I was taken here for a surprise birthday dinner, so I had zero expectations before walking in the door. The lighting was appropriately dim and it created a nice atmosphere.
We ordred a platter appetizer that had baba ghanoush, hummus, grape leaves, and tabouleh. The plating was excellent, and it was delicious. It was probably the best baba ghanoush I've had in a long time. For my entree, I ordred the Lamb Tagine. The presentation was nice and I tasted flavors that I had never been introduced to before. It was amazing.
There was a belly dancer going around with a candelabra on her head. She was pretty good. There was a multi-colored lights flying around the room for the whole dinner, which was the only thing that I didn't really like.
The food was excellent, and I am definitely going back again.
My mom had purchased a Groupon for dinner for four...I was dubious, especially with the mixed reviews but it was EXCELLENT.  It was very appropriate décor and unlike other reviewers we had outstanding service.  From the beginning to the end, he was very attentive but not hovering.  We had two children in our party and he made adjustments for them.  We also had wine included in the Groupon, which we didn't consume so he made sure to send us home with some canned beverages to make up the difference.
Then there's the food...fresh pita and an excellent baba ganoush...which is how I rate my Mediterranean food. Â We did have some sausage app that I didn't love but I'm very particular about sausage. Â Two of us had lamb, the tagine and the couscous, both delish but the tagine was AMAZING...the sweet of the prunes gave the sauce a great flavor. Â The portions were huge and everything was fresh.
I would have liked some more dessert choices, however, the baklava was yummy. Â I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Orlando.
