I'm giving this place two stars for the decor. It's a really cool space.

Some friends told me about this place so I went with them to check it out. I thought it sounded like a really cool concept.

It was a Saturday night so it was fairly busy as you'd expect. I walked up to the bar to get a drink. There was a male bartender near me who I expected would wait on me when he finished with the drinks he was making. When it was my turn he walked past me to the end of the bar to wait on a group of women who had walked up after me. I thought, "Okay fine. I'll wait for one of the other bartenders."

After five more minutes or so one of the female bartenders finally came over to take my order. I ordered a vodka cranberry. While she made my drink she made a few others. No biggie. That's the sign of an efficient bartender.

As I watched her pour my drink it looked like she accidentally started pouring something extra in my drink. I thought, "She'll remake it." She didn't. As she handed it to me and as I paid she said, " I accidentally splashed some beer in your drink. If you want me to remake it I will." I thought it was cool of her to say that.

I took a sip of the drink to taste it and it was awful. I looked up to ask her to remake it but she was long gone. I had already been at the bar for 10 minutes or so and was tired of waiting to get a drink so I just walked away and sipped my not-so-tasty drink.

    I won't be going back.

A perfect fixture among the businesses that populate the predominately warehouse neighborhood of five points - Mile High Spirits is literally a warehouse-turned-distillery bar. I'm talking a mile high ceiling and no floor plan. And it's amazing.

It's literally a huge room with over stimulation, like a pool table to one side of you and a cluster if cool couches and chairs on the other.

Knowing this was a distillery that houses some stellar local spirits - I made my way straight to the bar in the back. I was suddenly stricken with conflict as I perished the creative elixirs, like cucumber or pepperoncini vodka. So, naturally, I ordered the first one (cucumber infused with soda) and downed real fast so I could squeeze in a Bloody Mary mixed with their house pepperoncini vodka. It was deliciously spicy. I left happy, and probably a little tipsy. They have an adjacent patio that I will definitely have to check out during my next vodka tasting adventure.

Mile High Spirits is awesome. Super grateful to my colleague and friend Frances G for introducing me to the place on my first night in Denver! This is a distillery that produces a line of vodka, bourbon, gin and rum. A wall separates the distillery from a really cool bar area with relaxed seating and a pool table. There is a large outdoor area as well. On my second visit on a Tuesday there was a very competitive corn hole tournament going down.

The thing that makes the drinks awesome at this spot is that they have tons of infused spirits. There were five or six vodka infusions, a couple bourbon and a rum during my visits. They do a great Moscow Mule which you can get with any of their spirits. I opted for the black cherry bourbon and was instantly hooked. They also make an awesome bloody Mary which was made even better with pickle- pepperoncini-infused vodka. It was garnished with two different stuffed olives, a pepperoncini and a cornichon. Fantastic.

Happy hour starts at 5pm and you can take a dollar off any drink. There was no shortage of people hanging at this bar on a Friday night or a Tuesday night. I only wish I could have brought some of that delicious infused booze home with me. A must-visit while in Denver.

Loved hanging here earlier this evening.
Both Allie and Tyler behind the bar were very friendly!
I had the daiquiri with muddled strawberries and basil (asked for it to be served on the rocks instead of in a martini glass) and my girlfriend enjoyed the Maui Mule.

Loved the atmosphere, love the outdoor space with corn hole (bean bag toss).

When we got the tab, decided spontaneously to try some of their infused liquors in straight shots. Strawberry/kiwi infused vodka for me and the bartender, Tyler and pineapple infused vodka for my girl, Cheers!

**Happy hour daily until 8pm, $1 off all drinks except for flights!

Mile High Spirits doesn't sell anything they don't make in house so don't go there if you don't want liquor. If you do want spirits though, they've got you covered with vodka, gin, and whiskey. I've had some seriously amazing cocktails here, from a peach bourbon mule to the spiciest pickle-pepperocini vodka Bloody Mary.

They don't serve food, but they often have a truck or stand out front and you are more than welcome to have something delivered if you are hungry. (Walnut Room Pizzeria is just around the corner!)

Geeks Who Drink trivia is here every Wednesday night, the have make your own Bloody Mary bars on the weekend, and an assortment of events throughout the week. Not to mention you can simply play pool inside or cornhole outside if you like. It's a great little spot for a cocktail or three and I'll definitely be back!

It's on odd little space tucked away in the RiNo district, when the garage doors are closed it's easy to stroll right past it (especially if you have had a few). The staff is friendly enough, a bit slow but never the less they are nice and friendly.

The booze is the real draw here, they make it all, from scratch. They also have a solid selection of infused liquors that are always rotating. As another reviewer pointed out they have one called "Tingala" it is a distilled flower know for its mouth numbing effect, I would highly recommend giving it a go, I happen to really enjoy it.

Overall, fun out of the way spot, not the fastest drinks but they make up for it in booze quality and price (5 mules for under $20) and a great atmosphere, I have blow many a Sunday afternoon playing cornhole and indulging to much here.

This place is great!  I had no clue it existed until a friend of mine invited me there.  The bar/seating area is very laid back and open.  The front of the bar has big garage door windows to open the place up to the outside air.  Bar stools at the bar, then the rest of the space is filled with cocktail tables, couches and various other lounge seating.  Walking up to the place I heard quite a bit of noise and when I entered it appeared empty.  Then I noticed the side door and let myself out to the big side yard.  You cant see this from the street due to an 8ft privary fence.  (There is a doggie daycare next door, so I guess it keeps the dogs from barking at people all day.)  Outside there are multiple tables and cornhole games set up.  It was nice to see the use of the artificial turf.  At night, there is ample lighting to continue the party after the sun sets.

The establishment is called "Mile High Spirits", so expect spirits and nothing more.  Behind the bar they have 8-10 infusions going on ranging from bourbon to rum to vodka and many more.  As this was my first time there, I was a little nervous on how to order, no beer, only house made spirits.  Thankfully, I looked to the far left of the bar and saw a chalkboard explaining the whole thing.  First, you pick a liquor, then you pick a mixer, then drink and repeat! (It really says the last part!)  They also have a wide range of mixers.  Grapefruit juice, ginger ale, ginger beer, and then the usual soda's, red bull, tonic etc.  Everything I had was amazing!  I tried both of the bourbons, black cherry and peach.  They were very good mixed with ginger beer and ginger ale.

Check in on four-square for a free shot too!

The tingala is like nothing I've ever had.  The best way I can describe it is a supercharged red hot atomic fireball candy in liquid form.  Tingala is smooth, cinnamony, and literally makes your mouth tingle and then numb.  The bartender gave me a very generous sample and said that people tend to either love it or hate it.  I'm a cinnamon fan, so I loved it and went with a tingala Moscow Mule.  So good and different.  Definitely a must try.  It packs a punch though.

I also tasted a black cherry infused whiskey, which seemed a little boring after the tingala, but, really, it's hard to compete with the tingala.  Even my boyfriend's martini made with pepperoncini infused vodka couldn't compete.

Mile High Spirts doesn't serve food, but they do have a very good Chex-like mix for munching and a food truck outside.  Cool space with a pool table inside and cornhole boards outside.

I love this little gem up in the RiNo district. Where to start? The decor is just awesome. Industrial without feeling too cold (the plush leather couches and cowhide rugs help with this I think). On their patio they have multiple cornhole set ups, so def challenge someone out there.

As far as the booze... LOVE it. The pepperoncini shot is a must if you want to start the night off right ;) I usually go with one of their flavored vodkas and soda or one of their whiskies with ginger (my favorite is the cherry). You really can't go wrong.

    Truly disappointed

I honestly wanted to love this place!  I really did like the great vibe I got the minute we walked in.  Music was great,...Such a cool place inside and out!  The interior was as Christopher B. described it - "minimalistic yet warm."  Yep, he nailed it.  Definitely "industrial and rustic at the same time."

I was truly excited as I am a HUGE fan of in-house infused vodka's.  One of my all time favorite dive bars in Chicago - The Matchbox was the bar responsible for making me fall in love with in-house infused vodka's.

Then came the first hurdle - getting a drink.  This place wasn't packed.  It was around midnight when we arrived and approached the bar.  We made our way up to the bar which had two female bartenders who seemed to be concentrating on both ends of the bar.  Our mistake was to get right in the middle.  It seriously took us about 10 minutes to be acknowledged and have our drink order taken, and this by the gentleman who appeared to be the bar back.

The drinks themselves were extremely disappointing.  I honestly couldn't even drink mine it was so sour!  (I'd asked for a pineapple vodka gimlet - Don't ever ask for that at this bar!)  Unfortunately my friend's drink wasn't much better.

We decided to go outside.  What an awesome outdoor patio!  Astro-turf-like football field with great outdoor games!  The vibe was terrific inside and outside!  Why did the drinks have to taste so bad?!?!  Ugh!  This would have been an amazing and chill bar to frequent.  I can't recommend it, not until I get the courage to try it out again,...but there are just so many other places to try and this place blew it in a big, big way!

I love the interior of this place- so spaceous, minimalistic yet warm (industrial and rustic at the same time?!). As impressed as I was coming inside I was maybe more impressed with how big the patio is... And all the cornhole games they have! It's great because you could hang out or play games (and they have pool inside).

The downside is that it takes forever and then some to get a drink. I watched the bartenders... they are not in a hurry but they have a million people waiting. Maybe someone should either crack the whip or hire some more people.

The other thing for me is that I felt the drinks were sub par. I have had some amazing drinks in my life and coming to a place that makes and specializes in 'spirits', these were very disappointing! And I even compared notes with some random people and they all felt the same way- average but nothing special.

This is one of those places that you really want to like, and a place you really enjoying going to, but you're conflicted because the product and the service both lack!!

I really dig this bar.  Chill vibe, great selection of spirits, and just an overall cool space.  Happy hour is nice, as all drinks are a $1 off.  Drinks are poured strong, and they make a damn fine Moscow Mule.  I also enjoyed my vodka/grapefruit juice cocktail.  The spirits are all made in-house, which is just amazing, and they do a ton of liquor infusions.  I can't wait to go back to try more of those!!

MHS is a fun place with great drinks. I've been a big fan of Fireside whiskey since I tried it a year ago.

The space is very open. The bartenders were friendly and attentive and the patio area features multiple bag-toss games to pass the time.

Went to this place for the first time over the weekend and immediately loved it. It was cheap booze, but it was really good! Bourbon on the rocks is the way to go.. the bartenders have heavy hands. I knew it was quality because I didn't wake up with a terrible hang over.

When I return, I will be going back!

Know what you're getting into here: just liquor. Rum, vodka, whiskey, and gin. Not a drop of beer or wine in the place. Which is fine because everything served has been distilled on site. And the whiskey isn't bad. But again: be warned.

This hip little joint is a Sunday staple for me because of their excellent Bloody Mary bar ($3 bloodies; infused vodka (Pickle-pepperoncini; pepperoncini; bacon!; cucumber); enough goodies and treats to fashion your own afternoon snack platter in a glass). It is also near other favorites on Larimer, such as Our Mutual Friend, the Matchbox, the Larimer Lounge, and Meadowlark (not to mention the Walnut Room one street down), so put it on your Larimer pub crawl destination list.

Every time I've been there, a different food truck has been posted up outside. There is a large garage door that opens up in climate weather. And there is a fantastic patio out back with cornhole (the game regionally known as "bags"). But when it is cooler out (thus the door is closed), it gets noisy fast. So, to repeat, know what you're getting into ahead of time. A warm, sunny Sunday means a calm, quiet place to chat over cheap, custom-made bloodies. A colder Saturday means a noisy, packed bar, which will be almost certainly fancy and hip. The tale of two bars. But depending on which you prefer, this is a pretty great place.

At the risk of giving away my favorite "secret" spot in Denver, Mile High Spirits is the best. There is always an eclectic, friendly crowd and the staff are all great. The booze really is the crown jewel and often goes unmentioned because the bar itself is so great. I love the whiskey and am so happy they are infusing whiskey now along with all of the vodkas (which are all stellar).

Whether it's a mule on a hot day, a hot toddy on a cold day, a bloody mary in the morning or whiskey shots at 2am, Mile High Spirits seems to always be a solid choice.

Now, believe it or not, but sometimes this beer lover has had enough beer.  Really, it's absolutely true.  And sometimes, she still wants to go out and have some fun with a drink in hand.

    Cue Mile High Spirits!

I've had MHS on my radar for ages, but as stated above, beer is usually my go-to.  So when the mood hit that I just wanted some whiskey or vodka, MHS popped into my head!  Wah bam!  And thankfully, Steve A felt the same way.  Time for an adventure in spirits!

Mile High Spirits is located on that slightly weird stretch of Larmier that contains the Matchbox and Our Mutual Friend.  (It's getting less weird the more I visit, I promise, but it still feels like no man's land to me!)  Plenty of parking is to be found if you simply take a few laps around the blocks, so never fear!

Steve and I arrived pretty late on a Saturday night, so MHS was rockin'!  You couldn't see it from the street, but you could clearly heard the party happening inside.  Upon entering, I loved the vibe:  Wide open room with plenty of gathering areas include many comfy couches as well as bars along the walls to sidle up to and chat around.  We took a quick peek at the "yard" as well, which was full of games like cornhole, if that's what Denverites call it.  This will be a cool spot to check out during warm summer nights.

After surveying the landscape, we made our way over to the ridiculously overcrowded bar area.  If I wasn't so intent on having some whiskey, I probably would have been irritated by the wait, which was about three or four people deep, with only three bartenders.  Usually three would be more than enough, but it just wasn't cutting it on our visit.  In any case, after finally squeezing our way in and grabbing the attention of one of the bartenders, we ordered up some ginger and whiskeys as well as a shot of the black cherry bourbon (which was free with a Foursquare Check-in...any Yelp deals in the works?).  Wow!  The latter was amazing!  It's been awhile since I ventured into spirits, so it was definitely a refreshing burn down the ol' gullet.  The whiskey was a refreshing change from a craft brew!

Overall, I really dug this place.  It's a bit out of the way for me, but I'm up for a drive if a little fun and adventure is involved.  And Mile High Spirits offers something different in Denver.  Now, don't get me wrong, I'll still be visiting all of my favorite breweries, but when the mood for a spirit strikes, Mile High Spirits is where I'll be heading!

The staff is friendly, welcoming and willing to talk with you about the drinks they distill as well as let you try small samples of their liquor.  I'm not a vodka fan, but when I sipped theirs I was amazed that I could slowly enjoy sipping on it; nevermind I usually cringe at the taste of any vodka sampled straight.

Some of the bartenders I've noticed are not fully familiar with all the drinks they offer which is why I take a star away.

There are a few big screen TV's which is nice for hanging out in while watching sporting events and I've noticed that all the local breweries around Denver do not have TV's.  There is a pool table and comfortable couches inside the bar and lawn games on their side patio.  The only way I think this place could get better is if they served beer with their spirits, but I can walk a block down the street to the brewery Our Mutual Friend for quality beer.

They don't serve food, but more often than not they'll have one of Denver's amazing gourmet food trucks set up outside.  If you're fortunate to see Mestizos food truck then you Must go try their food!

I'm not a hard liquor drinker, so its never my first thought, but when i do go, a nice mule does feel good on a hot day!

Nice huge space, big roll up doors, nice patio, though the fencing makes me think i'm in a prison yard, but assume there's a reason for that.

Try the Maui Mule, it's my favorite.

One of my favorite places to lounge off the beaten path, good drinks and a chill atmosphere (spacious layout and comfy leather couch's). It has definitely gotten more popular over the past months and I can see why. I dropped by when they first opened and will always be a fan. They got a nice open patio space with corn-hole or enough space from everyone else if you want to choke down a smoke. They also have a taco truck usually outside if you need some grub

Simply put, "just a good vibe," Rob Burgundy would unwind here.

This bar would be great if I didn't have to wait 15 minutes every time I went to order a drink. Even on nights when it's not crowded, I've been ignored time and time again. I'm not sure what the issue is...

We went thinking we'd get to experience ad distillery. That didn't happy, but it's ok, bc we loved everything about the bard area of Mile High.

Awesome space.  Comfy. Chill.  Perfect for groups or couples alike. Great infused spirits (their house brand, of course) and awesome drink specials to keep the wallet fully loaded.

This is a great place to meet friends, hang out and catch up.

Finally got around to trying Mile High last weekend - we had a Groupon to use that was due to expire at the end of the month, and for once we didn't wait until the last minute!  I've had their vodka and whiskey a number of times, but was excited to try the infusions nonetheless.

We tried a total of 10 different infusions spirits, including vodka, gin, rum and whiskey and then each ordered a drink based on our favorites.  I got the whiskey mule and my partner in crime opted for the pineapple mule (I think, those damn drinks were strong!).  We also tried a shot of tingala at the bartenders recommendation.  That's some crazy and strong stuff!

The infusions were all pretty good - the only thing I wasn't thrilled about what that all of the vodka infusions seemed pretty sweet, like they added a bunch of simple syrup to each.  Regardless, they still made good drinks.

The bartender was knowledgeable and helpful, and overall it's a really chill place to spend some time.  Seems like it could be a dangerous place to spend an afternoon, but that's half the fun of it!

I really like this place and was happy to return to update my review.  It is such a cute bar and I really love the atmosphere.

This time, I enjoyed myself even more and the crowd was really good.

Our group had a great time chatting and drinking delicious drinks.  We tool over some leather couches and enjoyed ourselves.  Some other patrons even offered to move to another table so we could all sit together.

Drinks were made well and were delicious.  The first stop of the evening and a successful one.

I totally dig the decor and turf-covered outdoor game area.  MHS has that great perfect-for-hanging-out vibe.  I was there for a benefit event, so I didn't have access to the full menu, but the bartenders were super friendly and fast despite the mayhem.

I agree with the other reviewers, they're definitely a strong candidate for best Moscow Mule in town.

I purchased a Living Social deal to Mile High Spirits and as per usual, waited to redeem close to its expiration date.

I corralled a couple of friends into going for a drink here post-workout at Qi. I almost missed this place, as it is not clearly marked and it is next to a doggie day care.

The interior is sparse, with some leather couches, a pool table and a bar to sit at. In an ever-increasing trend around micro and nano-breweries, as well as bars, Mile High Spirits focuses on its distilled spirits and not on food. If you're hungry, ask the bartender for a menu or you are welcome to bring in food while you imbibe.

Mile High Spirits is a craft distillery and offers rum, vodka, gin and whiskey (I believe). Several of their spirits are flavored. We sat at the bar and ordered Moscow Mules. Apparently it is popular to steal the copper mugs that Moscow Mules are served in, so I had to secure my drink purchase with my card in case I ran off with a copper mug, as my card would be charged for the price of a replacement mug. Interesting, but I could understand and since I had no plans to purloin a copper mug, I went along with it.

I sampled two Moscow Mules, one with a mixed berry and a cucumber one. The cucumber was crisp and refreshing with a ginger bit. I was so surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Kate G was absolutely spot on with her suggestion.

I can see that I will return. It's a great spot and pretty decent prices for drinks. We had no issues with service on the occasion that I visited. There was a good-sized crowd and the place was busy, but not packed on a Tuesday evening. Our server took care of us in a timely fashion and I didn't recall ever feeling rushed.

There's also a Happy Hour from 4-8 pm, which we just missed that night, but still the prices were A-ok.

This is the new hipster hood. Forget Cap Hill. The new it hood is 5 points and I want to be here ALL THE DAMN TIME.

My friends who just bought a house in the hood turned me onto this place. Do you like whiskey? Vodka? They have it all and they make it all in-house! They have the best Moscow Mule I've had in a  long time and they are nicely priced at $6. The space is nice and minimalistic and warehousey- just right for the hood. Their patio is great on warm weather days complete with Astro-Turf and they are dog friendly.

BTW: They serve the best goddamn bloody I've ever had. Try it with the jalapeno vodka (i think that is what it was called..sorry, I was drunk).

Keep up the good work ya'll and keep the stiff drinks flowin.

I really wanted to like this place more, because it's in my neighborhood, and--hello!--it's a distillery.

    Pros
+ They have lawn games out back and a pool table inside.
+ I really liked the decor, which was "industrial warehouse meets rustic ranch." (Think leather couches, Edison-style lightbulbs, hide-covered stools and furniture made from thick slabs of weathered wood.)

    Cons
    - The bartender wasn't very friendly or welcoming, despite the fact that there were only a few other people there at the time.
    - My Bloody Mary was seriously gross. It was watery and just didn't have a very good flavor. Thankfully, it came with quite a few garnishes, which I kept nibbling to cover up the taste of the drink. My boyfriend wasn't too enthusiastic about his Mule either, which he always orders with whisky instead of vodka.

I LOVE Mile High Spirits! This has to be the first time I've given 5 stars to any establishment that doesn't offer beer. But their spirits are just too good to give it any less!

I have so much fun with all the infused vodkas; so far the pineapple is my favorite. And my husband really enjoys their whiskey mules. I once had a pickle-pepperoncini martini with garlic and jalapeno stuffed olives. They keep their menu interesting, often mixing it up and switching out different drinks depending on what they happen to be infusing at the time. I need to try their berry infused whiskey next.

Besides the drinks, the space is great. On nice days I like to sit at the front near the open garage door. And the big comfy couches and chairs give it a very homey feel. The only thing I don't like is that the Pedal Bar/Patio Ride things stop there quite often, and it kinda ruins it for me as it gets way too loud and rowdy in there, and also there is usually just one (sometimes two) bartender(s) so I end up having to wait a while until all the party-goers get served. But overall this is a great place.

It is cool to go to a place that makes its own booze, and only sells what they make in house. The cocktails are pretty good, and people seemed to be a big fan of the Moscow Mules.

I had a couple of different vodkas in shots and mixed drinks. I am more of a beer fan when I head to the bars, and they don't server any. I enjoyed what I had, but would have liked a little more selection.

That aside, if you dare venture that far north of Downtown, the place has a cool atmosphere and awesome side patio.

I came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday, after mistakenly believing they were only a whiskey distillery and thinking since I'm not a huge whiskey fan, I "wouldn't get too drunk."

24 hours later, and I'm immobile on the couch struggling to walk to Whole Foods to get some not-that-terrible-for-you hangover cure food and can barely walk.

I had several Moscow mules and being very picky, am always a bit suspicious they don't make them strong enough. The tall bartender made them quite strong, in fact, and after finishing my friends' 2-3 and having one of my own, I was sufficiently sauced. I was then regaled by their delicious rum on ice--yes, only on ice!!--and it was unlike anything I've ever had. I had given up rum after one too many Captain Morgan shot sprees in college, but this brought me back in.

Outside they have bag toss which is just the best after 1 Moscow mule, more challenging after several, and several benches for a hipper yet still somewhat college-y feel. Inside there is a long bar, a few couches, and some empty space that my friends and I turned into an impromptu dance floor. The music was good. I would mention highlights of songs played but after hearing AWOL Nation "Sail" at the beginning of the night, everything gets a little spotty memory-wise.

I downed at least half of one of the gallon-sized jars of snack mix on their counters, so they've got that going for them. I think it's an impressive, expansive addition with broad appeal and will definitely be back.

    Ah, this is a distillery.

I am such a dork. I saw Geeks Who Drink was doing a HHG2G round for trivia, so I looked for a Wednesday location that was convenient. When I saw "Mile High Spirits" I was like, "that sounds like a liquor store". It wasn't until I arrived and sauntered up to the bar to order a beer that I realized it was a distillery, lol.

Despite my mix up, we had a great time here. There is free parking with no time limit out front, eclectic furniture ranging from barstools to couches, and trivia was super fun. The Gin Martinis were lovely, although I wish they had onions for garnish (I'm a gibson girl).

I'd love to come back and do the "sampler" :)

Tip: You may want to arrive at this place closer to sunset. They have a big, glass, garage door facing West, so the sun is a bit brutal during those 30min before sunset.

Cool bar with really strong drinks distilled on site and packed with alcohol like a bullet is packed with gunpowder. The place itself is also really urban cool..my girlfriend said it reminded her of many places in her former Brooklyn neighborhood and I can see that. Lots of leather couches and metal high tops.

I do wish they would have an additional bartender working there as the service was often slow. They should basically schedule two bartenders and if it is actually too slow, let one of them leave early. As it is now, it just is too much for one bartender to handle 30+ people wanting drinks especially as many of the drinks are somewhat more complicated than just pouring a draft of beer or opening up a bottle.

But that is just a minor quibble in what I think is a very cool bar in what is becoming one of the cooler Denver neighborhoods.

Great little spot on the other-mer side of Larimer.  I hope more bars/restaurants add their names to the roster for this up and coming area.

The bar staff is friendly, the location and presentation of the place is very warehouse swanky, and the drinks themselves are creative and tasty.

Bike on, walk on, or drive on in.

Beautiful space with a variety of seating based on what you're feeling (do you want to half sit outside next to the garage doors, lounge on a couch, sit at the bar, or stand and play pool?), tasty and inexpensive drinks, and a crowd that looks like they may have gotten lost going home from Suite 200 or Sing Sings (or whatever they call that place now).

Mile High Spirits is a craft distillery and only serve what they distill.  Right now I believe they just have vodka, light rum, gin, and whiskey but could change/expand in the future.  Prices are super reasonable, ranging from $4 for standard liquor + mixer to $7 or $8 for a fancier cocktail or one of their four or five mules served in a copper cup.  They do infused vodkas too, but sometimes will switch them up without switching up the menu.  They even have fish bowls of snack mix scattered about for when you're feeling snacky and a food truck parked out front.  Often it's Mestizos (okay Asian/Mexican fusion) but on Friday it was Bambu (appeared to have only chicken entrees).

No signage to speak of, and the only way you'd know something is there is if the garage door is pulled up.  It's next to the Doggy daycare (to the left if you're facing the daycare) and up the street a few paces from Crema.

This place is a great addition to the 'hood and I can't wait to see their cocktail offerings expanded (mojitos will make me a forever fan).  It makes for a good, quick spot after a workout at Qi, or a good spot to end the night.

    I think I'm in love!!

Our group was so excited to have gone to this new place in the neighborhood on Friday.  Newly opened, this distillery offers some amazing infused spirits in a relaxing environment. I enjoyed The Moscow Mule which was made with their own lemon infused vodka and served in the signature copper cup.  Over the top delish!

The decor was super comfy and simply nice to look at!  The staff was incredible and it's easy to say I wish them well on this new place.  Tell your friends, tell your family...just go there and support a new, local business.

You can get yourself a delicious cocktail made from locally distilled spirits here - we took advantage of the infused vodkas and their whiskey.  Soon to come I believe are gin & rum as well.  The bartender special was the blood orange mule ... it was just as tasty and refreshing as standard mule.  Their cucumbertini is refreshing and full of cucumber flavor.  If you have a sweet tooth, check out the mint chocolate chip martini - they blend mint, vanilla, and chocolate flavored vodkas for this one and drizzle some Ghirardelli chocolate syrup around inside of the glass.

Mile High Spirits is very casual, but the interior design is beautiful.  There are a number of leather couches for lounging around, unique lighting, and lots of space for mingling.  Coming soon is food & a patio for the summer months.
