Cute coffee shop
Really cute coffee shop with plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The coffee or tea comes out on a silver tray with water and a cookie, how cute! The coffee is really good, my friend had the chai tea and she really liked hers also. A lot of choices on desserts and pastries, everything we tried was delicious. Service was nice.

Parking caddy corner to Julius is free by the library!

An occasional indulgence & guilty pleasure. Wonderful!

I came in on a Thursday at 9 am and received hands down the WORST service in history!!! This place has sooo much potential to be good IF they had some sort of management. It took 10 minutes for me to get a menu - I had to end up asking for one EVEN after the waitress and I made eye contact several times and saw me calling out for her. Thank you for making me feel like an unwanted patron just because I dined alone. It took 10 minutes to get the coffee, with the rude and in charming waitress. She made the whole dining experience awkward. I wanted a refill and had to again hunt someone down. The eggs Benedict were cold and not worth the $10. I want to love you Julius Meinl, but please work on your management and service. Train your staff!!! You should be embarrassed of the type of establishment you're running in the charming town of Lincoln square. Never again!!!!!!!! Ps you're losing customer loyalty but the horrible staff you have at this location. You're an insult to European cafes and are the most unwelcoming establishment in Chicago. Also, TESS WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
