My husband and I used to go to the old location (the food was great, and the waitress was simply adorable) and were pretty disappointed when we found out they closed. This new location is also great, it's bigger and the staff is very polite (the cool waitress isn't there though).
On our first try we brought coupons from restaurant dough and we didn't have any problem using them, not on mother's day or any other holiday like somebody mentioned. The food was just great. My husband ordered a mixed plate and I had the biryani rice (with apricot stew!!). If you ask them, they can make changes for you, even vegan. We finished the meal sharing a mango ice cream and we decided we'd get more D.D. coupons for the future. We've already been there 6 times.
Even though we used coupons the tip was not included, but we know we're supposed to tip on the original price and that's how it's always been, except once, when we had a different waiter and he told us the tip was included because of the coupon (my guess is someone tipped him on the reduced price)
It's really close to Ogden 6 theater, so if you plan on dinner and movie it's the place to go! Unless you're not into Indian food, of course.

I think there are quite a few lackluster Indian joints near where I live, but this is not one of them. Better than Indian Harvest, better than Dakshin (which, admittedly, is not trying to be the same kind of restaurant).

Portions are very generous, which is sometimes an issue at Indian places (although I never leave hungry). Our lamb vindaloo, which is my usual Indian food yardstick, was delicious, with flavorful lamb and really nice heat. Dal Makhani was also very good, creamy and spicy, an absolute must-order on return visits. Chicken Makhani (the way more delicious "sweet and sour chicken" of Indian food) was also quite good, although sometimes, I think this is made with grilled/tandoori chicken, which was not the case here. I do like that grilled flavor to go along with the mild gravy. The only misstep, as I see my father has already commented, was the exceptionally poor mulligatawny. Thin, flavorless...I'll echo his quote. If this is authentic mulligatawny, then I don't like mulligatawny.

We rolled out of here, having ordered too much. If you were two people and you got bread, one entree, and rice, I think you'd have plenty to eat. If you got two entrees for variety, you'd be having those dishes at home the next day. And maybe...that isn't all bad.

It's also not frightfully expensive. I feel like Indian can be expensive by the time you get done paying a la carte for rice and naan. I do really like that they have simplified what can be a too-long menu by just saying, here are the dishes you can order, and here are the available meats/etc you can get in them. Very easy to pick what you want.

    A definite return.

Tried their Lunch buffet  after a long time and i can say, their quality & variety have significantly improved.
    Good ambience too.
Little pricey, compared to other places..but ok overall.
