This place is our go to spot for Mexican delivery.  Good food, inexpensive, and quick delivery!

For the price, this place is pretty awesome. All the food is cheap and well made for the price. Recently tried the chilaquiles, and they weren't so great, but all the other food I have tried has been pretty good. I like that it tastes like more authentic Mexican food, and the tacos have all been really delicious! The delivery is usually pretty fast also which is a plus.

Not good.  Not good at all.

If you are looking for a boat load of cheap, greasy, bland, topping free Mexican food this is the spot for you.

For the money they pile you up with food, but I would rather spend an extra buck per taco and get stuff like flavor - oh, and sour cream.

My newsfeed from Everyblock started chatting about this place so we ordered carry out for dinner.  Really good food, really, really cheap.  I loved my al pastor burrito and the husband liked his chorizo burrito.  The basic quesadilla was thick with cheese-nothing fancy, but the kids liked it.  The tacos were also a steal for the price.  Ordered two sides of beans to round it out and we still have left overs.  We will be picking up burritos there again!  Thanks Everyblock!

oh-heads up.  Yelp said they accept credit cards but it is cash only :)

So a buddy of mine and I were in the mood for Mexican delivery for the Bulls season opener and we found this place on Grub Hub. We are usually skeptical of Mexican delivery but you can't beat this place!

It is cheap, the food is very tasty and the delivery was super fast! I will definitely be visiting this place again!

Was excited for lunch today after reading the reviews.  Sadly, I'm not entirely sure I should even give it the two stars.  Chicken enchiladas rinks turned into bland chopped chicken then cooked with a few peppers and onions.  With MOLE.  And about 20 strands of "cheese".    Which lookedikebthey may or may not have met a few seconds in a microwave to melt.  Bland frijoles, which were a strange grayish color.  Chips were clearly from Saturday, maybe Friday. Salsas were decent, but unfortunately for my friend BOTH very spicy.  I myself thought they were hot, but I love spicy hot so I was ok.  I don't feel the need to return.  A shame as its quite close to the house.

I love this place. Delicious burgers, tortas, burritos, tostadas... everything. AND they deliver. Do yourself a favor and either go there or GrubHub it. It is worth it.

It was a searing hot Saturday afternoon and my sister and I were wrangling my grumpy kids.

And we wanted Mexican food.  REALLY GOOD Mexican food.  But we couldn't take the kids out to eat and it's too hot to cook (and who are we kidding?  We can't make really good Mexican food.)

In desperation, we turned to Grub Hub and found this restaurant listed.  Having never tried it before, we ordered delivery.  Chicken burrito, Steak burrito, Barbacoa tacos, chips and salsa verde, enough to share.

It came 10 minutes early and it was SO SO SO SO SO SO good.

It is now Tuesday and I am still thinking about Saturday's lunch.  That kind of good.

    Yum...

Now, I know that people have mentioned that this place rules and you wouldn't expect it by the appearance. But, La Casa de Roy Moy absolutely rules and you wouldn't expect it at all.

I really wasn't sure what to think when I stepped in. I did travel a little out of my way from a friends place to come here. So, when all I saw was what is exactly in the main picture, but with no real counter top, I wasn't so sure about here. But, it's all about the food and I was about to find out how much it delivers.

It's all so unassuming, just some tacos, nothing more. But, these were some completely glorious tacos that are right up there with anything that I've had. The beef that they use is some of the best tasting beef that I've had from a mexican place. I don't know what spices are used with it, but it was insta-smile on my face. That doesn't even begin on how awesome the chicken was. I didn't realize that it was barbacoa, and oh boy was I a happy boy. My only slight gripe was that the chicken was on the drier side, but whatever. This was some killer shit.

I also got myself one of their appetizer quesadillas. I was in a gorging mood, but it was also nice to have as something small. It was simple, but yet it didn't seem to last all that long in front of me.

La Casa de Roy Moy is completely worth going out of your way for. This is a small gem that is begging for me to return.

Barbacoa tacos are a must. Chicken burritos are fantastic. My husband likes the pork ones. Chiles Rellenos also delicious. Chicken soup was an epic fail but these things happen.

When we lived in Lincoln Square, we used to go to Garcias, which we like too. This is just as good. Zero ambiance though. And no bar. You can skip dining in here for sure. But for delivery or take out, it's great.

I am hopelessly devoted to Taqueria San Juanito on Kedzie but, as I've discovered on a few late night taco-seeking missions, their hours aren't always ideal for the hungry and intoxicated. Or just one of those so-hungry-and-indecisive-oh-my-god-when-did-it-get-to-be-11-PM?! moments.

La Casa de Roy y Moy to save the day! My dining companion, Abbie H., and I ordered from them via Grub Hub on a whim and were thrilled with what we got.

While I can't speak for the decor of the place, delivery was zippy and the deliveryman was friendly. Everything arrived well-packaged with ample sides of salsa, table settings, napkins, etc.

My dining buddy got the nachos with meat. A steal at $6.50, these were very lightly salted crispy chips topped with marvelously spicy, oily, crumbly chorizo, a heavy-handed topping of mild white cheese, lettuce, tomato, and several dollops of sour cream.

My tacos? Fantastic. As other reviewers have noted, the quality of the meat at Roy y Moy's is out of the world. And to hit that $15 order miminum? I tried pretty much every one on the menu. Chorizo, as mentioned prior, was deliciously spicy, greasy, and exactly what it should be. Carne asada had beautiful grill marks and wasn't dried out from too much time on the griddle. Picadillo was lean but still retained its moisture and was perfectly spiced. And the al pastor? I think Roy y Moy's just stole my heart for best pastor in Albany Park. Sweet, tender, and without a piece of gristle in sight, I even talked my pork-wary dining companion into nibbling a piece. ...And gushing over it.

Oh. And the beans. Order a side. Or two. Roy y Moy's beans are hit with a heavy dose of chicken stock, rendering them rich, filling, and far more flavorful than any other Mexican restaurant's I've been to. I was so happy I ordered an extra couple of side orders because these beefed up my leftovers for days to follow and are really SO. DARN. GOOD.

I'm so happy to have found a great taqueria that delivers for those nights I don't feel like cooking or hiking out for a meal. This place will definitely be in my regular rotation.

I lived in San Diego, and I have yet to find Mexican food as good as when I was in SD. This place is AMAZING. The inside is so so, but the food more then made up for it. I had the carne asada dinner plate and everything was good. I can't rave enough, but its amazing!

Let me premise this with - I am PICKY especially when it comes to Mexican food. I'm always hesitant to try a taqueria that is new to me because I only eat very lean cuts of meat, chicken breast and can't stand any skin, fat or gristle! My finicky eating habits make it extremely challenging to find a yummy, taco shop. I was pleasantly surprised with La Case De Roy Moy. This place is fabulous and within 2 blocks of the house - even better!

I had the trio of tacos: shredded chicken, carne asada and barbacoa. The chicken was AMAZING! Pretty sure it was shredded chicken breast but if it wasn't, they did a really awesome job at fooling me. I have the innate ability of detecting the teeniest piece of dark meat even if it's mixed with white meat chicken. The carne asada was nothing less than outstanding. I wouldn't opt for the barbacoa again only because the taste of it pales in comparison to the chicken and carne asada.  The tacos were STUFFED with meat; in fact, I could only finish two of them.  The best part of this meal was that I didn't have to dissect not even the tiniest piece of fat or gristle! My meal was surgery free and pretty darn exceptional! The rice and beans were excellent but I couldn't finish all of my meal and wound up sacrificing these items to the BF for his lunch leftovers.

Bring CASH! No credit cards taken here.

The chicken nachos I ordered here were phenomenal. I would actually label them the best chicken nachos I've ever had, and I tend to order this dish almost every time I go out for Mexican, so I've had it at quite a few different restaurants.  I didn't order the standard chicken nachos. I asked for the chicken nachos -cheese and sour cream +guacamole. It was incredibly flavorful. My favorite thing about this place was the aromatic, and just assertive enough flavor of lime in each bite. gahhh. delicious.

Our server did not speak english, luckily the friend I was out to eat with spoke spanish fluently and covered any misunderstandings between the two of us. The server was very sweet, polite, and shy, but the whole not speaking english thing was kind of a problem, and she kind of disappeared after awhile.  Overall, however I really enjoyed myself.

Food is good, and the take out was quick.  I had a chicken burrito with everything on it, had two interesting salsas on the side, and I asked for chips, don't know if they come with it normally.  The inside of the restaurant is bare bones, but clean.  The menu is decent sized.  Don't know if I'd go back and sit down, but would definitely get take out again.
