Absolutely the most blatantly, unapologetically "I'll get to you when I get to you" service we've experienced!!! Â It was disgusting how the waiter left us sitting for 10 minutes without even acknowledging our presence -- not even with a menu, or some water -- while putt-ing around with who-knows-what behind the counter. Â Naturally, we left very indignantly. Â And this 1-star tells you the aftertaste hasn't left.... Â :(
Review Source:This place is the ISH. Seriously, my FAVORITE wing place for several reasons.
1. I LOVE crispy, fried wings, they cook them just right!
2. The homemade blue cheese dressing is where it's at!
3. When I order hot wings, they are hot, but not too hot at all.
4. The staff here is so incredibly friendly.
Small segue on "hot" wings: Seriously, hot wings should be HOT, they shouldn't turn you into a fire-breathing dragon, but they also should not be for the faint of heart. My perfect way to judge is when you get that little bit of sweat under your eyes, above your cheeks? Yeeeeeah you know what I'm talking about... that's what the hot sauce here does for me. BAM!
Fries are great, sandwiches are great. Oh! I have two more words for you. CORN. NUGGETS. With some ranch dressing these things are DE-LISH and perfect to start your fried splurge meal.
This really is the kind of place you have to check out to see for sure.
Me my friend and his brother went to this little place to get some wings. Now Ive heard good things from other people so I wanted to check it out. The place is small and quaint and it smells great. I ordered the garlic parm wings. They tasted great but I have a few issues. First off the wings were fried so a lot of the meat wasnt there, I like nice juicy wings wich these were not. Second ever since I got home my guts have been rumbling like crazy and I feel a little sick. I cant stop using the pooper. for these two reasons alone I dont think I will go back.
Review Source:Come visit if you want to taste the best wings in Broward County. Â This quaint and friendly restaurant offers wings with many different sauces and you can add the level of spice you like. Â To our surprise, Wilton Wings offers much more than just wings. Â The food options that were very fresh. Â The New England clam chowder was home-made as was their cole slaw. Â We also loved their home-made desserts - best brownies in town and perfectly tart key lime pie. Â This is a restaurant I will definately visit again - loved it so much that I'll be back on Sunday for more wings.
Review Source:Cooks on cell phones while making meals. Wings came out soggy drenched & swimming in 3/4" hot sauce. Chx nuggets over cooked & inedible. Only good experience was Friendly Server. Was here 03OCT." Â I've been here before, but lets just say, I do not see this place making it for the long haul! Â The only saving grace was the Awesome Server!
Review Source:Big fan of a place that is really more of a classic wings joint. Â All the other restaurants that serve wings try to push the envelope on something that is designed to be a down-to-earth fun food. Â I don't want fancy wings... I want grease and kickin' taste!
Fry 'em up and serve 'em with a tasty sauce. Â Serve me in a colored plastic grid bowl with a side of curly fries (soaked up in the sauce, of course). Â Forget about the calories and just say 'YUM'!
I must tell you, I am not easily impressed by these things called wings. I am a self proclaimed, wing-o-maniac, and wings, are a major reason I could never commit to being a vegetarian.
For those of you familiar with Wilton Manors have seen its undertakings at re-vamping itself with new businesses and high rises. This wing shop is a little bit away from the buzz of it all, but totally worth driving the few extra miles.
Upon entering, I'll admit, I was a bit nervous that I had woken my friend up from a deep slumber to join me in trying out "a really great wing place." Â
Coming across a placard that said 2008 Best Eatery in Ft. Lauderdale, I was some what pseudo re-assured, and gave my friend the nod of "trust me, I would never steer you wrong."
Decor was simple; service was good. One was led to believe our server was a tad on the particular side, in that he could not have any stray papers or happenings besides food on the table. Playing with my straw's wrapper, he held out his hand for me to place it in his palm, as if I were being reprimanded for chewing gum in grade school. I obeyed. However, I regained my adult hood back by ordering a beer.
Lemon Pepper Wings = Two Thumbs Up, house made bleu cheese with celery seed and fresh cut sweet potato fries, equally great.
.... I can't really tell you what makes a chicken wing good, but when you come across a good one, you just know.
Short review, awesome place! I had the honey mustard grilled wings. Very tasty. The burgers looked delicious too.
The place ain't fancy but the service is outstanding. Very friendly staff and keen to explain the options. So if you can look past the outdated diner-y feel, you're gonna love this place.
Wilton wings, you've made a fan out of me!
I usually come here for the wings because they are good, and the price is right, but I had 'heard' that the burgers here are good. Â So, I came in and asked Donald, my favorite waiter, about the burgers. He gave me his suggestion (the patty melt), but I opted for the bacon blue cheese burger.
No doubt about it, it was great! (Now I have to go back and try the patty melt, as it was suggested by Donald). Â This is definitely a friendly place, and I have never been disappointed.
I can't say how the wings are because I generally don't eat them from anywhere, however Wilton Wings has THE BEST hamburgers youlll get in any restaurant. The meat is soft like warm butter. Awesome. The even beat Georges Alibi's burgers, which are in town and have won awards. I believe it's only because Wilton Wings hasn't entered their burgers i. The same contest. Staff is all very friendly and unpretentious. Doesn't take Amex.
Review Source:Wings here are hit or miss. Â Sometimes they are great and sometimes they are overcooked and dry. Â Chicken soup is good, but I have to save a mini-rave for their chicken salad. Â Very good! Â They don't always have it, but when they do it makes a great sandwich. Â Service is good at lunchtime, Jamie always takes good care of us! Â Service with a smile, literally.
Review Source:I've never been much of a wings nut before but this place sold me on them - and yes - hot and spicy with blue cheese dressing that didn't make any sense til I tried it. Â
Other stuff on the menu is good too. Â Including a Chicken Caesar Salad that is maybe the best in town for an incredibly cheap price.
I'm not a huge fan of wings but this place was pretty tasty. They have a special where you can get up to 25 wings, curly fries and a pitcher of soda for about $23. It's perfect to share. The wings themselves can be made in a variety of sauces, we opted for the mild sauce but there's plenty more to choose from.
With friendly and quick service, Wilton Wings is a tasty little treat in the heart of Wilton Manors.
Best wings hands down. Only place that understands the concept of really well done, i know most people dont like their wings extra crispy but Wilton wings knocks it out of the chicken coop. Me and my wife frequent there and come to be treated like life long customers. I highly recommend the hot powdered garlic. The homemade curly fries also are amazing. Also at lunch they have a great concept of a punch card, monday and tuesday is double punch and when you fill the card ( one punch for each lunch item ordered ) you get $8.00 dollars off your meal. Be sure to enjoy the food
Review Source:Decent wings, done in powdered type seasonings, not a wet sauce, different but decent. Hot wings are not good though, saggy and not really hot at all. Wings here are definitely too expensive though. WingStop you get better sauces and better prepared wings and a lot more food for cheaper than Wiltonwings, but they're good in a pinch. LOL
Review Source:I have to be honest, I wasn't a huge wings fan prior to coming to Wilton Wings, but I have to say this place made me a fan. I was still thinking about the wings the next day & craving them.
It's a hole in the wall, humble decor, simple fare & reasonable prices. The menu offers wings in various amounts (you can choose just drums or flats if you don't want a mix), with several sauces to choose from. I chose the medium sauce & it was pretty delicious, next time I'll try some of the other flavors because there will most definitely be a next time.
There are some other options on the menu: burgers, sandwiches, salads & soups. Â Their small order of curly fries (for only $2.50 people!) was pretty big for being a "small size" & delicious to boot.
There are combo options including one that brings 25 wings, large curly fries & a pitcher of soda for $23. Tasty & inexpensive, always the best combination. Wilton Wings will always satisfy my wings cravings from now on.
Be careful, the wings here are highly addictive!!! Â Wilton Wings has the best chicken wings I have ever had. They offer a variety of sauces for your wings, and Ive tried just about all of them, but honey bbq is my favorite. The burgers are super tasty as well.
Wilton Wings is just down the street from the old Wings and Things in Wilton Manors, but the crowd is usually a good mix of gay and straight. Alot of people there seem to know each other and its a very friendly enironment.
