Streeter's

Since at the time I am writing this there is only one review on Streeter's which was  written in 2009 by an individual who never wrote another Yelp review but awarded Five Stars, my gut is that review is bogus; hence I felt compelled to write this one.

It's a dive-y little hole in the wall bar basically intended for serious drinkers who chat at the bar, play pool and darts. The crowd is basically mid thirties men with advanced bar room tenor voices, some missing teeth and rather loud mouthed heavy set women, some of whom are sporting dated, stretched out tramps on the top of their ass crack.

The drinks are reasonably priced, the crowd basically friendly though somewhat over the line intoxicated.

However, it is clean, orderly and well run with a most friendly, gracious, mannerly bartendress who not only efficiently performs her duties serving drinks but also fulfills the additional obligations of being a drunks best friend; not easy.

For what it is, a hole in the wall dive bar, it's not that bad and does live up to be exactly what it is meant to be, a dive bar that allows smoking and caters to heavy drinkers.

For a dive bar to hang in while doing some serious drinking, Streeter's is an OK place, though I've seen a number of better ones. Just know it for what it is, and if it happens to be your thing, you'll probably find it to be very nice.
