A friend suggested we meet here for dinner. The service was decent. I had the California Chicken Sandwich (Grilled and seasoned chicken breast topped with Monterey Jack cheese, sliced avocado & avocado ranch dressing. Served on a New York onion roll) with curly fries. It was tasty, although, I could do without the onion roll. I would try this sandwich again either on a different bun, or with no bun at all. - One cool thing, is you can earn Upromise Dining Rewards at this establishment. I earned $0.50 for Sallie Mae :)
Review Source:I've been to Talk of the Town a few times now and each experience has been different so I'm not too sure how I feel about the place. Â I guess I would consider it a sports bar. Â There are tv's all over the place so no matter where you are sitting, you will have no problem seeing the game. Â The place is pretty small compared to other sports bars in the area. Â There are some tables throughout the place, but if it gets crowded, it's hard to move around.
Drink prices are average. Â I'm not sure I've ever been in the place and really got a "special". Â The food is pretty good. Â It's your typical bar food. Â I love their waffle fries! Â Perfectly crispy. Â
Overall, Talk of the Town is a great little neighborhood bar with plenty of TV's to watch a game and eat some decent bar food.
