Slo Tom's Lounge

Grungy old dive bar, but great friendly bartender (Tom's wife!) who regaled us with stories about the neighborhood, the customers, other businesses in the area, her old dog "Fat Girl" who used to protect the bar... we walked in and a pit bull / boxer mix was standing on the pool table, intimidating to look at, but she was our friend as soon as we started playing with her!! Smoking is allowed here, so doesn't smell the best, but a good time.

Oh, the owner told us that it (01/07/12) was their last night to be open, they had sold and new owner wasn't going to be able to open right away.
