This place is decent. It's a lot like other ale houses with a wide variety of food and alcoholic beverages. They were showing a few different sports games on the televisions here. Prices seemed fair and reasonable from what I remember. Parking can be a little tricky but if you circle for a bit, you'll find a spot.
Not really sure what else to say about this place except that it's a good spot to meet up with friends, have a bite and/or a drink and catch up on sports. You don't have to watch sports though if you just want to eat and drink then this is a good spot.
While the food at this place is somewhat sub-par, definitely go here for the Beer, particularly Thursdays. The Monkey Head beer which they only serve on Thursdays are the frickin bomb.
With that being said, there are long lines around 8-11, so the later you come the better (or the earlier).
Excellent brews and fries.
I would avoid it on Thursdays before 11:30pm or so- Monkeyhead night makes it shoulder-to-shoulder packed and you really have to strain to have a conversation. Later in the night is calmer, as are other nights of the week. If you go at a weird time, like 'round midnight on a Monday, it's a very chill environment with great music and easy conversation.
The patio closes at 10pm (for noise reasons), but it's really nice up there before 10.
They're expanding to the empty lot next door soon, so hopefully that makes Thursdays more bearable.
