Pretty sub-standard food but hey it's just 5 bucks.

I come from a large Chinese family, and so it's often less of a headache (both in terms of the time it takes to make ordering decisions and the actual cost of the meal) to go to a Chinese buffet than to go to a traditional sit-down Chinese restaurant.  That being said, this review is given in context of knowing what to expect from a Chinese buffet, having visited a large number of them in the past few years.

My review of this buffet will be brief.  A regular meal here: pretty sub-standard.  The food is mostly fried, and not very tasty.  On the other hand, if you come on Friday or Saturday night for the seafood buffet, the food is fantastic.  If you can deal with people rushing to the food bar when the Hong Kong-style lobster comes out of the kitchen, it may be well worth the price.

Awful on all levels. Service was horrible. The hostess just ignored us while we were waiting to be seated and just counted her dollar bills in tips. They advertised lobster an oyster seafood buffet, but we saw one total serving of it. The food selection was scant. The bathrooms were so dirty and there was paper towels everywhere. Lastly, in our only and limited serving of lobster, there was a long, black hair in it.

Won't ever be going back there.

if i had to choose between the couple of buffets that i been to in MN... i'd probably go with this one.  it has a couple of dishes that other places dont normally have that's worth mentioning:

the beginning parts of the crab legs - salt and pepper fried
    clams (dinner only)
buttered mushrooms vs. the typical black bean sauce ones

the beginning parts of the crab legs are offered for lunch and dinner but sometimes they fry it too much to the point where all you're eating is oil

the fried chicken wings are the best here compared all ALL buffets that i go to

this place is as cheap as you can get compared to NY (not more than $8).  just go for lunch tho, it's not worth it for dinner (+$2 and price is better for lunch anyway) if you're going just for the clams because the crab legs that they offer are really bland and tasteless and it's the smallest legs i've ever seen.
