Nyoh's Buckeye Bar & Grill

Being a country boy transplanted to Columbus, Ohio I have yearned to find a local corner tap watering hole that reminds me of home.   Luckily I found Nyoh's while out with some friends one night.  

The standard attire upon walking in of jeans, shirt and boots already tells me this is a bar that is relaxed and common folk.   The patrons are down to earth, bartenders are friendly and the beer is cold.    

If you are looking for a down home bar, give Nyoh's a try.

Nyoh's has very good beer and mixed drink prices, the bartenders are pretty good, and if you like country (I do) the music is good too. Will sometimes have live coverbands that play. The crowd is ok, if only for seeing chaches and country folks inter-mingle. Also has good food available if you want to try and sober up.

The only knock is that it's not on N. High St., but oh well; that is why you have DDs and taxis.

A solid bar where you can have a good time...if you like country music.

I have to award just two stars because I was tricked into going on Country night!  Every Tuesday is night is Country night.  Apparently it's the best on campus...even though it's not really on campus.  I did end up having a not bad time.  I don't do line dancing.  So that was a big negative.  The absolute best part of the night were the costumes (oh, I mean the clothes).  Well, second the the hotties in cowboy hats.  ...just can't help myself.
