I would love to be able to review the cruise but didn't even get to go on it. We were running late and called the place to get directions. We were lost because of the road construction on the freeway and the signage in this state is awful. I called and she made an exception for us and told us that if we got there by 6pm we could park at the box office. We got there with 5 minutes to spare and this lady who apparently thinks she's the parking police told us we couldn't park there. I told her we were allowed to but wouldn't even give me a chance to go to the box office to talk to the people there. She rudely said that we should've been here at 5:15pm. We were there on time and now we lost our $80 because of that lady. I would have loved to express myself to her and demand her to give me back my money and say a few little words to her. What is up with customer service here? The gentleman that was with her was polite. Without tourists going on that cruise, you would have no job! Some people need to rethink about how they speak to customers or potential customers. We were NEVER told by the box office to be there at 5:15pm. If we were told, then we would be there. But, this lady with blonde hair directing this parking for this cruise needs someone to retrain her or plain simple learn to be nice. It's not that hard. I enjoy my time in Florida. I just hope people who are in the service industry will rethink their job choices because customer service isn't for everyone from what I've learned here.
Review Source:The cruise was great! The captain was super...however, this review is not for that part...it's for the dinner part....ok, so two things can happen...You can do the cruise only or you can do the cruise and dinner, which is all you can eat chicken, ribs, shrimp, fries and baked beans. The alcohol cost a little extra. Â And there was a show after dinner. Â There is also a place to walk out back to see birds and such...
Ok, so we were ushered off the boat and directed into certain areas depending on the size of our party. Â Honestly, it felt a little hmmmm "cattle callish". Â Absolutely no customer service just "how many? go that way" HUH!!!!
Additionally, I did not appreciate I was told AFTER arriving at the restaurant I had to pre-order the veg meal and in a rude and unapologetic manner by some nasty hair having sweaty server. Â But I guess he gets his attitude and hair from this nasty sweaty rude bleep of a manager (using that term loosely). Â
Allow me to elaborate...I am so not the one for drama...after this guy (who's literally looking me up and down) tells me I can have a salad for $40, I laughed my way to the kitchen myself to speak to someone, anyone...as I was talking to people who were actually human, this thing jumps from the ceiling YELLING "What is it now!"...um, excuse me, last time I checked, this is NEVER the way to address any customer when there is a problem! But hey, when you have hundreds of customers a day, why worry about just one...unless she is elite yelper ; ) By the way, there were 3 others with me who hated the food just as much as I hated the experience but if you're drunk or starving, I guess this would do in a pinch.
Happy Yelping!
