POV has, without a doubt, the best view in all of DC. It's an awesome place to meet up for happy hour, if a little pricey. If going with a large group, I would suggest reserving a table, because space does become a bit of an issue when it gets crowded. Lots of elbow bumping and "fullback plays" (using the person in front of you as a shield to navigate through a crowd). The difference between a 3 and 4 star rating for me was price and quality of the drinks. Depending on the bartender you get, it's possible that your cocktails will be severely over-poured and taste less than stellar - at nearly 15 bucks a pop, it's an expensive lesson to learn. But, as I'm sure many have mentioned, the view is worth the trip, even if you only plan on staying for a drink or two.
Review Source:I came here with my girls for brunch last Sunday. I had the French toast and bacon. Eh. It wasn't very flavorful and it was on thick multigrain bread which didn't work for me taste wise. They had chicken and waffles. I heard the chicken was flavorless and you only get a thin quarter of a waffle. Like literally I couldn't even see the waffle under the chicken. To make matters worse a pitcher of a drink, we had the bellini, was $65! way too much. Needless to say, you are paying for the fabulous view here, not the food or drink.
