Zip's Cafe

Back home in Nebraska my boyfriend started a burger club with his friends where they searched for the ultimate burger. Here in Cincinnati the vote was unanimous, Zip's all the way. The eclectic atmposphere is the perfect setting to enjoy an amazing burger or other delicacies. I've never been able to eat a whole burger without it falling out of the bun but regardless I come back each time! Zip's is just about always packed with people and there's no denying the crowd is always pleased. Considering there is almost always a full house, the staff is very quick to greet you, get your order, and get you ready to go. I've never been disappointed by this fabulous restaurant with tons of character.

While many places boast "best burger" most of the competitors lack the atmosphere, the service, and the mom & pop feel that consistently turns out great meals.

Finally went here for the first time even though I've living within walking distance for years! They have an awesome draft beer selection. The service was fast and friendly. The bar is small, but has very charming decor: lots of dark wood. I didn't eat there, but I hear they have good burgers. ;) Highly recommend for drinks. I'm planning to go back and try out the food.

I think maybe people in town might have gotten my hopes up a bit too high. I was told prior to visiting the first time that they had the very best burgers in town or that the burgers were their favorite burgers of all time. Zip's was fine. The service was good, the ambiance had lots of character and the food was solid. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. Was it the best burger in town? Not sure just moved here but I was a bit let down. Its a good neighborhood place. Not setting the world on fire.
