Ordered carryout from their website - which was super easy and included a 15% off coupon!

When I went in to pick up (in 15 minutes) the lady informed me that if you call in your order, you get a free pop as a carryout special. However, if you get 15% off online you don't get the pop, but then she gave me one anyway!

Easy, fast, and my calzone is delicious. Lots of veggie options too...

Sarpinos is our favorite pizza place by FAR. They use the freshest ingredients, have wonderful and interesting topping combos and really aren't much more expensive than anyone else. We have always had fast delivery and every single pizza we have ordered has been delicious!

I found Sarpino's to be like bad booze on a rough night: It's not what you would have wanted had you the choice, but it scratches the itch.

Delivery:  Standard.  Took about an hour, and everything was hot when it got here.  And they deliver until 3 am.  And delivery is free, so, hey, bonus.

Pizza:  Meh.  Fine, I guess.  Very doughy.  If we do this again I might go for thin crust.  I'm sort of into doughy pizza, but it was doughy even for me.  Each slice was just heavy under the weight of the doughiness.

Toppings:  Superior.  Pepperoni covered damn near our whole pie.  One-up on PIzza Hut, whose shitty pizza I actually like, but they are SUPER stingy with toppings.

Dipping Sauce:  Hard to say, because we ordered the creamy garlic but got saddled with marinara instead.  Why would I want marinara?  There is already tomato sauce ON the pizza.

Wings:  Do not want.  They're baked, not fried, which some people may be into.  But unfortunately this left the skin very chewy/gooey even though I ordered them well done hoping to combat "wing sogginess," which plagues all delivery wings.  They were also fattier than a lot of other wings I've had and I ended up on a weird, gooey hunt for actual chicken meat.

Also, the menu calls them "Buffalo" which is a misnomer.  These wings are certainly spicy, but they are dry.  There is no Buffalo sauce and there is no Buffalo flavor.  Big, big disappointment on the wings.  I would avoid, especially because at about $1 per wing, they ain't cheap.

Price:  Menu pricing is high for what you get, but if you order on the website you can see "Store Specials" which should save you some dough (GET IT).  You also get 15% off for ordering online.

Pizza, calzone, salads, etc!  I've ordered multiple times from this location and I get it fast and hot and always good!  No delivery fees either!

The pizza wasn't bad.  Most pizza isn't bad.  It wasn't that good though and the price seemed a bit high.  The sauce was too sweet for  my taste and the crust was too doughy.  Chewing it made my jaw muscles tired.  I much prefer dominoes if you're going the route of cheap pizza.

Sarpino's is a great pizza delivery option, especially if you live near this one or any of the several in the city because you will get it piping hot.  I love how easy it is to order online, and the variety of online coupons you can pick from insures you always get a great deal.  The toppings are great, the crust is good for a thicker one (I usually prefer thin crust), but the sauce is a little sweater than I like.  My fav order is two small pizzas (2nd one is half-price) so that both my husband can have exactly the toppings we prefer.  Of course, Sarpino's also makes it easy to order half/half toppings on a larger pizza too.  We sometimes add an order of cheesie bread with the small pizzas, which is really more than we should eat, but we proceed to stuff ourselves to the brim.

YUM YUM YUM! I had a pizza craving a few nights ago in the middle of the night. My loving boyfriend didn't want to go anywhere, so I decided to give Sarpino's delivery a try. Was I pleasantly surprised!!! By the time I was done with my order on the phone, the delivery guy was already here! It took them about 15-20 minutes to get my delicious Greek Pizza to me nice and hot.
They even made sure they called the phone instead of ringing the bell like I had asked so they wouldn't wake up the little one.

A+ on everything. From the customer service, to the prices, to the food!

I've lived here 5 years, and tasted pizza from almost everywhere, but I just tried Sarpinos for the first time this past week (due to late night delivery) and loved it! Just ordered it again.  It's good!

I recently ordered pizza delivery from Sarpino's, thanks mainly to a menu stuck on my front door (wow, the menu on the door works!). I was ordering pizza for my friend who was trying to feed a bunch of hungry movers. The delivery came at the exact time that I had asked for, and the pizzas were a hit with the group as well. We went with a sausage and pepperoni (sausage slices rather than the more typical sausage chunks) and a spinach and mushroom combo. Both varieties were good, with what I would call a medium crust. There are some interesting-looking specialty pizzas for the more adventurous palate. The menu lists a bunch of special coupon offers, so mention the one that fits your dining needs for a slightly better deal. Considering I live only blocks from Marie's I never thought I would ever order from Sarpino's, but this was a unique situation and by all accounts the Sarpino's pizza was a good choice.

I've ordered from Sarpino's before and it was fine. This time around I ordered a pepperoni with bacon bites pizza (mmm), BBQ wings, and cheese sticks, which was all finger-licious good. I got three types of dipping sauce: garlic, jalapeno, and chipotle. All this cost $23 which was more than enough for 2 people.

I would order from them again.

I didn't realize this was on par with Domino's/Pizza hut, I should have read the reviews closer. So, with that being said, I don't think I can fault them for the taste or quality.

I ordered the Spinach Special, which sounded good in theory. It had spinach, garlic, leeks, green onions, multiple cheeses... as I said, in theory, it sounded delicious. I don't like a doughy pizza, and this is very doughy. Oh - and there's no sauce (?!). They send you a tiny little cup of marinara to dip the pizza in, which was gone after 1 1/2 pieces.

All in all, the other half ended up in the garbage, as I didn't feel like blowing the calories on bad pizza.

It's cheap, that's for sure, and if you order online, you get a 15% discount. Delivery was fast too.

    It is what it is.

They delivery late and for free.  That might be enough af a reason to give them so many stars but the sandwichs are pretty good too.  I wasn't a big fan of the cheese bread but it was ok.

Cheap and fast.  Makes sense to me.

This Sarpinos is terrible. I ordered from one off of Montrose until this one opened and Montrose would no longer serve us. The cheese is always burnt and there is never enough sauce. The pizza is dry and burnt. I then started ordering just salads from them and switched to another pizza place. I have ordered the same salad from the same location probably about 20 times. The past few times they get my order wrong every time and they have horrible customer service skills. I have finally had it and will send all of my business elsewhere. I highly recommend finding another place if you are looking for decent pizza and customer service. I made a yelp account just to write this review.

Oh my, my... this pizza is fabulous!

    A) They always have delivery.  So convenient.

    B) They always have coupons.  So awesome.

    C) They have an amazing selection of specialty pizzas.  So yummy!!

I love the taco pizza (trust me, it's good) and their cheesy bread.  I could eat that every day and still love it.  They have a ton of pizza options and specials if you order two of the same size (second one is cheaper).

Delivery is always quick and this is a great option for parties or a night at home when you don't feel like cooking.  Never too expensive and always open.  What more could you ask for?  This is - hands down - my favorite delivery pizza in the city (sorry, Pizza Metro).

Nice email once my delivery was "out"

The BLT on French bread was good. I chose to add garlic butter sauce.
The Baked Lasagna 4 stars by my cousin's descriptive sound and gesture.
Chicken tenders were no match for my goddaughter

Update 9/10/11: These assholes lost a customer. I'm never ordering from them again.

Ordered a pizza. While waiting noticed an ant infestation around garbage can in the customer area, that was chock full; pointed it out to counter man. He thanked me, did nothing. Got the attention of one of the kitchen staff, she said it was someone else's job. Upon looking into the kitchen area I saw another overflowing garbage can, and stuff on the floor.

While waiting for the pizza (about ten minutes), no one came to change the bag in the ant garbage, the top of the bin was pushed open by the content.

Got a refund, called 311 and made a sanitation complaint.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was (had the garlic and the pepperoni). Definitely better than P. H. or L.C.'s! My son picked it up after we ordered over the phone, so I don't know anything about the ambience. Our 2-for-1 coupon made it reasonably affordable--prices are a bit high.

For the best deals, go into the store and study their menu and advertisements and for goodness sake's do not ask for their opinion.  I had a BoGo coupon and for what I wanted would have saved approximately six dollars if I had stuck to my guns about my order.  Dude at the counter insisted his deal was better and voila, charged an extra six - seven dollars.

    Goof.

Pizza was alright, kids dug it and usually I feel good about my purchases at Sarpino's.  But this dude, rubbed me the wrong way.  I'll probably go back, I used to frequent the Lakeview location but this one is much more convenient and open later than silly Domino's.  For fast food pizza, it's better than Domino's and Little Caesars.

Are you people eating the same pizza I am? This is the worst pizza I have ever had. I prefer Dominos or Pizza Hut over this crap. The sausage? Slices of meat. I just don't get it. It's awful. Bad. I am actually considering driving it back to the restaurant and getting my money back. It's horrible. Let's not even talk about the fact that it's cold. Blech.
Let me also point out that my 6 year old brought me the plate back and said "yuck."
    Point taken kid.

    Here's the deal:

Sarpino's delivers decent food. It is a chain and its recipes were obviously developed to both please the masses and to keep costs down, yet the food is always hot, fresh and reasonably tasty.

If I were rating Sarpino's for the food, I'd probably give them 3 stars. However, Sarpino's gets an extra star for its service, website and the fact that ordering from Sarpino's is typically a good value.

    First off, the website:

The website makes ordering quite easy, and it's set up to allow specificity in pizza ordering (i.e. You can specify which half of the pizza on which you want your ingredients, indicate whether you want a dark or light bake, etc). You'll get an email when Sarpino's receives your order, then when it begins to prepare your order and one more when your order is out for delivery.

    The Value:

Check out the "Store Specials" at the bottom of the left-side nav bar. These can save you a ton of money. My personal favorite is the Pizza & Wings special: 1 14" pizza with 2 toppings, a pound of wings, and a 10" garlic breadsticks. Plus, you get your choice of dipping sauces with each item. The cost? $19.99  I normally get about 3 meals out of this package.

But wait...there's more! Delivery is free and on the last page you can click the coupon box and get 15% off your order, just for ordering online.

    The Service:

Super fast and super friendly delivery. I normally get my order in about 20 minutes. The food is hot and in good condition.

    Recommended.

Yes! This is my new favorite pizza place!

Sarpino's pizza is really good. I think it's pretty comparable to Pizza Hut, though I think Sarpino's tastes better and is of a higher quality. I also like Sarpino's because of all the specialty and gourmet pizzas they offer, which set them apart from other places.

My favorite is the Pesto Lovers pizza. It comes with grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, peppers and cheese. We've also ordered Sarpino's Alfredo Chicken and Capo Siciliano pizzas, both of which were really good. We've tried the Marinara and Ranch dipping sauces, and both were good, though I don't think their pizza needs dipping sauce; I think it's tasty enough on its own.

I recommend trying any of their specialty or gourmet pizzas, just because I would imagine anything on Sarpino's delicious crust would taste good. I've also had their regular pepperoni pizza, and it was simply delicious. We usually order the buy any large or extra-large specialty or gourmet pizza and get a medium 1-topping pizza free, which I think is a pretty good deal (specialty/gourmet pizzas are $21 each).

Another thing that sets Sarpino's apart from other pizza places like Domino's ($2 delivery charge) or Pizza Hut ($2.50 delivery charge) is that it offers free delivery. Sarpino's delivery is really fast, and their delivery staff is friendly.

I saw in one of the other reviews that Sarpino's offers a 15 percent discount when you order online, but I actually find their website kind of confusing, so I prefer to call in my order.

Overall, I think Sarpino's is great. I would definitely recommend trying any of their specialty or gourmet pizzas, or even their pepperoni pizza is delicious. Good stuff!
