Well... Loved the TV's (tons of them). The food was pretty good. Went with the fajitas . The staff was very pleasant. I'll definitely suggest a visit if you're in the area.

Avoid Thursdays though. Trivia night is painful. Aside from the fact that I HATE Trivia and thought it was retired as a form of mass entertainment back with the game CLUE, the speaker system was awful. Sounded...clock radio-ish. Ughh... I'm sure any other night is great!

One of my favorite places to eat. Usually great dinner specials, especially on Monday night for the Rib special. The prime rib is also good. Onion rings are tasty. Drinks are slow but the bartenders are good. Servers are always pleasant and friendly. I try to go here as frequently as I can.

My waitress was nice and attentive.  The food was a little bland, I got the lemon picatta chicken.  It just wasn't what I expected. I may try happy hour one day, so I'm not completely ruling out the Miller Ale House.

We were in town to board the Ruby Princess and arrived the night prior to our departure.  Asked the valet at the hotel we were staying at, where can we get some dinner.  He suggested the Millers' Ale House, and we were very pleased with the recommendation.  The server was great, the food was very good and the prices were very reasonable.  If we are ever in Fort Lauderdale again, we will be back!

I would give these guys 10 "negative" stars if such option was available. What a waste of time, money, food ingredients and real estate. Service leaves a lot to be desired, no staff member takes responsibility for any part of patrons' horrible experience. Waiter would vanish for long periods of time & we had to wait for over 15 minutes to see our waiter after we were finished eating. To say food is "sub par" would be a compliment when a disgusting spoiled meatball is brought to a waiter's attention and when he is asked to taste it, he promptly refuses and says he doesn't eat meatballs ever. Well if he doesn't take responsibility then who will? it was clear to me that the waiter was never instructed to escalate such an issue to a manager and just wanted to get us out and see to it that new people sat down on our table. It was obvious that their seafood, meat & chicken are all frozen and never fresh. In summation, staff takes no responsibility nor believes in the adage: "customer is always right". Would strongly NOT recommend it. Go to McDonalds and get more value for your money. Looks like another franchise headed to doom.

Beer, plasma TVs and pool tables. Add fresh seafood and families, equals a relaxing Sunday evening out. The burgers could use work though.

A classic Ale House experience.  Good service, good food, a sports bar fit for the whole fam, and all of the games surrounding you on the big screens.  Daily drink specials and a menu full of specialty cocktails, if you're into sweet adult concoctions.  I opted for a Magic Hat.  A classic order of calamari followed, served with a sweet chili sauce for dipping.  My dining companion had a burger, and I opted for a loaded- i.e. mushrooms and onions- chicken philly.  That was some tasty bird. We both enjoyed the sweet potato fries, and I especially enjoyed the tiny tub of lightly sweetened whipped cinnamon cream for dipping (never had it before, so it was a fun discovery). We devoured everything on our plates, including my pickle wedge. Too full for dessert, we finished watching SFO sweep Detroit in the World Series, and off we went.

If you've been to an Ale House then this one won't surprise you. Same layout and look.

As always the food is pretty good and is reasonably priced. They have a decent selection of beers and tons of TVs to watch the game.

Another great lunch at the Ale House....

With so many locations and amazing Zingers it's sure not to disappoint.

I will say that on this particular trip I had the largest Oysters I've ever had in my life. Huge!

Easy to park, eat, drink and get in and out.

***Also a trick... Park here and walk to the Culture Room for concerts when the parking lot there gets full!

Cool spot with a lot of TVs so good place to catch a game, that is, if the game you already want to watch is on. I asked our server if she could put on a particular game and she said they were REALLY busy so she'd have to talk to a manager (this was a Sunday night after football season and before baseball season so there was only college/pro basketball and NHL hockey on, not much competition). After about 15-20 minutes, I went over to the bar and asked a bartender about changing the TV. Her response was the same, REALLY busy. For the record, the place was full, but not overflowing by any means. Anyway, I finally tracked down some one who could oblige me.

As for the food, it was average. About what you'd expect for a sports bar. Our server, on the other hand was awful. She was running around all night like she was super busy (maybe she was, but we were basically ignored), then she messed up 3 out of 4 orders and never brought out any waters (which we asked for 3 times). On a 5 point scale, they get a 4 for the atmosphere (meaning tvs, beers on tap, etc), a 2 for food and a 0 for service. I'd probably go back for a game, but definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Decent grub for the $$. Get's busy on gameday, so get there early. They have good specials (drink and food) and is a place I go to when visiting the family in FLL.

Watching sports is made simple with their gazillion tv's and the service is consistently good and efficient.

I went on Friday after work with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised by the drink specials! I mean $10 pitchers of margaritas or sangrias!! What more could a girl ask for?!? We decided to order some appetizers although they were not my favorite at all.... We got a platter of nachos and asked for no meat but instead they brought the topping that were supposed to be on the nachos separately.....uhhh weird.

Our waiter was also pretty weird .......very hyper and seemed nervous around us, so I felt bad. The manager did come over and chat with us and then brought over some free dessert although we were too full for it anyway. The restaurant was full of guys which may be why we had exceptional service .....although we didn't need it.

Overall, it was a fun spot to watch some sports and drink some cheap girly drinks!

Very good place to watch sports in Ft lauderdale.

Federal highway location, free parking, very good service, reasonable prices, tasty food and LOTS of TVs everywhere to catch a game.

Yesterday, I went to the Ale House to watch one of the 50 NCAA football games on TV. Yawn.  Ok, so I was roped into it. But I am trying to get into football. I want to like it.

The place was busy but not too crowded. One fellow Yelper lamented that the crowd is old. I mean it's not Manhattan or South Beach.  What does he think, there should be a table of Victoria's Secret models here or something?  It's Ft. Lauderdale. Unless you go to Las Olas or to touristy Ft. Lauderdale Beach, it's pretty much an older, pasty, average crowd.

We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was a really nice woman. I was going to go with Amber Bock but switched to Blue Moon when she said they had fresh oranges.

Usually I am totally not a fan of the Ale House's food. I find it mediocre at best. I had hot Zingers with celery and blue cheese. They were really good. I was pleasantly surprised.

Check out this place to watch some games or for a quick bite.

    Enjoy!

Slightly above "meh".  Decent beer selection; I had a good IPA of some kind last time I was there. Food is unremarkable bar fare, but priced accordingly.  It's fun to be able to shoot pool while watching a game, in a non-smoky environment.  I've had good service each time we went, attentive waitstaff ensured our glasses were only momentarily empty.

Everyone crows about Ale House, but I don't know why. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they seem to be the basis of the movie "Waiting..." Food is consistently sub-par. Service is consistently lacking.

If I am looking for sports and cheap beer, I know  where to go. Problem is that I am usually looking for decent food and good beer.

Always consistent.  Great chicken nachos, decent service, and a bunch of big TVs.  Good for a cheap casual evening.

We visited this place while in town for the Super Bowl cuz we wanted to watch the UFC fight. I read reviews praising the food and they couldn't have been more wrong. The Thai chicken appetizer was good, the shrimp and crab quesadilla had no taste and the ribs were dry and overcooked! We sat at an upright table that had the worlds most uncomfortable bar stools. Maybe I'm spoiled being from Chicago and frequenting the sports bars there but this place is a joke! On a good note we were able to see the UFC fight.

Decent food at reasonable prices. One server is an obnoxious jerk so we always ask first and if it's him we just ask for one of the girls.  I would recommend for a nice casual lunch or dinner. Lots of flat screens for the sports fans but not overwhelmingly loud.  Good variety, good quality, good service, good food.

This place was packed on a Wednesday eve, here is my guess as to why: large portions of good, inexpensive food and drink.  People love a good value and this place is loaded with it.  Great bang for your buck!

Cheap drinks and food, what else do you need.  My roomate and myself used to frequent this joint beacause we were living in Hollywood Beach.  Man I miss those days:)

It's a sports bar. What the hell does one want from a sports bar? Sports and beer! Everything else is optional, so you deal with it to get #1 and #2 above.

I have been to a certain small sports bar chain (with the "coldest beer") in the West Palm Beach area during baseball playoffs and World Series time on a Monday night where the manager turned every one of the 33 televisions onto football. I asked if one measly TV could show baseball and he told me to take a hike if I didn't like it. NOT AT ALE HOUSE!

I have walked into the FTL Ale House and seen several different baseball games on, asked for the Nationals game (EGAD!) and they ACTUALLY TURNED ON THE NATIONALS! That takes balls!! But I'm a D.C. boy at heart.

The food is good, not 5 star, but it certainly is not the pits. It is better than I have had elsewhere. Plus some of the staff and customers serve as eye candy if your meal is not to your liking, so there are multiple ways to soothe your pain, in addition to the beer.

The Fort Lauderdale Ale House is definitely on my short list of places to go when I want to go out for a drink or a meal and can't decide where. I know I won't be disappointed here.

I checked this place out yesterday for a birthday get together. It was ok, the service was pretty good and the prices were remarkable. 6 people drinks, apps and even a brownie :) for around $60.

This is a good place to go after a softball game or to break up with your girlfriend. It is definitely not upscale or very interesting. The TV's are nice to watch games, but they are all not very updated and the whole place could use a makeover.

I might go to this place again.

I call BS! This place is not the pits and I'm going to give it 5 stars just to balance things out. Why? Because is it NOT Chili's, or Friday's, or Ruby Tuesday's, or Bennigan's, or Applebee's, or ...do you get the point?

The Ale House in Fort Lauderdale is what it is, a good sports bar that's not a national chain serving up frozen vegetables and pre-packaged entrees to the masses. The Ale House is a decent sports bar with a good selection of beers, a good menu, and some great food and drink specials during the week. (It's hard to beat the $9.95 Prime Rib or 35 Fried Shrimp on Thursdays!)

Is it Ruth's Chris or Mortons? Hell no! Nor does it claim to be.

Last night I tried the Fish Tacos off of the new seafood menu; my wife tried the Corvina with a Lobster Beurre Blanc. We're not talking fine dining here at $12.95 each but in both cases the fish was appropriately seasoned and perfectly prepared. No big deal you say? Ha! I can't tell you how many times I've had dried out, over-cooked fish at much higher end restaurants than The Ale House!

Give the Pork Osso Bucco or the Fish and Chips a try then tell me how "awful" the food is here. Oh! And, our server Ian did a fine job, especially considering how many tables he was working.

Sorry if I'm over-reacting to that other review. This particular Ale House is one of our favorite casual places to run out to on those nights I don't feel like cooking. It just kind of irks me to see some tourist come on here and trash the joint!

    I feel better now.

This place is the pits.  Awful food and poor service.  They are all pretty much like this.  Go for the beer only if you must.

If you're looking for a bar that's like Chili's but with every imaginable domestic beer, this is your place.
