, and I used to come here JUST to eat that dish. They no longer serve it. Thumbs down, Joey's. :(

Nijo's in Pioneer Square also has Excellent Banana Bread Pudding. That is where I go for Banana Bread Pudding now. That, and El Gaucho's.

    After work drinks

This not exactly my speed, but came here to meet for drinks/apps with an old roommate and some colleagues. The service came with a big bright smile, but the atmosphere was a bit noisy. Some radio show happened to be hosting an event while we were here, and about 50% of the patrons were ignoring the show. The lettuce wraps had very little chicken in the serving and too much shredded chinese veggie on top which ultimately made a mess and did not make for a polite item to eat in front of people I work with. If I could rate this place based on service alone I would have given it the full five stars. These girls really seem to try hard.

    Date Rating: 3
    Pick up Scale: 4

Strong Suggestion: have a beer, and don't come here with your hearing aid turned up.

I love to make fun of all the young, bimbo waitresses they hire here. They turn the heat way up in side so the waitresses can stay warm while wearing less. Its just so obviously funny.
I havent been in here for a while but they have DEFINTELY increased their prices because I know the Viva Salad is not a $15 salad normally. I was going to get some calamari for an app but refused to pay $11 for a small deep fried APPETIZER!
The food is good, over priced for what you get and the service is hit or miss. You win some, you lose some.

They're currently renovating their dining area, so only their open seating bar area is open for dining. I was with my friends Friday night, and we were a party of 7, so we had to wait a bit for a table large enough for our party. Even then, it was a tight squeeze. But that's not the reason why I'm giving them 3 stars.

I ordered the "Thai Lover" martini, and it was pretty good. For my entree, I ordered the ahi tuna club sandwich, and the tuna was almost fully cooked. Not acceptable. It was still good, but I think there was too much going on in the sandwich: onion rings, bacon, red pepper relish, and arugula. I could hardly taste the tuna.

However, our friends love this place, so we may come back to try the other entrees (though I'd probably stay away from the burgers/sandwiches).

Also, I felt the service was a bit snobby. Our waitress was friendly, but the other waitresses were a bit rude, especially when we were figuring out our seating arrangement. I felt like we were unwanted. Fortunately, that's not something I'd dwell on, but it did initially bother me.
