  This is a go-to spot for my friends and I because it has a generous menu and beer offering and great service. Note, Friday nights during the school year can be busy because it seems like the family spot especially during football season. During the summer it is nice to dine on the deck, but I wear my repellent because I'm just a feast for bugs.
  
  My recent trip I had the burger and fries and I agree, I'm surprised it didn't make the cut for Cincinnati Magazine especially after going around and trying many of the 40 burgers (I've had a year).
  
  They have a popcorn machine - sometimes it's good and sometimes it burnt. Can't win'em on the free popcorn!

  Everyone needs a place like this in their neighborhood: reliably decent  bar food, friendly service, some tvs for watching sports, and a great deck for kicking back on a nice day.  
  
  Before the trend of huge craft beer selections swept over our local bar and restaurant scene, the Tavern's beer selection would have been considered very solid.  It could use some beefing up to catch up with other area spots, but when you're in the mood for a domestic light beer and a burger or a great taco salad, Wooster Tavern delivers.

  I've been here on two occasions...once with drinks and no food and the other for food and no drinks...I will definitely be back to finally combine the two. On our first visit, the place had a decent selection of beers and drinks. On our second trip, we discovered some pretty decent bar food. Luckily our second trip was also on a beautiful day so we were able to enjoy their back patio. (The patio does apparently closes at 11pm to keep the noise down for the area residents.) There are some great specials during the week. Monday offers half off wings and buy one app get one half off and a pizza deal. I also noticed they have a burger deal on Tuesdays. My burger was tasty as were our wings....and I can't express my happiness when a place offers tater tots as a side. Husband had something called a "pizzarito." He said it was "legit." I don't know what a legit pizzarito is, but apparently Wooster Tavern has them.
  
  There is apparently a new management team and lower prices - but since this was our first time experiencing the food - I can't compare it to the previous regime.
  
  It definitely seems to be a laid back spot and worth checking out if you are in the area, especially on a nice day to enjoy the patio.

  Wooster Tavern is a great place to be a regular.  Reliable staff, reliable menu, reliable beers on tap.  The wings, pizza, big salads, and tater tots are all worth eating as often as you're willing to go!  I would love it if they would add a more interesting seasonal beer to the selection every now and then.

  No longer the best bar on columbia parkway, still, a great place with a nice patio for the nice weather, the insides are a little dark, and the service can be a little slow.  A simple place, for a simple drink, nothing more, nothing less.  The bar food is slightly above average for a bar.  So food, 4 stars, atmosphere 3 stars, service 2 stars... let's average out, to an average bar...

  Wooster Tavern is a clean dive bar/pub in Mariemont.  It has a very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of TVs to watch sports.  What is there not to like about this place?  Plenty of beer on tap and great bar food.
  
  Every good dive bar has a great appetizer menu.  Wooster doesn't disappoint!  The best are the loaded fries!  Plenty of cheese. bacon, and ranch.  Absolutely fantastic!
  
  I am amazed that the burgers didn't make the Cincinnati Magazine's Best Burgers list.  They are delicious!  My favorite is the Mushroom Burger with Provolone instead of Swiss.  My husband loves the grilled Chicken Sandwich.  You can tell it has been marinated for a long time so the chicken stays moist.
  
  They also have a fantastic Burritos.  They are giant so you can split it it or have lunch for the next day.  I like the pizza burrito the best.  The pizzas are great too.
