Trattoria Caterina

Excellent food at a great price, and consistently excellent service.  We always go here to hold office lunches.  What's not to love?

I really wanted to like this little Italian restaurant, in fact so much so that I've given it several tries. But the mediocre food, detached staff and no longer inexpensive prices make it a functional experience at best. With so many new Italian restaurants in the city this is hard to recommend.

Came here just for dessert and tea.
-- Tiramisu--the lady fingers hadn't been soaked in anything and were dry and possibly stale. How do you not soak the lady fingers in anything?
-- Cannoli--the cream was mealy. And the description said nothing of it being a chocolate filling, although it's debatable if it was even a chocolate filling. The shell itself was also stale.
--The prepackaged tea & hot water was delicious
