Disappointed by food and new high prices. They have new management and raised the food prices significantly. They have every right to do so, but they took away the salad with entree, made the portions smaller, AND decreased the quality of the food.
I had the Chicken Picatta and it wasn't great. Its supposed to be light and pounded down, or butterflied, and cooked in egg and flour with a lemin sauce.
What they serve is a thick chicken breast that looks like it came from a box at Costco, with a lemon sauce on it, and wayyyy too salty.
Maybe if it was $!2 that wouldbe ok, but its $18, and for $18 you should get more.
These new prices you could eat at J Alexander and have a FAR superior meal there than at Tropics.
I do notice the dining room is dead now. there were only 4 tables with people at them.
The waitstaff were attentive and friendly.
