I just don't understand how any of the local reviewers think Kaiser's pizza is worth eating! The pies are flavorless, poor quality pucks that compare to rust colored cardboard, only worse. The bread sticks are no better. If you are looking to eat a decent pie, look elsewhere. If, on the other hand, you are looking to satisfy some weird pica disorder, you've come to the right place!
Review Source:Great AYCE Za Tues-Thurs & half price Za (though only thin crust) on Mondays. Very friendly staff & management contrary to some of the other reviews. If you want to catch a game, the bar has a bunch of big screen tv's. I'm at Kaisers at least twice a month for the Pizza special & recommend it to anyone in the area. It can get crowded in the 6-8p area especially if there is a tv event going on and if you need a table for more than 4 in the restaurant part it may be a bit of a wait during those hours. Enjoy Kaisers, the bar is where it's at imo & the Za specials can't be beat in the area for the quality of the pizza!
Review Source:This is such a nice place to go with friends or family, it's laid back and there's no snobbish attitude going on. You can come in sweats (which I love). My family loves the sidewalk fries, burgers, meatball sandwich, and the pizza. The thin crust pizza's crust is crispy which is my favorite. The only thing I don't like is that the straws don't come out in a paper protector. I know that sounds so weird but I don't like when people touch my straws that I'm about to drink out of. But It's only a minor thing and I can look past it.
Review Source:Dine in or carry-out....This is THE PLACE for pizza in Gurnee. Â Thin crust is my favorite but also had the double decker too. Â Â The pizza sauce and the crust really makes the pizza top notch. Â Good for sandwiches with a shout out for their BBQ beef sandwich which is excellent. Â Toasted Ravioli and the Beer Nuggets are my favorite appetizers. Â Overall, great place with terrific pizza!
Review Source:So we decided to take an hour drive and head to Gurnee to have dinner with some friends. Â After leaving our dinner and still craving something "not so good for us" we stopped at Kaiser's Pizza for some Beer Nuggets. Â
We had heard about the Beer Nuggets on the way down to Gurnee and on the way back home, just couldn't resist driving by and not checking them out. Â It was a Saturday evening and the place was hoppin'. Â Walked inside to order and a wonderful smell filled the air. Â Even though I just had dinner, it was the kind of smell that just made you hungry smelling it.
Placed our order to go and they let us know that they would take about 15-20 minutes to bake. Â (Already knew this from my friend and the menu states it too) Â I checked out the restroom while waiting, very clean. Â We waited outside because it was so crowded inside and you just feel like you are in the way. Â That is one Con with the restaurant, there is no waiting area, at least it was warm when we were there. Â
Staff was super friendly and polite. Â Got our order and we were back on our way. Â For $5.95 you get a medium pizza box full of squares of pizza dough infused with beer, topped with Parmesan cheese and pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Â YUM! Â They were very good but I would definitely add some garlic next time. Â (I am a garli-holic)
We have decided we will definitely drive back to check out the pizza. Â Based on how busy it was and the amount of people getting it to go, it's gotta be good.

My first and only time here...
When we first walked in we were told by some lady with a uniform that they had a limited amount of food option as they were getting ready to close. We were hungry and so we just stayed. Â Later when we got seated i asked our waitress what could we order from the menu and she said we could order whatever and that they wouldn't be closing until much later...what???????? Â Our waitress was pleasant and got out food out in a timely manner. Â Later i realized that all eyes were on my group and that we were the only Non-Caucasians in the restaurant. Â We ate fast and got out...
Racism will never die apparently!
My gf and I came here at around 11pm on a Friday evening after leaving 6 flags. It was late and we didn't have many options so it was rosati's or this place. Ehhh we tried this place. And it was DELICIOUS! We ordered a cup of French onion soup that was so good we didn't add and salt or pepper like we normally would have to do. Then the buffalo wings came out and oh were they just fantastic. We were thinkin man, if these are this good we can't even imagine the pizza! Well the one thing that would lower my rating is that we ordered pan pizza. No bueno. The pizza was really good except there was so much crust that any other place would've called it deep dish. But it still tasted so good that we will def be back and order the same.pizza but with thin crust. I really wish they had a place like this closer to the city. I would rate it 4.5 stars but since I have to choose, I say 5 since I'm drooling just thinkin about the place right now!
Review Source:This place is excellent! We were on our way to Milwaukee from Southern California and were starving. I checked Yelp for a good place to eat and came across Kaisers. Damn- was the pizza great!! Plenty of cheese and toppings and the crust is incredible. I am all about the sauce and this one did not let me down. The beer nuggets were also fantastic! Yummy pieces of doughy pizza bread bites and marinara dipping sauce were great starters. We will definitely return here should we ever be in the area again. The service was great and the people were friendly! Great all around!
Review Source:Kaisers has great pizza, appetizers, and in general just a good menu. Â I personally like the double decker pizza, but they are all good. Â The food is consistent and the staff is friendly. Â It is a small restaurant and often crowded on weekends. Â We usually go a little bit later in the evening to avoid the crowd. Â They also have take out and delivery.
Review Source:Thin Crust is as good as it gets. Price is right. Mon-Thurs All-U-Can Eat for $4.99 + cost of a soft drink. Wait staff is nice to all that sit down and they also recognize the regulars. Can be VERY crowded. TIP: Bar area is first come first serve - Now that they are smoke free , the bar area is family friendly
Review Source:FIrst of all, make sure you specify that you DO NOT want barbeque on your Hawaiian pizza. Seriously, eww.. who does that!? Anyway, after we made that mistake, the manager MORE than made up for it by having another (complimentary) Hawaiian pizza delivered pronto, minus the barbeque! Sweeeet!
Overall, Kaisers is always a solid choice for yummy thin crust. A family favorite!
My biggest gripe with Kaiser's is their dining room is too small. Â But their pizza is first rate, and the service is awesome. Â The bar area is a nice low key area where you can sip a beer and eat your pizza while watching the game. Â Their delivery is pretty consistent in their speed and hot arrival. Â Good family restaurant.
