I visited martini corner for the first time with a group of friends, and did not have a problem with dress code when i went to each bar until i went to monaco. The bouncer came up to me in line and said i cant let you in because your shirt sleeves are too long. As he is giving me hard time other people are going in with plain white tees and cheep shirts. i had a dress shirt and slacks on, but he didnt care. My friend went and talked to the bouncers and assured me that i could get in the club. I went back and then he told me that my shirt was too long, and that i couldnt tuck it in. I went back to another club and ran into several other black guys that were denied entrance into monaco for the same reasons, and they were dressed nice as well. I told the bouncer if you dont wanna let me in here because im black just say so, all he could say is you just cant get in and thats that.
Review Source:Let me start by saying the only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 2 is because the dj was the shit. Everything from deadmau5 to SHM.
The staff is rude.
My friends and I were interrupted 5/6 times by the "VIP" bouncer bc we sat or drinks on the supposed "VIP" ledge.
It's like dude chill. Would you rather me spill shit on the floor or set it down.
This place has potential. Great location.
So normally im a hole in the wall, alternative bar kinda girl but my job in coordination with  the monaco has put on a bunch of events. i always have a really great time when im there and the energy is always really high, great for dancing and meeting new people. it is a small space but they use it well. i have not only seen fashion shows being put on there but burlesque and drag queen performers as well. great place to throw a party too. and thats that.
