*Bartenders - really good. Couldn't decide on a cocktail, asked for advice - made a drink which exactly fit the bill. They were friendly and when you're alone in a foreign city-that's a good thing!
*Had tomato and basil soup with a caeser dressing. The dressing was homemade and warm when served. parmesan was good and flaked with pumpkin seeds on top.
*I stayed in georgetown for a couple weeks and was honestly thinking this place was too classy for me. Its a nice mix of classy food, good eats, great drinks, and low key atmosphere. The clientele was a good mix...
I drank (while in town for work) at other establishments at the block, and enjoyed this most. Full picture.
I was happy! Recommended.
Enjoyed a few tasty beers with the falafel burger. That sandwich packs a lot of flavor into a non meat patty with jalapeno fire and topped with cooling tzatziki and feta. YUM! Served with a generous side of seasoned tots, I had a happy tummy for sure! My husband loved his Georgetown Cheesesteak sandwich and manged to eat all of his tots plus half of mine. Our bartender was great and even put an orange slice on my blonde ale since they don't have a hef on tap.
Review Source:hey, this is a great place to land and catch up with friends. Â supposedly the oldest bar in seattle, it's all brick and open inside. Â it has a stage for a band and a long bar to sit at. Â it's not fancy pants, just a great divey place.
there's a nice little menu of eats, too! Â we had a plate of pork wings and the pork stew. Â the pork wings, aka ribs, were a little dry but flavorful and i loved the pork stew (which was like a bowl of good chili). Â i almost didn't want to share any of the stew. Â
it's very laid back and i can tell you that i'm going to be coming back.
I started off with the shepherd's pie. It was good but I was feeling especially fat that St. Patrick's Day so I ordered a corned beef sandwich. Delicious. I fought through the pain of feeling full and ate it all, washing it down with two beers.
The setup seemed pretty cool and I guess it's the oldest bar in Seattle? I'd make the trip up just to go to this bar, but it'd be on an off-time so I wouldn't have to deal with any crowds and such. I don't think it'd be as fun if I had to wait for service there.
My husband and I have had a couple meals here and their food is very good. Their appetizer called 'Flatliner,' (tatertots, cheese, onions, bell peppers and sour cream) is so generous you won't want a meal! Â The Whiskey Burger is delicious as was their steak sandwich. Â Beer to suit every taste and of course mine is Georgetown Brewery, Manny's Pale Ale. Â Somewhat of a dive bar, but blue collar comfort and mood.
Review Source:Dear Jules Maes. I think I love you. We hit up this spot as I was schlepping my cousin to the airport on St. Patty's day. Â It was a last minute stop because we thought it would be cool to tip one back in honor of my grandfather whose last name was "Maes". Bottom line: Great, understated, authentic bar-ly goodness. Â The bartender was nice and wasn't too busy to chat us up. Â The beer was cold and local. Â The well drinks, were stiff and artfully poured without any fluffy pretense. All in all, it felt like I had come home. Â The food looked delicious, my only regret was not being able to try it. Â I will be back and I'll be bringing some more family!
Review Source:I have to kick this one back up. Â I am not sure if anything has changed but gave it another try and very happy. Â I had the gorgonzola chicken and it was very good. Â Of course had some tator tots on the side which are always a good thing here. Â Service was good and everyone happy with what they ordered.
Review Source:Dear Jules:
What has happened in the last year?
Your service has plummeted.
Your menu has changed and is not as delicious.
The wait staff, once so nice and down to earth, have been replaced with stuck up hipsters. I know it pains you to do your job but do it dammit or I'm not coming back.
Love,
Me.
Very nice time and good food, overall.... Â Had early Sunday lunch, and sat in the sunny street-side window table -- afforded a good view of the 1880's era interior (wood; antlers; exposed beams and brick) and the people passing by, looking at the old Rainier Brewing and Malting Co. edifice across the street. Felt like I stepped back in time. Â The "Porter" sandwich and fries were very good; crusty bread was fresh and perfect for the meal. Â Friendly and efficient waitress (Chelsea). Â Be sure to visit the back room: pinball, pool, air hockey, ping pong; also check out the architecture and old timey photos. Â Â Will definitely be back, next time we are on a stroll thru the slowly evolving Georgetown neighborhood (said the 60-something hipsters, relics of a different time themselves!).
Review Source:Just wanted to leave a shout to our waitress here last night. Â The super hot one with the black hair. Â It was my 30th birthday party and we had a reallllly big group. Â We stopped here just by chance and had the best service. Â Lots of separated checks, people dropping in randomly and leaving randomly and we still didn't have any issues with service or crazy check total anomalies. Â This doesn't happen in real life. Â Ever. Â But it happened at Jules Maes!
Review Source:I really dig this spot. I've always been here late when I have few other options and it's been pretty empty. This is actually a good safety feature for other potential clients as they won't have to fear my dinosaur-style eating tactics. I start to smell the kitchen here and I go all tylosaurus on ish! Rawr!
I've had a pretty grand burger here, amazingly delicious fries and tots (get some tachos and you'll love me forever) and one of the most amazing Philly cheesesteaks ever. Seriously... I have dreams about this cheesesteak. She's wearing some nice lingerie, all spicy and hot, just a little steamy... let's just say I like my Philly cheesesteaks like I like my action movies. Full of the good stuff, not too serious, a little messy and ready to explode!
An eating experience at Jules Maes makes my tummy squids happy. They get to grapple with all manner of down right delectable noshings, I get to have a few minutes of docile tummy squids and the world is safe from the inter-dimensional rift in my stomach.
The service here is always quick but never overly friendly which is cool. As long as you take my order quickly and I get to eat in a fast-ish time table I'm cool with you not wanting to chit chat. That just means I'm more prepared for the epic feast coming my way. So, thank you!
If you're in the area and need some hardy food to fill up the beasts living in your stomach this is your spot.
I'm a fan!
Stopped by after work for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. Â Decent selection of local brews and the menu looked great. Â We ordered the Philly sandwich and the Vietnamese-inspired sandwich (sorry, can't remember what it's called). Â The Philly was good, but not outstanding. Â The other sandwich...wow. Â Great combination of flavors.
It can get noisy, but they don't call it "happy hour" for nothing. Â I enjoyed the dim atmosphere and big wooden tables.
Bottom line: We will be back.
Well, uh, hello my little ravioli!
I went in without very high hopes I admit, although I did get invited by the lovely and charming Cynthia L so I should have known it'd be bangin'.
We grabbed a booth and I had heard 'tots, tots, tots' so I ... wait...
this menu has real food.
Like really good food.
I had rabbit stuffed ravioli with wild boar ragu sauce. Â I didn't order it, but because I ended up knowing our kick ass and great server, we got to chatting and she intuited that I wanted it anyway. Â So when she brought that instead of the duck flautas I SAID I wanted, I was actually happy as could be.
Oh, no, thank you, don't you dare take this off the table... I almost bit her hand.
It was scrumptious and for the price? GET OUT. SHUT THE DOOR.
It was awesome. My new go-to spot in Georgetown fer sure.
I went in on January 11th looking forward to having a night of drinking and games with my friends and the bartender literally turned away myself and a dozen customers at 11:50pm saying they were closing at midnight! Â What bar in Georgetown closes at midnight on a Friday night when there are a dozen thirsty customers wanting to give them their business?! Â I love this place, but don't feel comfortable going in the evenings if I'm just going to get kicked out at midnight.
Review Source:All's I gotta say is, "What the flauta?"
Jules Mae's new ownership is totally taking the flauta and running with it. It's my second time in after the change in menu and have to say that I am even a BIGGER fan of them than I was before!
When somebody describes the bar scene in Georgetown, this is the first place that always comes to mind. You've all heard that the tater tots are good here, particularly the "Flatliner" app which is basically a bathtub-sized plates of tots covered in cheese, sour cream, green onions and bacon. Somebody take away my man-card and hand me a purse. I used to be able to kill a whole plate of these myself, but this whole "watching how much I eat thing" has really limited my ability to spank rich food like I used to.
The Philly-style chicken sandwich (new) was good, could maybe use a teesy bit more seasoning. But the DUCK FLAUTA was so SO good! You know how good Taco Time's fried chicken burrito is? It's that good, and is presented in somewhat the same fashion--all rolled up. Served on a bed of greens, drizzled with some green creaminess, it was a perfect dish except for the odd soft plaintain dish on the side. I love plaintains..but not the way they prepared them. Maybe plaintain chips the next time, 'round Jules Mae? There was SO much shredded duck in the flauta!
I love coming in here for lunch or at night. The service used to be edgy--bordering on unpleasantness sometimes, but it seems to have turned the corner there. It's really, really dark in here, which doesn't make it gloomy, just really saloon-y. Prices are good, so have a pitcher of Manny's (or two!)
I really like it.
This is not a noisy sports bar.
Let's not wondering about the calories today. The potato tots are addictive. They are not greasy, not too salty, but just right amount. Good with good cold local beer!
The service was naturally friendly. Somewhat the place made me feel like I'm in a pub in a small town in Midwest somewhere on the road trip...or time slip...may be because no huge flat screen TV on the wall which is very good thing.
Good atmosphere, interesting decorations.
Next time, I'll go on Wednesday for $11/pitcher whole day.
Hope the place won't change...
What's not to like? Â While Jules Maes no longer offers live music (a side effect of legislation requiring retrofit of fire suppression equipment, which would be too expensive to justify for the type of shows this venue once hosted), it now fills the former concert space (the back of the saloon, just keep walking past the restrooms) with ping pong, air hockey, a variety of pinball machines, and a pool table. Â
The food is surprisingly excellent, I particularly enjoy the buffalo burger (with a side of piping hot tots, natch). Â Variety of entree salads, sandwiches, and full entrees (don't forget to flip the menu over). Â It's rarely packed to the rafters, even on a weekend night, but also rarely deserted. Â The crowd is fairly typical for Georgetown. Â A little older than Capitol Hill, and a fair amount more relaxed. Â
I've always had good service here, either sitting at the bar or at a table/booth. Â I recently forgot my kind-of-expensive sunglasses at a table on a Monday evening. Â When I called on Thursday to ask about them, the person answering the phone remembered finding them (she was our server on Monday), and even asked what time I'd be coming by so that she could let her replacement know where to find the sunglasses. Â It's a little thing, but thoughtful.
Regarding the drinks -- the bartenders squeeze fresh juice for mixed drinks, which are very good but not holy-crap-craft-cocktail good. Â If that's what you're looking for, the Zig Zag Cafe, Canon, and Tavern Law have your back. Â That said, I tend to stick to the super fresh Georgetown Brewing selections that are on tap.
There is a free lot behind the building, but it does fill up. Â Parking usually isn't bad, I've never had to park more than a block away. Â There's a bus stop right in front if you're taking public transportation.
Jules Maes is comfortable and fun, and isn't trying too hard, just hard enough. Â It's just about my favorite pub in Seattle.
(food 4 stars, service 3)
We work about 1 mile north of here, so have frequented this place for lunch. Excellent food, but have waited way too long for the initial service a handful of times. Lunch rush is, well, a rush, so we try to go a little before or after the normal time. My fav is the meatloaf sandwich, and of COURSE the tots! Always the tots!
I also love the communal tables, excellent for an after work happy hour with a group.
I have been dreaming about the bacon cheeseburger at Jules Maes all week! Â I think they might have ruined me for all other bacon cheeseburgers from now on! hehehehehe
Staff is really friendly, the space is cool. Â I miss them having live music though. Â Good selection of drafts, and most of their juice is fresh squeezed in front of you! Can you say Greyhound? YUM!!!!
And now they have ping pong! Yep, Im sold.
The food is good but that's about the only thing I enjoy about this place.
The service can be hit or miss even when it's not busy.
Most of the time, from what I've heard, this is an above average place with good food and decent atmosphere. However, I have had several bad experiences with the staff and patrons here. On two separate occassions I've actually been told to leave by other customers. They started prattling on about how I don't belong there and that my type of people aren't welcome there. I don't think he was referring to my race, although I rarely see Asians in there. Naturally, I told them to fuck off or meet me and my knife outside.
As I mentioned earlier, the service can be hit or miss regardless of how busy they are but here's what really got to me. I reported the first of my two incidents with customers to the staff and they casually shrugged it off and told me it wasn't their problem.
Also, as if that weren't bad enough, one of the waitresses has mistaken me for a girl not once but twice. Sure I have long hair, but bitch you looked at my license twice. Get your shit together.
If pretentious douchebags had a place to call their own, this would be their Cheers.
Went to Jules Mae's for happy hour last night with some co-workers. Â We had a good time! Â I'd heard a lot about the place, but I'd never been in. Â
The food was gooooood. Â I had the Turkey, Bacon, Swiss and it was pretty dang tasty. Â Nice, thick bacon and plenty of sliced turkey. Â I'd definitely come back and have it again. Â The tots were quite good as well. Â I almost wished I'd had the fries though because they looked delicious too. Â I wonder if they'd do half tots/half fries in the future? Â Had a couple of vodka tonics as well. Â They were pretty strong, which was nice. Â Wells are $3.50 at happy hour.
Service was okay. Â A bit slow and not exactly friendly at times, but it was decent enough.
Next time I'll have to check out their game room - sounds like fun.
After a recent visit to Jules with some friends, I was inspired to review it. The food was so good, we were very pleased with our decision to visit Jules instead of get pizza. We tried the Rueben, the cheesesteak and the chicken fried steak. Each option was delicious, very tasty meat. Bar food but so much better than what you'd get at your average bar.
A great selection of Georgetown brews on tap, and a classic interior.
An interesting fact, I once lived upstairs from Jules Maes for a month. That said, I haven't been to Jules as often as I should have. I still work nearby, and this visit may have me coming back more often.
This place is awesome! Has an old-school feel, just like a SALOON. In the back is air hockey and pool table.
Came here for lunch after my boss raved about their tater tots. He said everything he's tried, he's liked. So I had to come check out the place for myself.
I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was good. Beef brisket with pickled red cabbage on rye, plus a nice serving of tasty basil tomato soup!
A little dark and for 21+, but ya gotta try this place!
My buddy and I stopped here for the first time for some Friday night beers and this place is pretty cool! I really like the historical background that this bar has and I also like how they preserve it by keeping some of the original artifacts.
We only tried the beer (Manny's in da housseee) but the food smelled really good. The cook was busy making all sorts of different dishes and the next time I come here I will for sure check it out.
So today was just one of those days. I've been sick for whole week and all I could eat was soup and half the time I could barely taste anything. I was tired of not being able to eat anything but soup. I had a craving for some tater tots and suddenly remembered a story my sister and brother in law told me about these loaded tots.
Hours went by before I was finally able to get to Jules Maes Saloon and by that time I was exhausted and HUNGRY! So I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered their World Famous Flatliner to go. The flatliner consists of cheese, onions, tomatoes, parsley, peppers, sour cream, bacon and of course tator tots. I couldn't wait to go home so I snuck a bite in the car. I grabbed a tot that looked like it had everything on it and it was amazing! Oh my God! Never before had a tot been so good. The combination of the ingredients was like a party in my mouth.
Remember when Harold and Kumar finally got to White Castle or when Charlie Sheen was winning? Â That's how I felt today when I had the first bite and keep in mind I haven't been able to taste anything all week. These loaded tots are definitely the best damn tater tots I have ever had period...
Show me your tots! Â And your dip!
Had the prime rib dip with a side of their tater tots for lunch. Â I was craving a hot sandwich packed with meat today and I felt like this really hit the spot. Â I love meat.
I don't love tots as much as the other people do, but if you're a totty-lover, I know that this is the place for it!
The restaurant really does have that old Georgetown feel and I think that's what gives it its charm. Â Walked into a "saloon" and it felt a little bit like what you'd expect from the movies. Â A little old, a little run down, but who needs to jazz a place up when the food is what brings the people in? Â Lights could be a little brighter though so I can take some food porn with my no-flash camera phone.
I was hungry after work and called them to find out last kitchen call - just missed it! Still decided to stop by, check 'er out and have a few drinks. They didn't have mint and this dude next to me suggested a good fall-back-on I'd forgotten about: a whiskey ginger.
For future reference, the bartender recommended atleast the lamb burger and chicken fried steak for food. Cool place and would likely return.
A funky, cool old institution in a neighborhood that's fast reviving. Georgetown these days reminds me of what Capitol Hill and Belltown used to be like, lots of cool and interesting businesses taking hold for the first time in some pretty dilapidated old buildings, mixed in with some classic old names that have been around for decades. Jules Maes is one of the stately old anchors here, and it seems to be benefiting greatly from the Georgetown Renaissance.
I've been meaning to visit JM's for years and years, and it seems silly that it's taken so long. I wish I could say for sure that I knew it wasn't changing much, but I can't say that with any real authority. It doesn't appear to be anything but a great old place to look at what's there--a great old barback (really pretty, and always a huge draw for me), hatch cover picnic tables, old booths, old light fixtures. The floors are uneven. The tiles are those cool old hexagonal subway tiles. You really feel like you've stepped back in time here, especially by Seattle standards.
The staff is super, super nice. Very friendly and attentive and cool. The food is great, and the beer list is solid. Just a few handles, and largely focused on Georgetown Brewing, but that's great by me. The bartenders seemed to be mixing up some wicked cocktails for their cocktail-drinking patrons.
Overall, a legendary watering hole. There were more professional types in the back, and hard-working joes with airfield jobs hanging out in the front room. A great neighborhood meeting spot--for everyone in the neighborhood. Definitely be back.
Jules Mae, I'm assuming you're a girl. Â Regardless of sex, you saved the day!
After a rough experience in Columbia City (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/lotties-lounge-seattle#hrid:nTlYmtL0gVYPgRrZNQNc_w">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a>), we sauntered down to Georgetown to try and get our day back on track, and the ole saloon came through in spades!
We were a little traumatized from our last service experience, so I must admit being on edge when our server approached us (I might have jumped in my seat when she said, "What can I get for ya?"). Â But yes, we confided in her and she prescribed us a round of brews. Â Yes, we're better.
Their menu, exhaustive. Â Their offerings, unique. Â My choice: Â Buffalo Burger (and I think some of you may know why).
The food was excellent. Â The beer selection was decent. Â The space is very cool with a huge dark wood bar. Â It DOES feel very saloon like. Â In the back there are a couple of game rooms complete with old school video games (yes, please!). Â I also actually thought their tiled-floor bathroom was pretty dope as well. Â The clientelle were unique and offered excellent people-watching options.
Overall, a solid 4.5, but because they erased our Columbia City fiasco from our minds, I have to give prescribe perfect props to them in return.
It's like overly kitchy old-west, except not on purpose in a cool way like Hula Hula is Hawaiian. It feels random, and dusty. I thought I would sneeze from the sight of things, but was able to stifle it the whole evening.
As others have stated the bartenders were rude as heck. The guy checking IDs and collecting cover at the door was cool, he seemed polite enough, but when last call rolled around and we were still wandering around the bar 20 minutes later one of the bartenders yelled out, "you guys I called last call 20 minutes ago!" I didn't realize that last call meant, "get the hell out," I thought it mean, "last call." She was not in the least way polite about it. I used nasty words to describe her afterwards.
I had only one drink, a PBR, in a can, wicked that they have that, two stars alone for that. If I'd purchased my own drink and tipped them, I would've taken my tip back after how snotty they were later on. I really wished I'd had one of those, "you've been Yelped" cards on hand to slap on the table, but I didn't.
I only went here for Will L's birthday show, and that's the only reason I'd go back.
I always seem to end up in the rear room of this place that seems like the rec room of an immortal psychopath. Â There's a ton of weird stuff back here, Highlander.
There always seems to be something happening here. Â Something weird.
The front is your average bar. Â It didn't register with me at all, so think vanilla old west.
I feel very shorted that I worked in Georgetown for a year and a half, and never got here til last weekend. This is a fun little place and actually a really good venue to watch a show at.
You walk in and you're immediately immersed in a quaint, old time pub feel. The got a full bar and Guinness on tap, I was a happy camper! :o)
If you keep walking toward the back, you pass bathrooms to your left, a pooltable to your right, and then you walk straight into a good size venue for shows with ample room for people to watch and dance, an elevated stage for the band to rock out on, and it's tucked away, so you can be out in the bar and can still carry on a conversation.
I didn't get to try the food, but it looked good, and I hope to be back at some point to try it.
Sometimes you gotta be responsible and do shit you're supposed to do.
Like wake up, get up, drag ass out of bed, and say hi to the world. Tater tots help. Read on, dear tater-tot lover, read on.
March 15th, 2008 -- the official unofficial St. Patty's Day -- was one of those days.
March 15th started for me at 12am. I was still at the Showbox, enjoying my birthday after opening up for Superdiamond and basking in the adoration of 1200 people who like Neil Diamond AND the Golden Girls.
It continued on at 2am after I got my shit loaded and entertained a group of ... well... groupies from out of town, showing them that a good time was NOT to be had at the Lusty Lady, but WAS to be had at the Noc Noc.
March 15th took a break at 5am, but it was like a rowdy water cooler break where you can hear your coworkers cracking jokes and being obnoxious from your desk and all you want to do is go join in.
March 15th continued at about 1pm when I finally gave up on sleeping and started tanking up on coffee and eggs at Geraldine's. It started treating me a little better. I could still feel all my limbs. My dog was happy I was walking him.
And then I headed out for what I was supposed to be doing that day: Rocking out Jules Mae with the Squirrels. Yeah. They're the Squirrels. We're the Nuts.
March 15th officially got back to business at 5pm, when I got to Jules Mae. I collapsed into a stool and the bar staff immediately started chatting with me, friendly like. Fucking a. I like friendly bar-staff.
I had a BLT. Sarah, the bartender who was paying extra special attention to me probably because she could tell that at any minute I was going to fall out of that stool totally unconscious, told me that Jules Mae's bacon "kicked ass." I believe bartenders when they tell me something kicks ass.
I suddenly realized that... lo and behold... TATER TOTS INSTEAD OF FRIES? I perked up. I looked at my watch.
March 15th, 5:48pm, suddenly started to click and hum. I felt my back muscles relax. I sat up a little straighter. My eyelids opened a little wider. My hands flexed. My nipples hardened. Tater tots. Tater tots within easy driving distance. I don't have to head all the way downtown for tater tots. They have them in my next-door neighborhood of Georgetown. Tater Tots. Those luscious cylinders of hashed potatoes, fried to perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Salty. The only thing that could make them better is cheese. I didn't dare ask.
My BLT came with my tater tots. They even handed me some ketchup. KETCHUP. WITH MY TATER TOTS! THANK YOU JESUS.
Sarah asked me how was my food?
"@$ELFAMNLA:WLK:" I replied, bits of fried potato-ey goodness spraying onto my plate. All I could think is, "Fuck I just wasted some of my tater tots."
They were spiced, seasoned, whatever-you-call-it. Not just salt. There was some other magical goodness sprinkled on there. Not cheese, but still fucking good.
I took a picture and sent it to my yelper-tater-tot-partner-in-crime. I had to commemorate the moment.
March 15th, 8:59pm. Our equipment set up, our sound checked, I wandered through the bar with a bullhorn and announced we were playing. People stared at me. I knew the feeling. They had Tater-Tots. To hell with the band. SEASONED TATER TOTS MAN!
We got on stage, played our set. People finished their tots and came out and cheered. I think. The light was blinding and I have no idea if anyone really was out there or if the sound guy just had canned applause because he knew everyone was addicted to their tots.
March 15th, 10pm, I outloaded my crap to my car. I grabbed my gal-pal around her lovely little waist. I tried to imagine staying awake for a few hours longer.
March 16th, 1pm. I found myself at home. I was awake. I sure as shit wasn't getting up. Thanks Jules Mae, for the cokes, the friendly banter, the blinding lights, the easy load-in/out, and most of all, the tots.
3.5 stars.
Dropped by last night for a show. Rumor had it some super kick-ass, world famous, hairy chested rock stars were opening last night. Every so often rumors are true! Great show by Stay Tuned.
The route driven there made this northend girl feel like she was in a foreign country for awhile. Georgetown still does that to me. When we pulled up and I found a place to park, the world seemed right. The power of the Truck Jam lives on, as I got  the exact same spot I had that night at the 9lb hammer. Ahhh...I know where I am!
I liked this place, the layout was good. The bartender lady was very cool and poured a quick drink. My LIT was not nearly as potent here as it was at Barca, but it did the trick.
Plenty of seating, pool table in a room in the back, then off to the show!
Nice sized room and it is set up that you can hear the music throughout the bar, but the volume is controlled if you are out front.
Good times all around. I even managed to coordinate my boobie shirt w/ that of a band member. freaky.
Ended up at this place Friday night with some friends.
Started off having food in the main dining area. Â Great food, pretty good service (they were starting to get quite busy), and super fast turn around. Â How quick we got our food was impressive. Â
Then we migrated to what I shall call the game room. Â They had a pool table, 4 pinball machines, and skee-ball! Â I love skee-ball. Â Though, the place broke my heart because the machine was out of service. Â Apparently it's normally working and had just broken down earlier that day -- I had to check because finding skee-ball I can play while drunk will definitely make me return.
We capped off the evening by wandering into the "show room." Â There was a live band playing and a handful of people enjoying it. Â It's a tiny little venue but it was nice to be in a place with decent loud music. Â Though when you sit in the dining room, the music isn't that loud at all.
It was a great place and almost like going to 3 bars in one. Â I like a place where I can bar hop by simply wandering from room to room!
