This place seems to be going down hill fast.
The crowd gets younger and younger and the service is just poor. Â When you have to go up to the bar to get yourself a drink while watching your waitress at one table flirting, then you have officially outgrown the place.
O well. Â They are digging their own grave. So much potential. When the management finally steps in and does something I think it will be too late.
Saint's is alright, nothing super special, but a great hangout, especially for the younger crowd. They have good specials, Wednesdays are 50 cent wells which brings in the biggest crowd (bigger than even Fri & Sat.), so come early if you expect a table. The service is pretty good. If you get a table, they have bus boys constantly clearing your empty glasses and waitresses constantly asking if you need one more!
The mix of people Saint's brings in boasts a wide range, primarily younger people but I've seen older folks as well.
They have a wide bar, offering even New Belgium's 1554 Black Ale- one of the only bars in KC I've ever know to have! (And I've been to a few) and also offer pool tables, a few video games, lots of seating, and a great patio- which might I add, is screened off during rain and screened/heated during cold temp.'s to provide comfort for smokers/ outdoorsy people.
It is a favorite 'watering hole' amongst my social circle, and I've met many people here from out of town who really enjoied their time there. If you're looking for good prices and a very social atmosphere, Saint's is the way to go.
