Somewhere, there is a land of divorced, 40-year-old business professionals and Suite Lounge is their king.  It's a small, intimate place so coming in here, you can observe the human species participate in common mating rituals.  All the men are nicely suited up at 11:00 PM while subtly flashing their keys to their Porsche.  What is it with Porsches?  Does it give you boob massages as you're driving?  They're attentively eyeing the entire room and buying every nice girl they see a drink or five.  Yawn.  This place is an absolute bore.

I was here on a Friday night with my coworkers for like the whole night and it wasn't crowded one bit.  My group was probably the rowdiest group and that's saying a lot.  Normally, we are probably as rowdy as a litter of newborn kittens.  Many of the people there were either alone and drunk (surprise) or with a friend or two who seemed like they were there to really hang out with each other.  I respect that but was disappointed at the lack of energy in the lounge.  It's listed under as a dance club/lounge/bar and what I thought I was in was a cradle to put me to sleep.  The atmosphere is too relaxing, if there is such a thing.

The women working there were all fantastic, attentive, and nice.  Obviously, they are quite attractive as well.  They are quick to take your orders.  Before I could even greet my coworkers, my server asked me what I wanted to drink.  Either I look like an alcoholic or she was just as bored as I would become later that night.  They make cocktails pretty well here, not too stiff and not too watered down.   The food here is completely forgettable.  I don't remember half of the stuff that was ordered because it didn't taste very good.

Don't get me started on the aerial performance.  This was the only thing I was looking forward to the whole night.  The dancer just wrapped her body around the fabric on the way up and spun herself down.  That was it.  What kind of performance is that?  As the night went on, it was also becoming the best lullaby ever.  I don't recall even hearing music that interested me.  It was more like elevator music.

I would not recommend this place unless you're in good and interesting company.  I wouldn't want to wish that level of boredom on anyone.

"SUITE" at the Bellevue Hyatt is beyond Perfection.   I just had my 50th Birthday it was a Private party with a 70's dress code it was was AMAZING!!  Kate, Katherine and Tanya (the amazing Dessert Chef) were beyond AWESOME to work with....they created a Pertlfect Birthday for me.  The food was top notch and the drinks were filled with alchohol no skimping at all.  DJ rocked the 70's music  The staff was always there to help and super kind.   LOVE the SUITE

They host events for my building every month, and I have to give credit where credit is due; they really roll out the red carpet.  Free food, free signature cocktails (that are very good) and a really friendly staff.  While I'm too old to spend a lot (or any) of time in a nightclub, they do a really good job of hosting events.  If your company is looking for a venue, you should give Suite a call. Hats off to the entire team here , keep the events coming, and I'll keep coming back.

I just got off the phone with the general manager, Kate, because I was wanted to give her a fair chance to handle the situation before making my review, but she has just solidified my opinion that this place is a complete scam when it comes to hosting your events. DO NOT GO HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

I arranged to have my birthday party here. The birthday package comes with three things: decorations (fine), a birthday dessert (never got it. In fact, they brought someone else's dessert and took it back. Tacky), and champagne (I asked for it to be brought out any time before midnight because my birthday was at midnight. They brought it out at around 1:30am, after me asking for it several times, with only three glasses. My friends couldn't even drink it! Why did I pay for that?)

You have to pay $250 to reserve a table. I told the waitress, Karen Nicole, when we first got there to tell me when we were close to the $250 mark and when the tab was closed. I asked her at least two times throughout the night to let me know when we had reached the $250 mark. My friends also tried to pay for their drinks, but were told that we had not reached the minimum for the tab. I told them to go ahead and use it up; I didn't want any money left over to use.

At the end of the night, I was brought a tab that was around $650. I told the waitress that she hadn't told me we were even near the $250 mark, let alone that it had been used up and gone on to rack up a $650 charge. She told me that when she had brought me a round of shots for my friends, she had told me, and I had responded "that's fine, let everyone keep putting drinks on my tab, I'll cover it." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT IN MY LIFE. Every time I have a tab for a birthday, I close it once we reach the amount and everyone pays for their own drinks after that. The fact that she looked me right in my face and lied, I have never run across someone so unprofessional. In the end, many people had left, and a few of my friends ended up paying hundreds of dollars for the tab. They would not have spent that amount of money if we had not been told that the tab limit had not been reached.

After explaining the situation to the general manager, Kate (I think was her name), her response was that she believed the waitress's story that she had told me the tab limit had been reached and I had told her: That's ok, ALL DRINKS ARE ON ME!! Ha! Then she had the nerve to insult me by telling me that she didn't want my group back anyway, because she had heard from security and other waitresses that a few girls from my table were causing problems with other tables. Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! My friends have not ever and would not ever cause problems with anyone. Causing problems is a waste of our time! We were never interacting with the other tables and we NEVER spoke with security. I can't even believe she would say something so crazy and insulting.

Long story short, don't worry Kate, we won't be back.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! My friends and I reserved a table for a birthday party that ended in horrendous customer service about our billing. Our server Karen Nicole and Kate the general manager were beyond insulting and unprofessional. Kate had the nerve to call us back rudely regarding the issues we had and made up bold lies, I am in utter shock.

I will be sure to tell anyone who will listen about our experience and will never step foot in this establishment even if you paid me.

Where's the customer service? Shouldn't the general manager try to build not break a companies reputation?

    Ok.  THE END!!!

This place needs to get a proper EDM dj in there.  DJ Cide is an improvement over the drunk uncle who used to spin there, but it was totally amateur hour there.  List of the problems:

    1.  His method of "blending" songs together is to basically stop the music, throw a bunch of idiotic scratching straight from 1992 in there, then start the next song.
    2.  He has ZERO sense of what the crowd wants to hear.  He would spin something CLOSE to a decent track or two and the dance floor would get a little more full, then he would spin RAP.  Yes, that's right, R-A-P.  Dance floor empties, and three asstastic songs later, he starts spinning a group of 70's smash hits.  DUDE!  JUST SPIN MODERN CLUB HITS.  THEY ARE HITS FOR A REASON!  If you can't read the crowd, just set up your playlist in advance and push play.  Billboard:
    <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.billboard.com%2Fcharts%2Fdance-club-play-songs&s=acfa832194b5f4fd76aa723662162bbab0d020479c3391882ceaf76afa084ec0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.billboard.com…</a>
    3.  OH!  He did just that!  He left the booth for a good while and pushed play.  Oddly, this was the highlight of the night.
    4.  When he returned, He seemed drunk or high.  He could barely keep his eyes open, and out comes the rap even more.

The good about this club remains, which is why it still gets TWO stars:
    1.  It is beautiful.  They really did a great job setting this place up.
    2.  The demographics.  The people are good looking.  Average age between 26 and 37 with a long tail (some 21 and some much older), and little to no people who are looking for trouble.  People who want to have fun, and it's not possible with this god awful music.
    3.  The bartenders are attentive and seem to really bust their asses to get everyone their drinks.
    4.  They have good crowd control to avoid overcrowding.  They stop letting people in much before other clubs would do that, so you can actually move through the club.
    5.  Incredibly convenient.  Eastside, so no urine and drug dealers to walk through.  Inside the Hyatt hotel so free underground parking, so no walking outside in the rain and cold.
    6.  Safe.

OWNERS:  YOU HAVE A GEM HERE!  DON'T LET IT SLIP THROUGH YOUR FINGERS WITH MUSIC OR DJ ISSUES.  PEOPLE WERE LEAVING QUICKLY WHEN THEY GOT FED UP WITH THE AWFUL SOUNDS THE DJ WAS SPINNING.

    Stayin' Alive
    Music: 4
    Setting: 4
    People: 4
    Drinks/Prices: 3

With the demise of Munch Bar, Suite Lounge is the club de jour of the Bellevue glitterati. Its location in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Bellevue makes it a convenient choice

The people are what you'd imagine rich 30 somethings to be: dolled up, mannered, and cliquish. And, of course, the people that hunt those kinds of people. The awkwardness of singles fully prepped, yet secluding themselves behind a phalanx of friends, never ceases to baffle me. Nevertheless, glossing over the anti-Darwinian struggles within, the crowd is nice; classy never goes out of style.

I personally like this place because there's easy parking in the hotel garage, accessible without walking outside (a huge plus in the cold). If it gets too loud or unbearable, one can always just stop outside to the (very nice) hotel lobby to relocate center. In addition, it's connected to my favorite bar in Bellevue, Koral, which means drinks before, after, and in between. Koral, IMO, is a way better place to get a drink than inside Suite, with late night happy hours to boot; there is no reason (save a Darwinian display of affluence) to buy drinks at Suite.

The down side, and it is a significant one, is that Suite is tiny. The place was originally designed as a restaurant, not a club. Dance area is too small, it's hard to get around, and the areas are inconveniently partitioned. However, there's been more than a few birthday parties / mixers I've gotten invited to here, so as long as the people like this place, I'll show up, after all, the people is really what going out is about, or should be in a proper evolution way

OK. if you come here, you need to know a few things......

    1. be prepared to see all the stereotypes that Bellevue portrays. That's ok, just keep your head fixed straight ahead. or even better, on your drink or the waitress to bring you your next drink.

    2. come for happy hour, it's actually really decent, and one of the only places downtown that goes until 7.

    3. you may see trapeze artists if you stay late enough, dangling and making themselves bend into positions that would make your mother uncomfortable. (i think they come 9 or later on weekends).

    4. this is, after all, a hotel bar....so if you're coming in a group of women only, be prepared for the business man with his tie loosened, sitting at the bar and making oogly eyes in the direction of all the attractive women. sorry, but true.

look, I have probably scared you away, haven't i? I hope not. I actually really enjoy coming to Suite Lounge and have never had a bad time when I have come. The service from the waitresses has been prompt, the drinks are decent on happy hour, and the food is really tasty too. Park in the garage below, and if you're digging this scene, Joey's is right across the parking lot for a night cap.

    :-)

This place is great for happy hour.  Great food items for great prices.  I had the Shrimp Tacos (Excellent) and the Sliders (Very good to Excellent) a few drinks and left extremely satisfied.  The bar is long and can accomodate a lot of people, and layout is nice.  I will be coming back.

I went to Suite Lounge twice. First time it was a late night when my friend & I finished clubbing and wanna check out this place. The music definitely wasn't as great as nightclub and the crowd were more like elder age groups. It was cool for me to first seeing a lounge with a fancy decoration. I liked the whole atmosphere. So if you are not such a person into dance music and just wanna relax then it maybe is your spot. But I'm definitely not here for clubbing with their not good music Lol.
My second time went to Suite was for happy hour and drinks was good with reasonable prices. I didn't like the taco & hamburger much though it wasn't delicious or fresh made to me.Or if next time I would choose something else for food.I also watched their aerial performer on that night which was cool to me.

Wait Staff, gotta give it up for the wait staff, my recommendation is to have a  themed party, because there are just not enough pretty people to go around, I'm conceded so I need pretty people.  My favorite theme?  Fashion show, a Lingerie fashion show that is.

Went to Suite with four gal friends on a Friday night after work, and enjoyed it. Our server, Dawn, was a total sweetheart. The food, overall, was good but not incredible. A step up from bar food as far as variety but the quality of food was uneven. The cheese plate was really weak, with slices of boring cheese and a small hunk of grapes instead of wedges of interesting cheeses and a variety of fruit. Sliders were good. Salmon poke was delicious but spicier than some of the gals wanted. Quesadillas were really yummy. Flatbread flavors were muddled and too sweet.
Lots of interesting signature drinks to choose from. Decent wine list.
Decor is black and white, crystal chandeliers and color changing lights everywhere. Kind of disco with class. Surprising element -- the trapeze artists who performed throughout the evening.
I would recommend this place for girls night out or a double date or just a fun place to go with your sweetie. Did not find it to be a meat market, but we were there early and sat at a table laughing and enjoying one another's company. A bit pricey but they run Bloomspot coupons regularly so seize on one of those if you want to give the place a try.

I would give it a 3.5, but rounding it up to a 4. This lounge is a typical Eastside lounge. It's pretty, pretty expensive, and pretty much the 30's+ crowd. We came early for a birthday party and stayed for 2 hours or so. We caught 2 acrobatic shows; which we're pretty cool. We didn't have any food so I can't really attest to that. The drinks we're on the pricier side, but they didn't break the bank. Our drinks ranged from $7-$12; wells to a trash can, respectively. I felt they were reasonable Eastside prices.

Our service was good and attentive. She was really nice.

Not entirely sure I'd be back, but definitely a nice place for a Bachelorette party stop or birthday.

I'm partial because I had my birthday here and basically didn't have to look at the bill.  Regardless, if I had come for someone else's birthday and paid for all of my drinks, I would still give this place a great review.

For a Saturday night, expect high quality drinks and Vegas style atmosphere, but also the price tag to go with it.  However hitting up happy hour, which goes daily til 7 can save a lot of cash.  As far as the drinks go they are all delicious and all half price for happy hour, so expect to pay $5-$6 for fancy cocktails.  The food is pretty delicious as well.  My favorite was the tempura rock shrimp.  The batter was barely there and super crispy, just delicious!!  At the hours of 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 on Friday and Saturdays, they have aeralists that preform!  Another thing to keep in mind is no cover, so spending a little extra on a drink isn't so bad after all.

Honestly, I don't know of any other place that makes the quality of cocktails that charges any less, and I'm not sure what prices go for wells.  The other thing I love about Suite is that it's at the Hyatt, so getting a hotel and not having to get a cab or walk anywhere is so nice.

Suite Lounge was okay for what it is: an upscale Eastside club with lots of people showing off their goods. Big time meat market. This is not really my scene but I was happy to come for a friend's party.

We had some tables reserved and the server came by and checked on us from time to time.  The bar was nicely decorated and they played good dance music. There is a dance floor and DJ.

I had a margarita and it was $11! $11 for a basic margarita is pretty steep in my opinion. Having only one drink was a good thing though because I was driving.

Coming out on a weekend night in Bellevue reminds me why I typically stay on the Seattle side.

Yep, Im totally a fan of this lounge!

I Got invited here by a friend of mine that got invited to a  birthday party here so i said yes why not??

It turned out that my friend that invited me ended up not going but good thing she gave me plenty of notice so got myself a date (Escort Express) j/k ... and decided to check the place out.
We got there around 10pm and the place was decently crowded but still empty if that makes sense. They has an aerial performer which i thought it was pretty sweet and cool, the place itself is quite modern and charming. at the bar i got pretty decent drinks and the service was quick.
we decided to seat outside and enjoy the nice night, they have really comfy white couches and huge outdoor heaters that look like huge lamps and everything is white, colored lighted and pretty (how girly i sound?)
The crowd seems nice and diverse.

    I'm definitely coming back!!

I have been there with my girlfriends a hand full of times. I even brought my cousins from London here a couple of months ago. My experiences have ranged from a small group of girls with a quiet night for a couple of drinks, birthday party with 20 people, dinner and drinks with family/friends

    Pro's:

    Free parking
    No cover
    Plenty of seating (bar/tables/VIP booths)
    Good selection of music
    Outdoor patio that's fabulous
    Decor that's hip and swanky
    Clean bathrooms
    Decent drinks
    Hot bartenders
Waitresses are quick to come and check on you
    Aerialist shows

    Con's:

    Drinks are pricey
Not a huge selection of "specialty drinks"
    Food isn't fabulous
Sometimes the music is a little too cheesy (however DJ is more than happy to take requests
    Stopped the free aerialist performance
Frequented by grandfather type men :/
    Dance floor too small
Patio has breaks in ground that makes it easy for intoxicated men and women ( in high heels ) to trip and crack thier head open on concrete.

All in all I would return for drinks/dancing again

Nightlife in Bellevue?  Nah.... You're just fooling yourselves... Or are you?

Surprisingly nice lounge in Bellevue with a slightly older, more professional crowd.  Much needed relief from the teens that harass you at the Parlor and MunchBar.  The decor is nice, the bar has good selections with decent prices (not cheap though).  On the weekends they have a small dancefloor area with a decent DJ and they also have cirque like acrobats with short shows every half hour or so in the evening.  Food is pretty good and the service is friendly and helpful.  Reserving tables requires deposits and bottle service (but they don't seem to care about the bottle service that much).  They are a stickler about IDs though, so you'll have to be sure to bring yours or you'll be sent away at the door.

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE FROM A MAJOR URBAN AREA OR HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT NIGHTLIFE IN MAJOR URBAN AREAS IS LIKE!

You know, even though I've given Suite Lounge just one star, I plan to go back and bring some friends.  Why?  Because it's kind of like a zoo for folks who have absolutely no idea what urban nightlife is really like and so are trying really hard to fabricate something out of reality television.  It really is hilarious: the music is unbelievably cheesy, the bartenders/waitresses are nice but insincere; and the decor is tackier than Vegas.  I know, this sounds really haughty, but one of the best things about Suite was watching folks swagger in and the staff break a sweat to seem "hip."  If you care about your cocktails, I would recommend that you don't buy any of their "signatures" since they don't make them well or any "high end" mixology.  Stick to basics like Margaritas and Vodka Tonics.  And for God's sake, avoid the food unless you're drunk and laughing at the scene.  Its a bit of the old "so bad it's good" experience, but even that only lasts for one drink.

This is a pretty fancy restaurant/bar inside the Hyatt hotel. They have a small dance floor plus a DJ. Another interesting fact is they have someone performing acrobats with a big hoop and curtain rope. I have never seen that inside a restaurant before. Maybe that is why the drinks are so expensive to help pay for the performer. Lol.

The servers were nice and quick with our drink orders even though we had a big party for our group celebrating a birthday. I'm not a big fan of clubs anymore maybe because I'm getting older and I don't like listening to remix songs, but I certainly enjoy a drink just the same during HH.

My girlfriend invited me to a party here. She told me it's a upscale party and asked me to dress up. And, yes, it's more upscale than other clubs I've been to. However, I came to the realization that clubbing is really not my scene anymore. I am way passed that age!

    Location:
This lounge is located in Hyatt. According to my girlfriend, there's free parking under the building. Or, you can park in either Lincoln square or Bellevue square. It's free as well.

    Decor:
It's very relaxing. There are couches and comfortable seating around. In the back of the lounge, there's a small dancing floor next to the bar.

    Food and Drinks:
I had only one drink there because I drove. The drink I ordered was called Blonde on Blonde. I'd say it's a strong drink. I didn't finish mine. I actually had slight hang over the next morning. I ordered two small plates: Salmon poke and veggie tempura. I think the salmon poke was pretty good and fresh. The touch of fresh jalapeno was even better. Though, the chips on the side were a bit too greasy! Veggie tempura with sweet and spicy sauce wasn't as good as I thought. When it comes to tempura, you gotta have the really tempura sauce.

    Service:
It was a bit slow because there were a couple big groups around us. But, the lady who helped out was good. She got our order going and made sure clean up when we were done.

If you are mid age like myself and still want to dance and have some fun, you should totally check this place out. I can see why people came here instead of clubs like Trinity.

Suite is one of the classiest and swankiest spots to have a drink in Downtown Bellevue.  I've gone to Suite for birthday parties, special events, and just to grab a few drinks with friends.  The ambiance is fantastic, the flow is great, and I've always gotten good service from the staff.  It also has a true lounge like atmosphere so you don't feel like your in a douchey nightclub or in the bar that's attached to a restaurant.

Suite is a great place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night.  Where else are you going to have a martini and watch a scantily clad aerial acrobat spin around in a hoop while you listen to good music and talk to your friends.

Where do you mingle with a great crowd?

Suite Lounge. Bellevue has needed this for a long time! This is a great place at many levels. The decor is beautiful, along with the crowd.

Love running into random friends and acquaintences every time I go! Have a few cocktails, mingle, and then hit the city.

I've been here with friends as well as for networking events. You're sure to run into someone you "should" know!

What a fun way to meet like minded professionals.

I love Suite because you get a great crowd mix, while everyone puts an effort into what they look like, which they should!

It's all smiles when I'm out with my peeps here, and the beats are just as sexy as the people!

Save the T shirts and tennis shoes for somewhere else.

    Cheers!

Suite is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go on the East side. Sexy atmosphere, good looking people, ideal location. For once, you risk running into a ton of interesting people you have *never* met. YAY! It's about time.

Suite is exactly what Bellevue needed. An ultra lounge this fun usually only exists in Seattle.

The concept of the lounge is definitely swanky & that's what makes it great! Come dressed to impress ( um...why wouldn't you?!) and make your way to Joeys, Earls, or Munch after a few great cocktails at Suite.

The bartender nailed the French 75 and my girls were stoked they had Whipped Vodka.

Live entertainment....hanging from the ceiling with a twist.

Located in the WinterGarden of the Hyatt Regency & there's tons of free parking.

Located in the lobby of the Hyatt Bellevue, this place is nothing special.

The chicken quessedia was decent, but not something I would order again.

The beef sliders tasted burnt and lacked any flavor. The fries were soggy and stale tasting, despite being hot.

The service was acceptable, but not upto Hyatt hotel standards (It does appear though that this is a leased location, and not owned by Hyatt, which explains alot)

I would not return here and would not recommend this place to others. If you are in the hotel, I would highly suggest Koral inside the Hyatt , Pearl at the Westin or heck even walking to the Bellevue Collection for food choices, I would have enjoyed a premium value meal from McDonalds over this meal and it would have been cheaper.

*Updated 6/24 only to change the name of the Hyatt food choices from Twisted Cork which has closed, to Koral and add another option of Pearl at the Westin**

Friday night featured an aerial acrobat who was wonderful to watch. That was the real draw. The wine list wasn't terribly broad but had decent ones from Napa and Oregon which were reasonably priced. The service was very spot on and we never felt neglected at all.
Overall, we had a great time and felt like the concept was nice but a poor facsimile of Las Vegas or LA. For what it was - it was fine for a hotel lobby area bar.

Went here for new years eve and it was a waste of $45!

Terrible service at the bar and didn't get the champagne at midnight that was supposedly included with all tickets. They sold way too many tickets for such a small space and there was nowhere to sit unless you paid $80+ for a table!! It also said we had access to the wintergarden which ended up being the lobby of the hotel?!?! I will never go back.

I went here for the #GSbash I loved the decor.  The seats were lush and cushy.  There was a VERY cheesy cover band playing Duran Duran and Copa Cabana.  All very cute. All very loud.

The one appetizer I had was a yummy slider. I would have thought the event would have provided more. I do not know if that was an organizer mistake  or restaurant mistake, but we left after an hour so maybe they worked it out.

Here's where it goes down hill: Price!  I live in a very nice home and have nice things because I value MY money.  $14.25 each  for a watered down, over-iced  POIRE Tini?  One drink!  My husband had another off of their (finger quote) special, supposedly Top Shelf, cocktail menu-- with no prices on said menu.  I guess that should have been the clue we needed.  Total with tax and tip?  $35 for drinks that didn't even give me a warm, mellow feelings.

For that price, I could have bought a bottle or two given the new laws soon to come into effect.  Yep, my house has even cozier seats and we can make a 1/2 dozen cocktails for that price. call me cheap, but I'll be able to put my kids through college. Heh!

Also, the chick bartender kept referring to the menu for ingredients and explained they had just come up with these drinks that day, so she didn't know what was in them.  For $17 after tax/tip for each one, you better be @#$% expert on them, especially for a social media event.

So, based on ambiance, I would definitely give it 4 stars, but I base my reviews on whether I would come back or recommend to a friend, and for that, it gets a resounding NO.

Sorry.  I hope you guys train your bartenders better and roll back those prices into reality. This is not New York.  This is not Vegas,  This is suburban Bellevue.

    Best,

Very swanky and over priced.  You'll feel like you're in Vegas... with a bunch of COUGARS!  It was definitely Cougarville when I went for a friend's birthday.

The decor is bedroom like.  Get it?  Suite!

Can't speak for the food, but the drinks were pretty expensive for what I was getting.

This place is very chic and sexy.  The food is great and it comes out fast.
The chef Im told has worked around the world and you can see some of that in his unique dishes.  It is packed on the weekends and hasnt advertised.  It sports a 30+ crowd that is fun.  There really isnt another place in Bellevue where you can dress casual nice and listen to good music without it being piano music.  I also love the acrobats that hang from the drapery......Circ de Soliel-like...

Hosted a party there recently.  Service was absolutely horrible.  We ordered bottles for service, ended up getting 1 or 2 drinks out of them and then returning them as every time we need them to be "unlocked' (one of the stupid WA rules BTW),  the damn bottle servers or the keys to the bottle boxes were no were to be found.  People that were in the  party ended going to the bar as there were nearly enough staffers to serve the group.

Video system is terrible!  I mean 1980's quality, this is 2011.  We wanted pictures displayed on the flat screen and they were missing every hue of red.  Nobody really knew how the system worked.  For a new joint, they still have a lot of kinks to work out.

Ambiance is nice, everything else was really sub-par.

So, in short, terrible service, by waitresses and the bar tenders were behind and lax about it the entire time (good bartenders can crank it out while bringing some personality to the table).

Won't be back.  Too many other place to spend my dollars.

A very appropriate season to open!

    This place is SPOOKTACULARLY SUB-PAR.

Been here a couple times (just to make sure I didn't like it :B).

This place is still relatively new and hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out, but there are a loooooot of kinks. Some of which are as follow:

    -SPIRITS are FRIGHTENINGLY weak
-GHOSTS for service staff (see if you can find the bartenders at times!)
    -GHASTLY decor (personal taste...)

This place is pretty much a GHOST TOWN during the week

I don't see it lasting any longer than the ill-fated Stir. This space is CURSED methinks.

(ok I'm done with the halloween stuff I swear)

AFFAIR would be a much more appropriate name for this place.

I would give it 2 stars, but I figured it is not polite to rate a place on it's vibe and patronage.

After dinner in Kirkland on a Friday evening a group of us was looking for a place to boogie and have some cocktail and we didn't want to cross the bridge (shame on us). Mind you I just had a totally fabulous bar hopping weekend before with my girls on Cap. Hill.

Back to this joint, my buddy heard there was a new lounge that just opened in the Hyatt building. Let's check it out, how bad could it possibly be? Some one once posted "Seattle is like Manhattan and Bellevue is like Jersey" ...once again I am convinced this is totally true. Suite (Affair) is a relatively small lounge with a Vegas-ish vibe to it, but on a much smaller scale.

Upon walking in, it felt like I was getting sized up as a potential one night stand mate. Packed with 40+ men and business travelers and a wide variety of "I'd like to think I'm cool" cheesed%&ks, this place reeked of a meat market. If I ever watched Jersey Shore, I would imagine this is what their clubs/lounges feel like...but everyone is younger.

We sat down (since there was no where else to go & Munch Bar is even a worse alternative), had some cocktails, watched a brief aerial performance and left within 45 minutes. Service was very adequate.

Oh Bellevue...you still have so much to learn from Seattle in terms of night life.

I forget the name of the lounge that vacated the space that recently reopened as Suite, but I didn't remember that nightclub often when they were still in business. Suite is much more memorable. The decor gives the place a cosmopolitan feel without being pretentious. A few of my more well-traveled companions suggested it is very European. On the night we partied there it was packed with well-dressed people, and the ambiance was great. This was partly due to the earlier party at Twisted Cork, but I expect this will continue to be a happening spot. My friends have certainly been talking about it.

One of the high points was the pair of circus aerialists who performed two brief shows during the evening. I love stuff like that, so I'm probably biasing my review a bit to favor the club. But lots of other people enjoyed it too. I hope they continue offering that kind of entertainment. Suite deserves extra kudos for a classy touch like that.

However, not all is perfect at this place. I felt like drinking a Vesper martini that evening, but as is often the case the bar didn't have the correct ingredients. I should have understood the problem when the waitress came back and asked me about my vodka preference but didn't mention which gin the bartender intended to use. That was an important clue that something was wrong. It would have been better just to have ordered something else altogether. The cocktail they served me was horrible. If I hadn't been so absorbed with chatting and having fun with my friends I would have sent it back. I'm not even a cocktail snob. I've happily consumed my fair share of poorly improvised drinks, but this one was the grand wizard of bad. Don't hesitate to send sub-standard drinks back to the bar!

The location in the Hyatt building makes this place perfect for meeting and hanging out with international travelers and Eastsiders who enjoy more sophistication than what's found at most other Bellevue spots. When they get their cocktail situation under control this will be a great place to hang out, and I really hope they succeed.

Went to the private grand opening event this past Thursday. I thought this place was super cool. I love the decor and the big outdoor patio area.
I definitely recommend checking this place out.

It's located in the Hyatt Wintergarden area.
