Much like any chain, you typically know what you are in for at a place like Buffalo Wild Wings. Let me confirm your suspicions.

This Bdubs has a standard menu. The lunch pricing is attractive and typically comes out quickly, although not always as warm as you'd prefer. A variety of beers are on tap, as well.

Many TVs adorn the walls, though you might not be able to hear the event you prefer. Often, the audio is much to loud for normal conversation, as well.

Service is very hit or miss. This location seems to churn its employee roster rather quickly and you can often be served by someone quite inexperienced or poor. As always, you get what you pay for.

Parking in this location is pretty poor. Seasonally, the Rookwood Commons shopping center can get very busy and this location has pretty active TJ Maxx and Nordstrom anchors that soak up a lot of parking. The corner that BWW inhabits is particularly poorly designed and difficult to navigate around. The lunch crowd can be a challenge.

The clientele is a bit more upscale given the location. This is by no means a dive.

I would estimate that the Hyde Park/Norwood Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty typical for this franchise. The food is mediocre at best, service is spotty, but you do get lots of sports on TV. If that is your thing, this location will supply.

I think this is a decent place to catch a game or hang out with friends.  Service was fine, but I did go during an off-peak time.  Most importantly, I was able to watch the game I wanted to watch with audio. I had called ahead to see whether or not they were playing the game, and strangely it took 8 minutes to get the answer.

Food: Typical bar fare; I enjoyed the warmed pita chips with artichoke dip.  Jalepeño poppers and soft pretzels with queso was okay.  The wings taste pretty good,  and you can choose from many different types of sauces.  I think there is a good amount of sauce on the wings, and they're nice and flavorful. For a deal on wings, check out Wing Tuesdays and Boneless Thursdays.  As another plus, this place also offers free wifi, though my husband was having wireless connectivity issues.

Overall, it isn't a must-try destination, but serves its purpose well, and I'd go back to watch games.

First off, I really don't like the wings at BWW, which is pretty important considering their name. Having said that, this particular BWW is better than most. The staff is friendly, the food comes out quickly, and the bartenders always make sure your drinks stay full. I typically only come up here for UFC pay per views, so once a month at most.

Despite the small and tacky wings that all BWW's serve, their sauces and dry rubs are actually pretty decent. We've settled on Desert Heat for dry rub and Thai Curry & Mango Habanero for wing sauces. All three flavors are very good. I just wish I could put them on a half way decent wing.
