Sky Terrace

The sky terrace at the ivy hotel is breathtaking ive never been greated by a more helpfull good looking host who visits each table to see if the service, food and drinks are up to par. if your looking for a place that is a hidden gem in the city this is the place to go. not to mention they treat all their guest as vips. not to mention the veiw is breathtaking. and Doug the bartender is one of the best in the city his drinks are always the best.

Decent view and very comfy chairs.  It's not the greatest rooftop in the city, but the bar is pretty cool-looking and I wouldn't mind coming here again.

This place just opened so a group of us who looove rooftops decided to have a Friday evening happy hour here. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooftop just as gorgeous. Wonderful comfy seating and well placed plants (separated seating spots/ groups).

The view is not so great...but the breeze sure is. :-) It was as if you weren't in the city anymore but your own little comfortable world...haha.

When I saw the drink menu it was exactly as I expected...my friends were a bit shocked at the prices but hey...we are at a hotel rooftop in Streeterville...what do you expect?

I ordered a regular Mojito and mango Mojito and they were both delicious....but where was the alcohol? You see I am a lightweight...after two mixed drinks I should have felt at least a little buzzed...I felt nothing...so I decided not to bother with a 3rd drink (I should have ordered beer or wine!)

I think this place is a great place to get a drink with friends and talk...because the music wasn't loud and the setup really is for groups and conversation.

Everyone was also very friendly...(.except our waitress who seemed to want us to get out of there)....from the receptionist downstairs...to the workers we met at the elevator...even the manager chatted with us. :-)

Glad I got to check out this place before it gets cold!
