I despise this Subway, and for one very good reason: the employees here are terrible.
I work nearby and used to come here for a bite to eat. Â When Subway rolled out their breakfast I was really excited because I often came here around 6-6:30am and obviously it would be great to have a breakfast item instead of a meatball marinara sub!
Well, the event which turned me completely off to this particular location was when I went one morning to get a breakfast item and was told that they do not serve it until 7:30am. Â Now, keep in mind, this is not like McDonald's where there's a whole different routine to make breakfast. Â Basically, you just put an egg patty on the sub instead of meat and throw it in the TurboChef like any other sub sandwich. Â Even after pointing this out, the "sandwich artist" refused to make me a breakfast sub - I told him I wasn't going to order anything and that didn't make him budge either. Â When I asked why 7:30 (which seemed really late, and really arbitrary) he said "That's when people eat breakfast." Â I sincerely hope this guy is not the manager.
I called the store later in the day and the person I spoke to said they "officially" start breakfast at 7, but of course, they can always make breakfast items. Â Unfortunately when I want to go get my breakfast sub the survey-taker from the National Breakfast League is working, so I'll probably never go here again. Â Which is too bad, because I really liked the breakfast sandwiches.
i used to come here quite often during my lunch break from work.  i have had the brocoli soup which i love ! , steak and cheese toasted which is good ! , and the terayki which is ok i really have had better . subway is extremely expensive for me 5 dollars for a sandwhich but its like the cheapest thing in the area . this location didnt have the 2.49 daily sandwhich at the time when it was popular which sucked . but i absloutely love the staff. being a regular , as soon as i came in they knew what i was getting , and often got freebies or discounts  from the employees lol [ sorry ] which was nice since i came in all the time . the manager is really sweet and usually gives out coupons for that location and her other location in garfield park . she usually gives out maybe 2 or 3 sometimes with pretty good deals . sometimes during lunch hours it can be EXTREMELY crowded but most of the time its ok , maybe 4 or 5 ppl ahead of  u and they make ure sandwhiches really quick . im giving it 2 stars bcuz of the service and the food is ok and u get free refills lol .
Review Source:Came here earlier and got 2 foot long subs.
Surprisingly the guy put decent amount of veggies on the sandwich since the last time they were skimpy on it. Last time my sister came here, she asked for extra green peppers and the girl literally snapped one piece in half and that was it.
They have a promotion going on where you get game pieces. We did get none! They had a sign saying they were out of game pieces. I asked the lady and she was like We just out of the game board and the pieces are on the cups. Whatever, she didn't know what she was talking about because it's suppose to come on the wrapper for the subs.
This is a big no-no. We had a Subway gift card and she said they couldn't take it or don't take it because they can't find the thing to swipe it or something! WTF!
