Saint Vitus

This is the spot if you're into metal, hardcore, industrial, ambient, noise, or basically anything that's just plain weird music. Located just a hop, skip, and jump away from the Brooklyn/Queens border, Saint Vitus hosts several shows a week featuring local acts, up and coming touring acts, or bona fide legends. Great drink specials, not to mention the delicious buns available in a variety of options (cheesesteak, pulled pork, BBQ tofu, kielbasa, veggie sausage, and veggie chili) . Even if you're not into metal, you'll appreciate the dive bar atmosphere.

Good venue! I saw Intronaut and Scale the Summit; the sound guy took a while to get the levels balanced, but everything turned out well. Cheap drinks and the buns are tasty. If you like metal, definitely check it out!

I love this bar: the music, the buns, the attitude, etc. My only criticism? The bartender beard standards have been lowered since the last time I was here.
