Sweet potato waffle fries are amazing...

    What a gem!
Rainbow lights, disco balls and zebra blankets.  (And free valet)
The food's great too...I got the cheesy over easy, a burger with a fried egg in it, YUM!  You get your choice of potatoes served several different ways, I got the home fries.
Saw a plate of pancakes being served to another table and they looked so fluffy!!!  Everything sounds and looks great.
Also, I went at around 1 on Saturday and the Bloody Marys were $3 and mimosas $5!  Crazy cheap, what a deal!
If you sit outside and feel chilly, the waiter will bring you a cozy little zebra blanket.
A must if you're in the area!

I hadn't been here in a long time and recently had lunch with a friend. I just love Rosies. The staff is friendly, the burger was amazing, and I'd go back sometime at night in a heartbeat!

Atmosphere, attitude, alcohol. Sounds like a Triple A rating to me.

I visited Rosie's with several friends on a Monday night. Even on this typically slow day, they were more than half full. Good sign, methinks to myself.

Rosie's has an indoor/outdoor feel, with large sliding glass doors. The decor is decidedly kitschy and exceptionally fun. I was entertained throughout my visit by various signs donning the walls ("love sucks! true love swallows") and menu items referencing GRINDER.

Great, friendly, fast service from our waiter and food runners. Even the bartender dropped a couple of drinks for us. Speaking of drinks, there are specials every night! On Monday, we enjoyed $5 Smirnoff martinis and $3 cocktails. That alone is worth the drive from Miami!

I split mahi tacos and the mahi ruben with a friend of mine, and enjoyed the dinner. The rueben was better, but what's not to love about an effin rueben? Especially for someone who doesn't eat meat anymore, this was a real treat.

A final word: S'MORES. I'm not a big sweets person, but dang was it nice to literally make my own S'mores. They supply you with a fire (sterno induced) surrounded by individual servings of graham crackers and ghiradelli chocolates, and of course, marshmallows. Our server was even nice enough to hook up a few extra chocolates.

Bottom Line: Fun, funky, and fit for frugal folks, this 305'er would recommend Rosie's any day of the week.

Hells bells.  Oh sugar.  What do we have here?

It's like eating in the middle of a rave - Patsy and Eddie would love it here - this bar is so hip it's not even a bar.  Plenty of characters.  Dog friendly.  Valet parking. Roomy bathroom stalls - what more could you want?

Me and my buddy didn't quite fit in here (I guess the appeal for hairy rough trade went out with tribal tatts)...anywho, DJ at brunch? It works here.  Our wait for a table wasn't long.

Bloody Mary's are absolutely lethal - delicious.  Waitress was quick with the drinks.  Burgers were spectacular with funky names - Ivana Trump (the memory of a burger named after her will linger longer than he does, don't you know).

OK, first I have to say that we love this place! With that being said I just don't get the "free Valet Parking". Is it ALL parking in their lot is VALET???? We pulled into the Restaurant and it looked like it was "self park" to your left and "Valet" parking to your right!! We ended up parking on the street (we have had problems with valet parking. ie broken windows) When we walked back into the parking lot, the valet person was pulling a valeted car out of Valet parking and parked it into a regular spot. If the entire lot is valet then i'm OK with that. BUT if those spaces are for self parking then I have a problem with it, hence you will never get a parking space on their property... Now usually we walk there but I just felt that that practice was a little shady.. I guess if it was any other place it would be no big deal but parking in Wilton Manors is at a minimum...BTW the food here has always been very good so far. Enjoy the outdoor dining..

If it weren't for the service and atmosphere of this place, I would have been highly disappointed. Everything on the menu looked delicious and when it arrived...disaster ensued.

I was so excited to try the hummamole as an appetizer and when I excitedly dipped into it I was shocked to find no guacamole in this concoction at all. In fact, it tasted as if they ran out of avocado and put carrots in instead. There were four of us in our party and all of us said the same thing.

You can imagine my disappointment when I realized that I had ordered a sandwich with the hummamole on it for my main dish. It was so bland that it tasted like nothing at all. Clearly the sandwich had been depending on the delicious mixture of hummus and guacamole and without that...there was nothing. The fries were equally as disappointing. How do you mess up french fries?

Like I said we had a great server and it was late at night as we sat on the patio so I would be willing to go back during the day and try again. This time, I would definitely order something different.

I have been here about 3 times now.  The food is still good and great service.  Thsi is a fun place to meet and eat.  They really entertained on election night.  I will always remember that election.  We had a wonderful time......  Try Rosies, you wont be dissappointed.....

This is a great WilMa establishment -- apparently a new institution!  Food can be a bit hit-n-miss -- mostly hit, though -- but you can't beat the atmosphere for al fresco dining and a happening crowd.

Loved it. Came a few Saturdays ago for a quick lunch. Busy but still super friendly staff. Angie at the bar was great. Made suggestions, even personal preferences about the menu which we appreciated. Shw was serving us and doing the service well, but never made us feel like she was too busy. Thanks!

I occasionally work within walking distance to this place and a few of the co-workers there recommended this place and I'm so glad they did. They didn't mention this was a "gay bar" as the description on Yelp calls it but it's apparent when you see the flamboyance when you walk in. The servers are friendly and casual in a good way. Outside seating is awesome if the weather isn't blistering. Food options abound but my favorite so far has been the shrimp BLT. The atmosphere is uplifting and upbeat. I wish I worked near Rosie's more often.

Great variety of burgers. I had the Elvis burger. It was great, though I would have enjoyed a little more peanut butter on it. Sweet potato  fries were average. Atmosphere is loud, but nice and casual. Eating out on the patio is nice on a good day! The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I was just recently introduced to Rosie's and wanted to ask, "darling, where have you been all my life!?" :)

The food is not only wonderful, but it's just plain fun, too. Check out the wacky burger names and combinations - and if you're a south florida burger aficionado, I think you'll agree they're as good or better than anything the trendy places have (Charm City, ROK Burger, Burger-Fi, etc)

I've now been for dinner - and another time for drinks. The Wednesday night Ketel One drink specials can't be beat ($4 for mixed drinks, $6 for martinis).

I can't wait to try their brunch. :)

Always a pleasure to dine in the alternate universe of Wilton Manors.  The cool breeze, happy hour and coconut shrimp make me want to sing "Wasting away again in Fagerittaville" like a gay Jimmy Buffet.  The staff is friendly and the drinks they make'll make you super friendly!

Good burgers. Tried the award winning Mojito burger with ham on top. Cooked well but could've benefitted from a great sear. Salad was healthy and memorable. Waffle sweet potato fries looked appealing. One friend had the fish and it looked appealing. Valet parking is helpful. We came from a wine tasting with a bottle and they obliged without a corkage fee (awesome).

Great place to meet with friends. I love the outdoor seating. This place is crazy busy on the weekends. It's a lot of fun. It is more about the atmosphere here than anything else. The food is alright, not the best, not the worst. Decent drink specials, but about those drinks, watch out as quite often they tend to be on the weaker side.

We eat and hang out at Rosie's more than we should. Great consistent food, unmatched fun decor and environment. Great service from servers and bartenders. Reasonable prices and a festive Sunday afternoon cocktail party after brunch. I love this place.

I do wish they would have kept their old valet service. The new one is not very organized and the attendants are not as nearly easy on the eyes. But heck, I try to walk or Green Hopper it over there anyway.

I sometimes forget that this place is open everyday, as I only find myself here on Sundays for brunch. I get that craving for a mimosa and WATCH OUT because no one can convince me to go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Rosie's is great for a relaxing Sunday Funday with friends, people watching, drinking, eating some of the BEST BRUNCH of my life. The past two times I've visited I ended up ordering their take on biscuits and gravy which include the use of chorizo in the gravy. This place is also known for their eggs benedict, but I stick to the wraps.

If you're feeling particularly interested in eating bad that day, you have to try the Great Balls of Fire which are big fried balls of mac and cheese with some of that oh-so-delicious chorizo inside. Slightly spicy, very cheesy, totally delicious. :)

Yes, Rosie's is an institution in Fort Lauderdale. But this graying lady needs some work done. As a vegetarian, there are two, count 'em two, options for me on the menu. One of them, the homemade vegetarian burger not only looks like it came from the fertilizer factory, even the waitstaff discouraged me from ordering it. And while I'm happy for the owner that the joint is always jumping, what use is the hostess telling me that she can seat me in two hours at which time they will no longer be serving food. Rosie, stop resting on your laurels and shake things up!

I had a great time at Rosie's.  It's a fun atmosphere, the service is great, and the food is very good.   It has a nice mix of customers, too.

David was the server for our table.  David has it all together.  He was very attentive and has a great sense of humor.  He was so good I'm going to ask for him next time I'm in Lauderdale.

    Rosies know's how to brunch!

Like everyone else, I love coming here on a Sunday for bloody mary's, mimosas and eggs Benedict!  It gets busy so arrive before noon to avoid a wait.  Dine on the patio and enjoy the colorful décor and beautiful South Florida weather.

I LOVE their Bloody Merry's and their Eggs Benedict! Sunday brunch is the best!
I always go there with my husband, he usually gets the burgers, he loves it too..

Four star just because the service gets a little slow at the bar...
... try to go before noon, it's less busy (if you're thinking about going for brunch")

Formerly Hamburger Mary's, Rosie's is located in The Drive within the heart of the gayborhood of Wilton Manor.

Rosie's offers and complete menu of hamburger's plus many other items as well as a full bar service, but they are best known for their hamburgers. They are very popular, so popular in fact that they happen to be the only hamburger joint that I know of that on occasions has valet parking in order to keep up with patronage.

Their hamburgers, and I've had a number of them all of different themes and varieties, are of top quality and accordingly top price as well.

The service is professional, friendly and accommodating with both indoor and outdoor seating, part of which is smoking, and a bar seating area. I've always found the outdoor patio portion perfectly pleasant except, now and then it must either be some drunken staff member or a one with a desire to deafen who goes berserk by turning up the music to an outrageous decibel rating.

The patronage is decidedly gay male, but a good mix of lesbian and straight, with each having no problem with the other, matter of fact decidedly friendly toward each other, and each of every age group.

Their hamburgers are good, though I think they are served with way too much bun bread. However at Rosie's you don't have to ask "where's the meat?" There is plenty of meat in those buns; of course referring to the food, not the gay boys.

Best place for Sunday brunch in the gayborhood.
This is a real traditional breakfast joint, with heavy carbs and fats, so if you're on a diet or watching your weight i would suggest eating at home.

I had the "Havarti Party" when i was here, a 3-egg omelet with slices of Granny Smith apples and Havarti cheese, and fresh thyme. I thought it was an interesting combo, and it worked famously! So delicious! And so much food.

Also tried the "Fried Green Tomato," eggs benedict served with 2 fried eggs and a tasty herb hollandaise sauce, red tomatoes, big onion rings, and fresh avocado. This was the best!!!

The bloody mary was just ok, could have done with something else instead. Service was a little slow as well, but it was a busy Sunday brunch day.

Chill place with friendly people. They had a DJ playing some awesome tunes and tons of TVs for the sports fans.

Ok. I think I just found another vice of mine. It's Rosies Mac-N-Cheese bites stuffed with jalepeno & chorizo then breaded and deep fried. Oh my lord Jesus-- help, I've fallen and I can't get up! Yummy. Can't do em often cause it would definitely lead to a heart attack, Paula Dean style. Dave our server was fantastic and adorable-- kept up with our requests and my high maintenance-ness! He did a great job.

    I LOVE ROSIE'S!!
I used to live down the street and could walk here.
The food is so original and delicious!
I love their burgers, holy cow ;) they are mouth watering!
Turkey burger is a great alternative too!
Seriously, everything on their menu is amazing.
Also a big fan of their coconut mojitos during happy hour! Woo Hoo!!!

I went to Rosie's for lunch today after reading so many good reviews. As expected, I was pleased.

I was warmly greeted upon entering and quickly seated. My server promptly arrived at my table, inquired about my day, took my drink order and had it back within a minute.

I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was perfectly cooked as instructed. I deviated from the burger on the menu and it came to my table exactly as ordered. The server was very attentive, which I appreciated.

I'm interested in checking out the nighttime scene at Rosie's.

I'm a fan and I'll be back for sure. I'm getting ready to relocate to Wilton Manors with my partner and Rosie's will surely be a regular destination for us.

If you're looking for a good gay restaurant in Wilton Manors then you should certainly checkout Rosie's. It reminds me a lot of the Hamburger Mary's I used to frequent in DC before it shut down.

Rosie's is where we go to recharge the gay battery. You can't help leaving without a pink aura.

I've had good experiences with the food here. The menu is a good laugh. Burgers are full of meat and sauce (like me). Love the stinkbreath burger with red wine and garlic, and the BBQ burger. Their potato salad is fantastic -- a hybrid between potato salad and a loaded baked potato. I could bathe in the stuff.

They also do a fantastic shrimp/bacon club sandwich, and this last time I had the "Center Square for the Win Salad," which the menu likens to Hollywood Squares' Paul Lynde -- fruity, cheesy and nutty. It was.

The crowd is always a riot, the music is SUPER gay, and the waiters are... attentive. We'll keep going back to Rosie's while we're here in the South Floridian outpost. It's a little slice of our Hillcrest home back from good ol' Sandy Eggo.

I am completely baffled how this place gets such rave reviews.

The food here is mediocre at best.  The portions are nice size.  I stay away from the seafood here.  More than once it has tasted to fishy (not fresh) and stringy.

Rosie's always seems to be where I start the evening when doing the usual Wilton Manors crawl (Manor, Alibi, Bill's, Sidelines). I came here this past Friday night with a group of 3, we were seated right away in the patio area and the server was there quickly to offer menus and to take our drink orders. Once we ordered our meals our food was delivered surprisingly quickly, especially considering how busy this place was. I had the She Bop Wrap (BBQ chicken, bacon, avocado, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and herb mayo) with a side of slaw, 2 Blue Moon drafts and the bill was under $20 before tip.

I like Rosies for many reasons, including: Fun atmosphere, good service from friendly and outgoing staff, good food at reasonable prices, a varied crowd and also a varied group of wait staff (i.e. something to appeal to everyone), free valet parking and a decent menu.

Note that this is a "Bar & Grill" and used to be called "Hamburger Mary's". As such, you'll mostly find burgers, wraps, salads and appetizers on the menu here (they offer brunch on Sundays as well).

Must remember - Brunch is ONLY on sundays.
(a guest was in town, REALLY craving brunch, and this is the first place that came to mind)

But... we were here for Lunch on a weekday, and still were NOT disappointed!

We started with the Krab Kakes and tomato aoili, with black bean, corn, and avocado salsa.  - MMM! These are usually under their Eggs Benedict, but as  a standalone dish, these were great! The three of us were fighting over who got more pieces of the 2 cakes it came with.

The Names of the dishes are so funny!

Ivana Hooker - is a blue cheese and bacon burger, with a side of onion rings. OMG, this was delish! 1/2 of this burger filled me up. so this is perfect to share with a friend :)

Wait staff are pleasant and helpful if you have any questions. and there's a Happy Hour special Every day of the week from 11-7pm.

Fun menu, fun atmosphere, $3 Bloody Mary's, and gay Easter bunnies everywhere.  This is my kind of place.

Went for brunch today, Easter Sunday.  The place is so cute, open air with colorful lanterns hanging all over outside.  The Bloody Marys we ordered were delicious, perfect amount of spice.  The menu had quite a lot of choices for brunch and the fun names of the dishes cracked us up.  I had the Crab Cake Benedict to eat and it was close to perfect except my poached eggs were overcooked and hard =(  It had great potential and the home fried potatoes it was served with were really good.

The wait staff was fun and friendly, everyone was all dolled up for Easter.  There was free valet parking as well.  This seems like a great neighborhood spot where you'd run into a lot of friends and acquaintances if you were a regular.  We'll be back next time we're int eh neighborhood.

Rosie's has indoor/ outdoor seating areas and is a popular venue for people-watching and watching people.  While food is really a second thought, the hamburgers are more than passable and the Key West shrimp sandwich is delicious.  The onion rings are not to be missed.
Rosie's is very generous to the community which it serves and always steps up to the plate for LGBT sponsored charity events.  Everyone's welcome here: young & old, gay, straight, and otherwise.  Rosie's is  uber groovy.

I've loved this place since it was called "Hamburger Mary's" & they gave you the bill in a patent leather pump. Put me in a reasonably priced eatery with gay decor (& atmosphere) located in Wilton Manors and I'm pretty much in heaven. You walk in and any gay culture connoisseur will revel in the "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane", Marilyn Monroe & Drag Queen artwork. Boas, leopard print and stilettos galore. And then there's the food.

The names may have changed (Hamburger Mary's always had the "Buffy the Hamburger Slayer" turkey patty optional burger that was to die for), but the quality is the same. Delicious and sizeable burgers (their turkey burgers are tasty and juicy - a rare find!)  and salads - all with super kitschy names. Sunday morning they have brunch - the Banana Nut waffle (can't get enough of the banana nut butter served with it) or the Miss Truvy's french toast are to die for (arguably the best french toast I've ever had). If you don't have much of a sweet tooth, you could always have one of their "Big 'Dicts" (eggs benedict that is) or omelets. And to wash it all down? $5 Mimosas, $3 Bloody Marys, or a bucket of beer for $8.

The food & decor may be fabulous, but what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. Every time I go it's always packed. There's a sense of community here that is contagious. Everyone's having a good time & enjoying each other's company. All in all, one of the best (gay & otherwise) diners in all of South Florida.

The food here is beyond AVERAGE.  Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying through their teeth or from Idaho (sorry Idaho-ians, had to knock somebody).  And the prices, both food and drink, are WAY too high.  The staff are friendly and entertaining and the place looks presentable.

I won't even begin to mention what I found in my food the last time I was there.  The kitchen is definitely not cleaned regularly, to put it mildly.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, no matter how I disliked them.  Seriously, I would recommend the cockroach filled bean burrito at Taco Bell before I ever mentioned Rosie's.  SERIOUSLY.

We saw their Sunday brunch ad in one of the local gay publications, so we went there for Sunday brunch. I wasn't aware that it used to be Hamburger Mary's. If anything, that just would have stopped me from
going, based on my experiences with the one in West Hollywood.

The food was good, but  nothing to write home about. The service was decent. The portions are pretty good for the money.

I think the place is popular beacuse of the eye-candy. Practically, they have a waiter for everyone's type. They're all cute and hot in a way.

I liked it and wouldn't mind going back for another brunch if I'm in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Well actually, This place was once named Rosie's then Hamburger Mary's and now back to Rosie's. This was the highest grossing Hamburger Mary's in the country and for good reason.

The food is the good but not great category. Service is usually done with a smile and free valet is a plus. Dont go during peak times as the wait is worse than Cheesecake Factory at 9pm on a Saturday. ***Rosie's does the beeper thing too.***

Lots of cute boys and girls... but its all about the same sex!

Once known as Hamburger Mary's, Rosie's ,on the North side of Wilton Manors, retained most of Mary's trendiness while loosing some of it's clientele (though they are trickling back).  The food is sometimes fresh and sometimes not-so-fresh, depending on what you order.

Both the food and the service seem to have gone up a notch since the name change. The price went up a notch as well.

The outside patio, Rosie's biggest draw, is a great place to enjoy the beautiful South Florida weather and cruise the area locals and visitors alike.

Live music, another draw to the patio area, occurs several days a week, and is usually lively and loud.  If you want a quiet night out with the boys (or girls) this is NOT the place to go,,,but if you're in the mood for a mixed drink, a decent burger, and some people-watching, then head to Rosie's !

Rosie's added quite a few new items to their menu in November of 2009, including more "healthy" choices, like veggie and turkey burgers.  Both had really good flavor and are highly recommended.
