This is the most average pizza you'll ever taste.  The good news is: it's also some of the cheapest pizza you'll ever eat.

At $1.50 a slice, it's an ok price to pay for pizza after the bars.  At 4.99 a large cheese (before 9pm), it's a great price to survive a couple days on a college kid budget.  I literally once ordered two of their large cheeses when I had $15 in my bank account and ate nothing but their pizza for the better part of a week.  That's what this place is: it's college pizza.

The pizza itself is decent.  The sauce is a fairly bland sauce that works VERY well.  It's not overpowering, nor does it taste like tomato sauce.  The cheese is pretty crappy, very generic pizza cheese, pretty greasy.  The crust tastes like a good frozen pizza crust.

If you're looking for pizza after drinking your face off at Maggie's, Brew Ha's, Lunker's or Medici's, this is a great pizza place to visit for a slice or two.

    Honestly?  Not that bad.

I'd say Prime Time Pizza is of the same caliber as Papa John's, which isn't horrid, it's just not that great.  Prime Time is especially good if you're drinking or you're really, really cheap.  We ordered a large pizza with two toppings and garlic bread with sauce and paid $18 for delivery.

Only complaint: the delivery process.  Like the previous reviewer, they could not seem to understand the address I was giving them.  Granted, the house we were staying in is kind of on the fringe of Normal in a subdivision in the middle of a cornfield, but aren't you familiar with the area if you deliver food all the time?  It took almost five minutes just to explain where our house was.  That's a little excessive.  However, that was just a hiccup in the rest of the process.  It did take almost the entire hour they quoted us to get the food to our place, but it was worth the wait.

Me and Prime Time started off on the wrong foot when I was in college. I placed an order for delivery and they asked "house or apartment," to which I replied "dormitory." "House or apartment?" they asked again. "Well, it's like an apartment I guess, but it's a dormitory" I explained. "Did you say apartment?" This went on and on. I couldn't believe that in a college town they couldn't understand what I meant by a dorm.
Anyway, this was a go-to place for late night pizza because they accept orders until about 3 AM on the weekends. The pizza isn't very good, but it definitely gets the job done. Unfortunately, it only gets the job done if it is delivered. Delivery would typically take about 45-1hour and they would have the wrong order about 50% of the time. I eventually had to boycott this place because I felt like I was in an abusive relationship. Prime Time just didn't seen to care about me. I erased the number from my cell phone (although it's impossible to forget: 888-9999) and have moved on.
