I've eaten here 3 times already and I'm hooked. The first thing I had was their pizza which was cheesy and had the fresh delicious green peppers on it, very good!. Next I had their cheesesteak with mushrooms bell pepper cheddar and mozzerella, this sandwhich is unlike anything I've ever had! not only is the portion amazing but the flavor is as well! Last but not least is the lasagna, all I can say is it hit all the right notes! This place is by far the BEST pizzaria I've eaten at in the roselle/roselle park area, if you haven't been I suggest you find your way there asap; you won't be disappointed.
Review Source:I just had lunch at Valentinos earlier today. This is the third time I've eaten there and I wanted to make a point to write a review for this restaurant. The food is absolutely excellent.
Today, I ordered the chicken parmigiana and they gave me a massive plate of food with a basket of fresh hot bread. It was delicious! The entire meal cost me $8.50 with a large coke! The owner, Manny, is a really nice guy as well.
It's not the type of place you would go to have a formal sit down dinner, but for a casual night, you can't beat it. The food is great, the service is friendly and the prices are unbeatable!
Valentinos is a small restaraunt that has mostly Italian foods at reasonable prices. The service is fast and friendly.
I used to eat at Valentinos all of the time until recently. I don't know what changed but whatever it was, it was for the worse. The last few times that I was there and ordered the pasta, it was very watery and didn't have much of a taste. However, I have had other dishes here (chicken fingers/fries, chicken parm sandwich, etc.) and they were OK.
Steer clear of the pasta and you should be fine.
