Pete's Pizza #2

I grew up at austin and irving.... My friend and I would get petes about once a week.  I own a small business in the neighbor hood and still order from here weekly and have them supply us with food when I throw parties.

In my opinion its the best deep dish in chicago.  

The tomatos and sauce is sweet and chunky , they dont skimp on the cheese and 2 slices and youre done with plenty of it left over for the day after.

I love petes and will continue to go to them for my deep dish cravings for many years to come.

Really yummy thin crust pizza. I always assumed the original petes pizza on western was top dog since they seem to be  larger and people tend to know more about this place then petes #2. Wow i sure was surprised when i ate my pizza at there restaurant. flavor was so good, and so fresh. really good sauce also. IT was really old school looking inside,but they were in the process of remodeling. Cant wait to go back. Original petes is good, but petes #2 wins hands down.

This used to be our favorite, go-to place to order take out pizza, but quality has been going down for quite some time now: sandwiches have been extremely dry and pizzas have been less than par with barely-there toppings.
