Okay karaoke but no where near the 5 stars that I see online. I'm comparing it to other places I've been in Annandale, and the prices for the drinks were very reasonable and the service was okay. Of course there's a button you can push. The staff was very friendly, but in general, confused. Even though the establishment was owned by the same person as the restaurant, there went any specials... For instance, if you eat at ARA and spend a certain amount, you could get a discount on the karaoke room. Here, we dropped over $200 on the food and no discount :-( The rooms were okay, but in sore need of a sprucing up to at least the 2000s. With so many options in Annandale, I probably won't be back here save for the fact that there's ample parking.

Most horrible experience, they just change owner and name of the place. I used to be a regular spending over 600 dollars a week in there with my friends. The new owners looks like a used to be gangster and there are not just one there are like 4 owners. One sitting with a chair right in front of the side walk like a look out for cops or something, the second by the main door directing people to go inside in a rude matter, the third guy is in the counter trying to figure out how to do something and the 4 guy working as a staff or waiter. Well we went in feeling not so good but still giving them a chance.
Now the problem start, the waitress who is slow maybe due to her weight and she doesn't have any experience forgetting basic things like giving us ice for the drinks, after we order fruit the doesn't give us plates to eat, once the plate came she forget the utensils and we have to ask for again, u have to call them 3 times before they come and bring it.
Oh btw they got rid of the call button inside the room so u have to stick ur neck and yell for someone to come and that is if they come. And when they come they come with an attitude and not even nock on the door. The staff walk right in like is their bedroom and they walk in on us to adjust the thermo we didn't even ask, they walk in for no reason and do what they have to do and leave and not even ask to excuse them for the interference. The microphone didn't work and ask to be fix or replace, the first guy walk in and screams at the mike and looks at us like we are morons and saying it works. we explain we get distortion when both mikes are on and the other mike he didn't even touch stop working, so 3 guys comes in and started to talk to each other trying to figure it out and change the channel finally and left but didn't fix the problem. We ask for some cups for the drinks she came back and grab all the cups with fingers inside the cup in order to distribute faster, we rinse all the cups with the water bottle.
They came in again without knocking just bursting the door and grab some of our shot glass and just left , I guess they needed them in another room. They never refill our ice buckets. I'm sorry I'm all over the place but so many things that went wrong is hard to list all the problems we encounter. All this happen in a two hour period. We left and went somewhere else. I guess we won't go back and going to start taking my business somewhere else. We miss the old staff which was cool and very friendly.

I should preface this review by admitting that I don't speak Korean. Do you speak and/or read Korean? If not, then like me, you may find the book here to be a little lacking. Yes, the rooms are big. But without songs to sing, you are just watching bad Korean music videos. If this is your thing, then you are in luck. However, if the goal of your karaoke night is to sing songs, in English, then look elsewhere (Cafe Muse is a good starting point).

The best (only good) thing about this place is the size of the rooms. They have a room capable of accommodating 30 people. If English is your second language, then you can probably sing 90% of the book. If English is your native language, you might want to consider investing in Rosetta stone, level 1000.

Not surprisingly, the 10% of the book containing songs in the key of English is listed alphabetically by song title only... want to sing a song by a specific band? Be prepared to sift through the entire English (Pop) section, song by song, only to find your favorite track missing.

Cafe Muse remains my personal preference for private room karaoke, despite the lack of "hard liquor" sales. I own a flask, so the bar offerings carry a bit less weight with me. Sadly, only 15 people can fit in their largest room. However, they have the best book of English tunes, sorted by song AND artist. You came to sing, didn't you?

This is a great place for anything from large parties, to small duos. I come here often and the food, the service and the music keeps me coming back! Highly recommended

Best karaoke in Annandale in my opinion. We got the biggest room there and it was very spacious with huge flatscreens. It was $80/hour which I thought was pretty good. The staff was friendly and got us everything we needed right away. Even when my drunk friend wanted to go behind the front desk/bar and make a fool of himself, the guy was very chill and friendly. He even sympathized with my friend when he started complaining about people x)

I've been to Express Karaoke many times now and I would recommend it to all my friends. The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean, and I always leave feeling happy.

Karaoke express is great!! They give you complementary snacks and they even have a happy hour that gets you ten dollars off the normal room rates! Really easy to use remote and great microphones! You even get a light show on the room that is controlled by the beat of the music. We always come here after we eat at Honey Pig. Super Fun!!!!

My friend's wedding party was there because they have a huge place to hold more than 30people (other karaoke in NOVA area do not have the room like that big). The hugh place like that costs $ 100/hour, but if you deal with their manager, you can catch the room lower price. They also have so many mid size private rooms which can hold ~10peple which costs 30/hour(their happy hour for that room is $20 on Mon-Thurs). Food taste was good and service was great! Korean food is awesome! Their manu does not state bulgogi, galbi, and jaeyouk bokkum, but if you order it specially to a waiter, they will get you delicious korean BBQ!! (because they shere kitchin with the BBQ restaurant) We were really happy to be there! They serve beer, soda, whiskey, vodka, tequila and soju too. You need to show them your id in order to drink. Great at all.

This is awesome. I've been to a few karaoke places in Annandale with my friends (we're all still underage though so I can't say anything about the drink selection), but this was the best one I've been to.

I was really happy that it's no smoking, because the smoke smell in a lot of Annandale karaoke places is overwhelming. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. And the attached restaurant is a huge plus as well.

The song selection was everything we wanted, with recent songs (we enjoyed a rousing chorus of Gangnam Style as well as Maroon 5's Payphone) and good old ones. I guess it would be hard if you can't read Korean but hey, we go there mostly for the Korean songs so we don't have a problem with that. It's a good selection in any case.

We actually somehow (I still don't know how it happened) got a room for $20 for two hours. It was amazing. I think the hourly rate is $30 normally and $20 between 5 and 9 on Tuesday-Thursday, but somehow we managed to get $20 for two hours, so it was amazing.

Definitely definitely coming back here.

They're connected to/share an entrance with Seoul Garden.

$30/hour for a room with comfy couch seating, large song selection, and pretty good privacy... although you can definitely hear/see some interesting sites from the hallway.

Good thing is that they don't round up to charge you for the hour too! Good business practice. And they understand that we split room costs and don't mind the extra time we take to do so.

Haven't gotten any free popcorn or anything the two times we went though =[

I go there often with my friends from http://meetup.com/novaKo…. We have been going here for a bit now and we've always had a great time. We've also been to a lot of the other noraebangs in the area. The selection here is good and you'll likely find the song you're looking for, especially if you know how to use the remote control. We'll be going there again, fo sho!

I think the regular room (~8 people) is $30/hour and the large room (~30 people) is $100. Bottled water and popcorn is complimentary. Sometimes the water isn't complimentary however. I'm not sure why. I guess some nights they feel we should sober up and they are trying to help out. lol
