Muz's

It;s a dive bar... one of the best. To keep it short, if you don't like dive bars, you shouldn't go.... or should you?

Reasons to love Muz's:

1. Cheap Drinks
2. Black Mold (Supposedly)
3. Men's Restroom: No handle on the sink
4. Women's Restroom: Water is consistently running
5. Lemongrass and Basil soap in the Men's restroom
6. Darts
7. Its dark, really dark
8. $2 PBR's

Muz's should not get 4 stars but yet it does because Muz's is Muz and its the type of bar that you want to hate but ironically you love it.

I moved from out of town and Muz's was one of the first places where I could meet and talk to real people from the area. The regulars and the bartenders were an instant connection to genuine locals, not like going to Friday's.  The other bars on Mt Lookout Square are impersonal meat markets, pretty much.  Muz's has regulars who know each other and are glad to befriend someone new.  The jukebox is great.  The beer is good enough.
