Mabuhay

I will be making my weekly grocery at H Mart tomorrow. Thanks to the initial review, I will definitely avoid. I will give one star for the proprietors embarrassing review. But I doubt they care.  Meaning expect a new business in less than a month.

I was really looking forward to the relatively new Filipino restaurant that opened in Super H Mart's food court.  I like the thin, crunchy textures and light flavors of Filipino food and had high hopes for Mabuhay.  Unfortunately our experience there was much less than satisfying.

There were 3 of us who ordered and it took 45 minutes to get my food and 55 minutes for my girlfriend to get hers (even though we ordered the same thing), while they completely forgot to make our friend's food - she ended up buying a pastry from H Mart for her dinner.  When we finally got our food it was actually pretty good, if lukewarm, as if it was just sitting in the back the whole time.  They weren't busy at all, but the explanation I got was "We are very busy," with no apology, refund or any kind of real customer service.

Maybe it was a bad day for them, but I personally will definitely avoid this particular restaurant in Super H Mart's food court.
