Pearl's Place

Pretty fine chicken (wings) and waffles for a hearty breakfast.  Didn't need any lunch that day.

Biscuits come piping hot in the (piping hot) tray they're cooked in.

The good:  Excellent wait staff.

The bad:  It was Sunday, the after church crowd; we had to wait.  Wait to be seated; wit longer that we should have for food ordered from the menu that was ot a special.

The Ugly:
 
Green Tomato appetizer -  The coating had more flavor than the tomato that was undercooked.;  

The cup of Gumbo was more rice than gumbo with a skinny hollow crab leg shell sticking out of the cup with over cooked shrimp and sausage;

The Blackened Fish Entre was overcooked presented luke warm on top of tasty (seasoning seemed same base as gumbo) but runny red beans and rice; and the bread pudding was not good.

Regrets:  That I went on Sunday; did not have the buffet and did not protest the lukewarm food.

Oh well, it will be better next time.  After all things get stressed in my kitchen too.

Advice: Good eats are there; Order the Buffet  on Sunday.

Excellent food!! Excellent service!!! Excellent music!!! Did I mention excellent food!
