OK. So, they made it up to us with room upgrades and candy for the remainder nights. Bottom line is that they had to make a decision between inconveniencing us and inconveniencing another group and we lost. Still, not a pleasant experience. It's a tough business.
Besides the bumpy customer service experience, this is a run-of-the-mill Marriott. It's good enough for quick business travel. The staff, however, is very attentive. The restaurant is better than average without being great.
It was very nice and clean, but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable and small.
We booked at a AAA rate that included breakfast but since they had just started this promotion there was a lot of back-and-forth with the guy at the front desk to get it figured out. After all that they still charged us for breakfast and it was a pain to get it off the bill.
