Hadn't been here in a while, as i only seem to go to one or two places in Cranford for 90% of my meals.

stopped by there this weekend, and wanted to relive my youth.

Ordered a Turkey Joe... and as much as i enjoyed reliving my past... i understand why i cannot and will not eat that sandwich on a regular basis.

The sandwich is three slices of bread, with turkey, coleslaw, and swiss cheese... plus a healthy amount of russian dressing.... and to top it off... what ever dressing comes out of the sandwich as they cut it... gets pasted right back onto the side.

such a "hot mess" as my wife would say.

but, it did bring back memories...  oh well... maybe in another 5-10 years i will try one again.

Excellent sloppy Joe's!  Reasonable prices for all sandwiches!  Friendly staff.  He's been there forever, on the corner of South & Walnut Avenues.  Well worth the stop!

Since I moved out of Union County I've had a hard time finding sloppy joes. I pass by this place about once a week for work and stop in each time to get a sandwich. The Joes are priced great, made to order and served quickly.
