Yolo,O-lounge,Vibe in my opinion as a whole. First off I've been to this place a few times and have always loved the decor and set up of the place. The atmosphere on the other hand off sets the place in a big way, in the fact snobby stuck up people tend to be the type of people that mostly accommodate the property. Its very easy to be visually taken in by a decent hangout spot but its another when the place attracts a lot of egotistical personalities and it definitely shows horribly.

The social playground usually is in full swing throughout the venue, commonly older men getting hit on by younger women looking for money "sugar daddy", older women trying to be 20 years old again, younger guys accompanied by attractive escorts, and people flaunting their money and status for attention. I did enjoy the outgoing nature of some of the folks there, they didnt have any problems hitting the dance floor and being silly at the O-Lounge and Vibe. It was pretty funny for what it was.

On a brighter note, the food was very good especially the Calamari. The menu is abit pricey but not that bad. The waiting and service was spot on and efficient, the waitress was very nice and got our food and drinks in a timely manner. The music that they play at Vibe and O-lounge is decent but too top 40ish on many occasions.

I found myself being very uncomfortable at times at the authority figures aka the 'suits' of the place. Namely a slim guy named Tom, who I have been told is a GM there is very rude and carries a bad aura about him. Very creepy guy. It became more than evident that there is discrimination for minorities going on, when me and my friends were able to get in the O-Lounge with no problems when a young lady was checking people in. But then I witnessed them turn away Black people every single time. I didnt think much of it until I asked some of them later why they were turned away, and they said the young lady at the door said they had NO SPACE left, which was very untrue, in the fact they allowed white people in. The chunky manager guy with the spiked hair named 'Brandon' I believe was in on it as well because he supported her story. Me and my friends havent been back since that night because of that act of racism and discrimination. Its disgusting and as much the venue tried to mask, it was more than apparent.

Overall, a nice looking venue with a high point in food, service, and trendiness but horribly fails in the most important department of ethics and respect for people of all races. If you can ignore the hideous flaws of the place then its not so bad but then again why would you. Take my review for what it is.

went for ladies night holiday party. Server came to us in outside seating and was very helpful. Great group of people that range in age from old to young.

Great feel and very close to Yolo if you wanted to go from one to other in downtown. Menu isnt that extensive but they do have a sampler which allows you to share with group if your there mostly to drink and dance.

This place refused a party of 10 just because one of the folks had 3/4 pants and apparently that is against their policy. Like that wasn't enough when we were waiting for the rest of our friends we had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to take our order and then 15 more minutes to get the check. Apparently the servers were all "very busy" talking to the DJ although the restaurant was empty at the time. There's a lot of options in the area so don't bother with the O Lounge.

Love this lounge!! I celebrated my 30th birthday with a group of 15 and had a blast. The crowd is definitely grown & sexi; which defines my current age group.
The drinks are very reasonable and the music was a mix of everything to keep all genres happy. I would recommend this place for a great night out w/ friends.

UBER classy.  A very nice place to get a drink or three before dancing.  Impeccably furnished.  Amazing bartenders and DJ's.  A real class act.  No complaints here.  Next to YOLO, one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale!  Could use more cocktail servers and a less severe vibe.  Pricey.

Wednesday nights is the day to go here. Cougars, pumas sugar daddys and your 20/30s something year olds all can be seen. Its the "nicer" part of downtown fort lauderdale compared to the 2nd street pubs and bars. Ladies night is from 7-10pm wine mixed drinks and beer. Even import beer. They have a raffle for the ladies to win gift certificates and have a lil app to curve the cougars and pumas  that come here.  You can float over to Yolo for the fireplace outdoors or walk over to Vibe next door but  here is the only place where ladies get their drinks for free and Free is for me!!

My other guilty pleasure of Broward...listen, this place has great food and a very low-key atmosphere because it is small, yet moderately stylish....it is nothing over the top but definetly not "just another restaurant" this is great on Wednesday Nights-my one gf hosts the ladies night there, and it is ALWAYS a great turn out....what else is great is that u r steps away from vibe...the aka mini-sobe wanna be club, that yes, i do luv. ;)

On my most recent visit to YOLO, I went on one of the busiest weekends in South Florida - Memorial Day Weekend. I wanted some good food and drinks that would hit the spot and YOLO was where I knew I would find both of these things. Being that it was the busiest weekend, there was a TWO HOUR WAIT FOR A TABLE!!! I was ready to be out and hit up the Ms Cheezious food truck I saw on the drive over but the hostess informed me that I could go to O Lounge and order off the YOLO menu! Interesting. I headed over there and I immediately liked the decor and the set-p of the lounge. They had a number of places where you could sit down and grab a bite to eat. The bar was on the far left wall and access to it was fairly easy. We grabbed a seat so that we can proceed to order some appetizers and some drinks while we waited for our table. My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it is nearly impossible to have a conversation with anyone in there without shouting as the music is a little too loud for a lounge. I'm not sure if it is always like this but it felt more like a club than a lounge. That was my only issue.

Our food came out quickly after placing our order. Our waitress was very helpful in assisting us with making food and drink choices. The bestie and I still managed to have funny convo (although it included quite a bit of shouting). After 2 hours, I was ready to eat my hand off so we went back over to YOLO and had an amazing dinner! After dinner, we were walking out and realizd that O Lounge was hyped up. Music was blaring at this point and the DJ was spinning some good tracks. At that point, we decided to do a little dancing and mingling with the people. There were a couple drunken fools in there but the security was tight so they handled the situation very quickly without any hassles. Really liked the fact that security was very quick and responsive to situations. They handled it before anything got out of control. Great job!

All in all, I'll most likely be back at O Lounge in the near future to do my drink and my 2 step (shout out to Cassidy)!

This is a great place to go unwind and just chill. It's in the same compound with Yolo and Vibe, so if you want to change your scenery (ahem.. people watching!) just head to any of the other two places. This is more of a professional crowd but not really uptight at all. The music can get a bit loud sometimes but otherwise great atmosphere.

Great place but watch out for the aggresive pickpocket losers!! My iphone was stolen out of my pocketbook while it was on my shoulder & snapped shut!! I heard this is wide spread up & down Las Olas!! The scumbag was caught but I'm sure he'll be around again.

I been here twice now, definitely going back.  I love the vibe and crowd.  It is a more young professional group, AKA Yippy!  Granted you have you few younger ones and much older ones but the mix is really nice.  There is Valet for $5 which is great because ladies do not have to walk far from a parking garage/lot to get there.  Drinks are price right, 3 cocktails cost about $26 that averages to around $8 a drink.

O Lounge is next to Vibe which is more of a nightclub.  The same follows with the crowd, vibe and drinks.

Great for networking events and might be cool for a birthday.  Would I come here solo or with just one friend, no.  O Lounge is bests with groups b/c that's how everyone there seems to come.  It's also grown and sexy, you won't see anyone tap dancing on top of the bars like they do at Off the Hookah.

Great ambiance, beautiful interior and cool crowd--- O-Lounge is next to Yolo Restuarant and provides a neat place to hang out before or after dinner.
