Kayak Bar & Grill

I loved this place!  Amazing portion sizes and great service.  
Good for families, private parties, date nights, and large groups.  The wait staff were very attentive.  Atmosphere was very welcoming.  
I have already made plans to go again and have told my friends to check it out.  
The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because they didn't have a veggie burger.  They were happy to accommodate my dietary need though.
Can't wait to go back!

Definitely disappointed here.  The patio is nice on a good weather day.  The beer is cold and they have a good selection, but that's where the good stuff stops.  The service was poor - had to ask several times just to get water glasses refilled. The Hummus Plate was extremely disappointing.  It tasted funny-like it had 'filler' or artirfical ingredients in it.  Served with diced tomatoes & cucumbers and canned, sliced olives? Really- canned black olives?  Even the pita bread was not very fresh.
And for as many tables and seats as this place has - really?  A one stall bathroom?
Then the bill came- a bit steep for 4 beers, 1 appetizer and 2 sandwiches.

I'm being nice leaving two stars since the two times we've been in the service has been less than expected for a place charging $9.00 for a glass of wine. I've never seen such streaked wine glasses in my life and when we complained about lipstick marks they brought us two more glasses that were just as bad. When i said they should check the dishwasher I was told the health department was just in and said they didn't have enough soap in their machine. I would would write up any restaurant staff that put these glasses on the table in our establishment and would have the problem fixed if it was the dishwasher. The owner never said sorry about the glasses and ignored us after our complaint and no one said good bye or come again when we left.  The food from our first visit was nothing special either.
