Ichiban Japanese Cuisine

We've been to Ichiban 3 times and we love their food.  My son has been there with his friends probably 6 times.  However, I would like to CAUTION anyone WITH PEANUT ALLERGIES.  They DO NOT LABEL their menu correctly.  We ordered a Yakisoba Udon and when my son, who has a moderate peanut allergy, took a serving immediately developed mouth, tongue and throat itching. Then only did we realize it had peanut sauce and confirmed with the waiter  that it had peanut sauce. Luckily we had access to medications.  THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A FATAL EVENT if someone with severe peanut allergy relied solely on their menu's information.  PEANUT SAUCE SHOULD NEVER be a SECRET ingredient.  I still gave them a 4 star because we like their food.  We just hope they correct this mistake.

Half price sushi, and they have some unique rolls that are great.  Everything about the experience was stellar-patient service for our large group, informative and flexible when I wanted to add one more roll as we were mid-meal.  The only down side here is the parking, but you can't hold that against a place that's in such a good location.

The rolls are good and the prices are reasonable.

This restaurant is pretty large so it's ideal for larger groups.

Service was slow on a Saturday night. I think it took 1.5 hrs to get our food.
